After seeing my friend Kelli's photos from different occasions, I had to ask her who her photographer is. Of course, she has an attractive family, however in addition to that I was so taken with the poses, the lighting, the locations and just everything about them. With the holidays coming up I contacted her photographer right away and received a prompt response which I very much appreciated. We were fortunate enough to be able to coordinate our family (8 people) with the schedule of Erin @Loveisaphoto that worked for all of us. Unfortunately, we had a family emergency and had to reschedule. I contacted Erin immediately to reschedule for a later date and found her to be very understanding and cooperative. We set a date that worked best for us, coordinated everyone and then it didn't just rain, it poured. Erin was on top of things, found us the perfect location and we were all set. As the saying goes "third time's the charm" and boy was it ever. We met Erin and she was as professional and sweet as could be. We walked out to the location, and Erin immediately got things going. With a 9-month-old and a 3 1/2 year old I was so happy to see how they both warmed up to her sweet personality and smiled and laughed. Erin had such creativity in poses and positioning all of us. Her attention to detail is one of the things that most impressed me. If hair was out of place she would walk up to us and fix it, if a pant leg on one of the kids was up she would walk over and fix it. Things I would not have even thought of. We had three generations of family members, and she captured the best of all of us. We were anxiously awaiting the photos and surprisingly it was only two weeks when I received an email letting us know that our photos are ready to download. I have no words to describe how I felt as I started looking at the photos. I was blown away with every single photo. They were perfect. There was not a single thing that I would change about them. We were all so happy. This was the first time our grandchildren had professional photos taken and by looking at how they all turned out, you would never know that. She had a way with the kids. She was so gentle and kind when speaking with them and they very much cooperated with her. My daughter-in-law had tears of joy when she saw the photos of her boys and her little family. Erin captured unexpected moments. Now the hard part is choosing the ones I want to print. You will not regret booking personality photos of your children through Erin! I stumbled upon her Instagram through mutual friends and booked the first pop up date I could get! My kids didn't really know what I signed them up for but immediately Erin made them feel comfortable and silly. They had a lot of fun and she totally catered to them. My wife and I decided to take family photos for our ten-year wedding anniversary and chose Erin from Lovisa Photo. We wanted a certain look to the photos and she was quick in her responses with locations and sent sample photos of what style we could have. She was very good with communication during our decision process and addressed any concerns and questions we had. We settled on Bommer Canyon in Irvine and it was a perfect setting for what we wanted. We have two young children and also invited both sets of in-laws for a total of nine people. I feared that it would be a little chaotic with everyone there and getting all of the shots we wanted, but Erin was wonderful in organizing everyone and most importantly, handling the kids and getting great shots out of them. We shot for about an hour and we got everything we wanted and more. The photos were delivered on time and we were pleasantly surprised that she included even more photos than we expected. The quality was great and the lighting was perfect. I don't know how much color correction or general post-processing was done, but it all looked great. I was afraid that some photos might look over-edited or too stylized, but she made our photos look natural and timeless. We look forward to working with her again in the future. read more
