They took a walk in, didn't even give me a call or confirm my coming before they took a walk in on my scheduled appointment. Scheduled appointments should be priority, well.. not at this dentist, they're all about who gets there first just to get money. So if you get stuck on an inconvenience and you're late 5 mins or 10.. say goodbye to your appointment because a walk-in pretty much took your spot.

My wisdom tooth was saved and a screw was placed next to the side of a pre-existing gap or empty space of tooth. The plan of treatment was to eventually receive an abutment and a crown for that tooth. I waited about a month and a half to two months for my next procedure to be performed. I was given a list of the costs totalling $6632.00. Once I arrived at the dental office, I was shocked to find that my dental procedure was gonna cost me another $3500 plus. I was not aware or was not entirely explained in full detail of the final cost of treatment. Beware of Healthcare places of business like this. I will be going elsewhere to finish my dental work.

Due to COVID, I had to wait outside in my car while it was raining and complete the check in. Unfortunately, no instructions were given on how to use the laptop. The 1st bridge that was placed on my bottom teeth had holes in the front that can be visibly seen & the whole time I was gaslit from the entire staff saying they don't see the holes or discoloration when you can clearly see it in a picture. I didn't have any patience left because my teeth were just aching, so I called my usual dentist and asked for them to refer me to a dentist that cared. Reluctantly, they referred me to Dr. Diaz of Sherwin Kershman D.D.S. and Associate. I set up an appointment and he saw me in less than a week. Much better than waiting over a month just for a checkup. Service was really friendly and quite speedy. There's no B.S., they tell you what's up. They took an X-ray, checked my blood pressure, etc. and gave me pamphlets and let me watch a video about wisdom teeth extractions and why they're often necessary, and then the Doc came in to see me. They educate you and let you know what they recommend so you won't feel like they're going to nickel and dime you for unnecessary precedures. Right off the bat, he's really friendly, explains everything he's going to do in detail, and is up for any questions you may have. I set the appointment for the extraction about a week from that day. I got there, wham, put me to sleep, bam, 45 minutes later I'm awake and my wisdom teeth are gone. It's that easy. This dentist knows what he's doing. I'd recommend him to anyone.

He did well to address any questions and concerns as well, and my actual procedure was insanely quick. 20 minutes after all was said and done, after waiting for the numbing to take effect anyway. He also seems to narrate a bit of what he's doing during surgery, which really takes away that whole dreadful "what's happening now?!" feeling you might get if you're afraid of dentists anyway. The staff there was also very friendly and helpful, between going through the paperwork to the assistants working by him. I was so scared/worried/anxious as she's never been put to sleep but the male nurse was so kind, patient, understanding, he made me feel so comfortable answering all my questions & explained everything to me & my daughter too. He included my daughter in the conversation really listening to & answering her concerns. He patiently reassured her he'd be by her side throughout it all, & he was! He told her everything that would be done before they did anything, which helped calm her. I felt my daughter was very safe in their hands. While I was waiting the nurse came out several times to give me a status update. She had 2 crowns, fillings & 1 tooth pulled it took 30 minutes & the nurse let me know how she was doing every step of the way. The dentist & anesthesiologist came out & met with me before the procedure. They let me know what work needed to be done, showed me the X-rays all before the procedure. I was included in & really appreciated that. I highly recommend this location to anyone who has a child that needs anesthesia for dental work! If you're terrified like I was, this is the place to go, they truly care about children, they're safety is number one. They take several steps to ensure your child can proceed with the anesthesia. The nurse & the anesthesiologist both took my daughters vitals, asked me many health questions. I cannot stress enough how much they value children's safety here! If your child ate during the timeframe they're not supposed to, or they're sick, they won't proceed with the appointment & will reschedule. For me, this was super reassuring & proof that kid's safety comes first & is what they value most of all. If any of my other kids ever need dental surgery with anesthesia, I will be going back here!
