    Clearance
    Peter X.

My wife wanted to stop by this store before we were leaving Westfield Sherman Oaks mall. My wife been to the Northridge Mall location and Orange outlet Mall but never this one. When we walked inside, it looks like everything they had in the store was on clearance sale because the clearance signs were everywhere. Their jewlery here are very cheap already so this isn't like a luxury store. My wife likes their hair clips here and also their Christmas theme jewlery.

True, your prayers have come true -- therefore there's a new True Religion store next door for you,…read moreyour boo and Scooby Doo, too -- but who would go there when you can get the same ridiculously trendy (some might say played out) jeans on sale at 818 Freight next door -- a one-off store that's been at Sherman Oaks Fashion Square for years? Not you, sexy, that's for sure! Glide right past the entrance and the regularly priced merch, and home right in on the SALE shelf and racks. Honestly, at least a third of the store is on blowout sale at any given time, and if you're talented at wheedling, even regularly priced items will have a healthy percentage shaved off if your pleas come forth in the right key. Those $260 jeans suddenly only cost you $110, so now you can afford to invest in that high-yield stock portfolio you've always told yourself you'd add to your curriculum vitae. Or just buy some shoes, whatever. Right? The owner/manager is a sweet Asian woman who kind of looks mean but reveals her kindness whenever she asks you if you need help, and whenever she thoughtfully looks the other way when you realize girls' pants will fit you better than men's, if you're male but can talk with your hips and make the world come hither with your lips. The store's collection leans heavily toward young women but sways every now and then back to guys, so that there's something for everyone to add to their wardrobe. Button-up shirts with sequins and applique are available in case you're tired of being the only one of your friends who isn't living out his Entourage fantasy (btw - please say your fantasies aren't as douchey). T-shirts, too, of course, though honestly, the jeans are the only worthwhile men's item unless you want to dress like one of those people who drives a leased Audi and tells everyone that they're a music producer when they really pump yogurt for their rent money. For ladies, there's lots of dresses that will fit me. Er, you. You. So cute, and so stylish! There are hair accessories, too, but forget about buying your extensions here, because there are none. Grow it out, honey -- or buy them from a kiosk near Bloomingdale's on the other side of the mall. Oh, my good[bad]ness... These Miss Sixty's would SO fit, too. Is there any way I can cover up the "Miss" part? No? Okay, then. Get ready, world.

So I was excited to shop here at first because I had been in the one in Porter Ranch walked in…read moretwice. It looked like a yard sale gone wrong then I went in about two weeks ago. It was much better so I bought a dog crate bed and some sheets. The sheets were extremely disappointing because instead of having a top sheet fitted sheet and a pillowcase it had two pillowcases and a fitted sheet utterly stupid today I went to return them with a receipt that was on a debit card and it was beyond horrific. I think I would've been treated better in a Walmart and a ghetto than there first the cashier looks like she rolled out of bed 10 minutes ago didn't pressure her hair just for on whatever clothes she could find when her manager came over because it didn't say debit on the receipt so they were refusing to give me cash back. I said to her you might want to tell your girl to brush her hair so she doesn't look like she just rolled out of bed she goes you can't talk about anyone that way. I said I would be embarrassed that happened. I got told I was being horrendous. Rude disrespectful got called a whole bunch of names so then I called customer service for Burlington, which I was pleased to see if they would answer the phone on a holiday, but they said they would investigate it. That's not good enough. I'm insisting on a formal apologize apology from this woman named Cynthia. Who wasn't gonna help me from the start she actually ghosted me into acting not so nice but she wanted that and I didn't realize it until it was too late. You will not be respected by the employees in the store ever you will not be treated with kindness or any kind of professionalism whatsoever if you wanted to be treated like a piece of dirt under someone's shoe or worse go there.

Who says malls are dead? Apparently they have not been to Fashion Square because it was poppin!…read more I have not been to a mall in ages. Normally, they're just not my thing. I prefer shopping with individual merchants in my neighborhood. But eventually, we all have to take a trip to the Apple Store, or to a department store. It's inevitable. What I forgot about is how friendly all the merchants are. I parked at the wrong end of the mall and couldn't seem to find my bearing. All I had to do was ask any Merchant and they all directed me with a smile to where I needed to go. Even when I didn't buy anything from them. People were just very accommodating and happy. I guess malls are a happy place. Retail therapy is real. I can't speak much to value, because of course prices range from hide below, depending up on where you're going. I went to Bloomingdale's for lunch and then I went to H&M for jeans. High to low. I must say that everything is so convenient. I picked up things I didn't really intend to because I remember I needed them and I was there. All in all, I would say it was a great experience. I'll probably be going back to the mall again.

The stores could have better items and bargains!! It's not too many stores in here I like! But it's decent because of their Macys!! That's the best store in here in my opinion!!
