Where to start? 4 different auto glass companies including Safelite wanted between $360-400 for labor and install. I needed my entire windshield replaced. Had a chip and minor crack on my windshield, so I messaged Joe for a quote. I needed it fixed on the same day; walk-in accepted. After evaluated in person, turns out the chip size was too small, and since it was also close to the edge of the windshield, there was a risk with the repair. Joe was very honest about this situation, and explained that if the repair has to be carried out, the crack underneath the chip may extend beyond repairable, ruining the entire windshield (which would be very expensive to replace even for an aftermarket piece for my Make & Model). Joe did not sell me for an unnecessary replacement. Instead, he wanted me to fully understand the situation and let me make the final decision. After some hesitation and another opinion from their repair master, I gave them OK to work on it (the crack is going to extend anyway if not treated). In about 10 minutes, voila, the repair was done, and all I can see with my naked eyes is merely an insignificant, dirt-like mark on the windshield. The crack was totally GONE, or made totally invisible. I tried to examine at different angles, outside & inside. Still, I couldn't notice the crack anymore and I'm very happy about it. Joe told me that if I haven't had asked for a quote beforehand, this repair would be more expensive due to the type of windshield and glass. However, Joe still honored the same quote as he promised over Yelp message. I'm amazed. He even gave me an LED pen for free! What else to ask for? Their service, quality of work, and price are all beyond 5-Star! P.S. I previously did an online quote from Safelite Autoglass. Their price is like 3x of what Joe quoted.
