Never answer their phone or respond to online appointment request. I know they are busy but too busy to answer the phone?

Actually no stars would be better. I have elderly cats. Last year one needed to be put down. They have a two hour time frame for walkins. I had him out to sleep in goldfield because I had to go to my moms. Today, I was 5 minutes outside their time frame. Same thing. We can't help you. They used to be so good here. I can't stand them now. Where can i take my poor boy so he doesn't have to suffer? His sister is just about as bad but I don't have the $ to put two down. read more

These guys used to be great, loved the vet, took great care of my cats. Now they dont snswer the phone and finally after 3 days they finally answer and wont let you scheduled an appt. Will take my beloved animals somewhere else read more

We have been using this clinic and the sister clinic on Southeast 14th for over 30 years. They have treated us and especially our fur babies with the utmost care and respect. They have been there for us, helping us even in the end of our babies lives. There's just not enough space in here to describe what all these folks mean to us. We look forward to many more years with them. read more

Veterinarian is unprofessional and doesn't take accountability for her mistakes. I would never recommend the location on East 14th. The veterinarian was angry, yelling, and very aggressive it was so scary I left and took my pet to a different vet. read more

I walked in the door With my family pet of 15 yrs wrapped in a blankets and obviously not doing well, and the first thing the lady behind the counter (Nikki) said to me was do you have an appointment. I said no my uncle had called and was told walk-ins start at 7am. She then proceeded to argue with me that no one told him walk-ins start at 7am. I got my uncle on the phone after she tried to find his records in the computer and was unsuccessful even though this is where the dog has always gone. She then told me very rudely that they will not do anything for him since he was not in the system. That he had to of been seen there in the last year for them to see him. They didn't even get the door for me to leave while I had my Ill dog wrapped in a blanket in my arms. She was very unprofessional and lacked compassion and sympathy. This lady should not be working at a veterinary clinic at all. She shouldn't be working with the public for that matter. She was so rude. It was dishearting to have to carry my dog back to the car and get on the phone to find someplace that would see him today! I did however find a place that was wonderful and treated me and him right and with respect and I will be leaving them a great review. All seasons veterinary care in Polk City was wonderful and reasonably priced! read more

5 stars on eveything but 0 stars for returning calls and euthanizing. They are ALL very nice here but.....Don't take pet here to euthanize. Both shots shud be through IV. Not sure why they didn't. My first dog was with IV for both shots at another vet. I still here my pet screaming on 1st shot done locally in hind leg (2nd shot with meds through IV). I can't get her scream out of my ears. She was already dying...my poor baby was already suffering without that. read more

I love being able to take care of my 4 pup pups here because its just $35 for the office visit, then the cost of there meds if they need some! But jeez louise, $130 for flea meds an pills, I feel like they get better treatment then I do!! Wow!!! The clerks are quick and thorough! That makes it nice!! I was able to purchase a pet odor candle- smells like a bunch of oranges! No more wet pup smell! Yee ha!! They usually have physicians available till 430 and they are open on saturdays too. Closed sunday an Mondays tho! They will even give your pet a treat when finished. They are also selling treats by the pound!! Thats new!! read more

Kyle at the front desk does not care about the well being of animals at all!! I brought my cat there to be seen as a walk in. I put my name down and another women is behind me puts her name down next. They tell me to wait in my car until I get a phone call. while I'm waiting in my car I see the lady that walked in after me take her dog inside so I go inside and ask how long is it gonna be until I get called Kyle tells me 30-45 min. so I go up to the gas station a quarter of a mile away. Not even five minutes later he called me and I said oh I thought it was gonna be a lot longer. I'm right up the street. He said so you left? I said yes you told me it was gonna be 30 or 45 minutes. I wanted to get a soda. He proceeds to tell me that he's not going to see the cat today because I left the parking lot. I informed him nobody told me I couldn't leave the parking lot and there's no sign saying you can't leave the parking lot or anything of the sort. He refused to take the cat to be seen. As we are talking I'm pulling back into the parking because I was 1 min away go inside and over here him gossiping to the other workers about the situation. DONT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE read more

The front desk staff are rude and uncaring. This clinic seems to work on volume. Run 'em through as fast as they can. We took our dog there this week, as she was close to death. They made us wait for several other customers, including one who was getting their dog's nails clipped. After finally examining our dog they told us that they couldn't determine her problem or help us. Due to the seriousness of our dog's condition we ended up taking her to a different clinic, where they examined her and determined that she needed immediate emergency surgery. The other clinic saved her life. Spay Clinic might be cheap, but you get what you pay for. read more

0/5 starts. Improperly spayed my 4-5 month old female german Shepard. Still was bleeding and spotting around the house. Took her back to see what's wrong. Misdiagnosed her with a UTI. Few months later still spotting around the house. Took her to better vet to find out she still had part of her ovary in there from the Spay we paid for year and half ago. So put my pup in too much pain and suffering. read more

Very disappointed in the staff. I moved to the neighborhood and was looking for a vet close, needless to say I will be more than willing to drive the 30 minutes to see our old vet. I have two dogs and one is very friendly and the other is very shy around new people and I told them this ahead of time. I warned them he probably wouldn't go with just them. I put the muzzle on him for them and walked him to the door, he was very scared and reluctant to go in. They brought him out when he was done and I went inside to pay to hear the staff talking badly about my dog and how he was under socialized which could not be farther from the truth. He's a chow and just not sure about new people and doesn't do well in a fast paced environment. I get they see a lot of different seniors as it's a low cost clinic but at least wait to talk badly about someone or their animal until they aren't in the building. The receptionist was very friendly however. read more

The low spayed clinic is an wonderful pet clinic. Our last three dogs have received excellent care there! The staff is caring, compassionate and well trained. Our dog is 13 years old and temperamental. Ms. Jade always does well with the team! The prices are what brought us to the clinic 25 years ago. However, it's the staff that keeps us coming back! The prices are wonderful yes and the nurse staff are wonderful. Which is good because it makes up for the vet that I have seen there. She doesn't seem to truly care about the animals coming in to see her. At first I thought maybe I caught her on a bad day, no she's like this every time. It's unfortunate really. read more

We have used the spay Clinic several times and continue to go back because of the excellent care. Unfortunately it is early on a Saturday morning and we will be getting ready to leave so we can be there at 7am as they do not do appointments on Saturday so it is first come first serve. My baby has had diarrhea since yesterday. I have made him some well rinsed hamburger with some rice but last night it just went right through him. He is drinking water but I'm assuming that he might have picked up a parasite. I hate it when he does not feel good as I know that he can't talk and can't control what happens. He is my baby and I love him to death. read more

I called about vaccinations & spaying my two 13mo dogs and was told I wud need to first come as a "walkin" (35.00 consultation) to get the price for spaying, and I was advised what booster vaccines I still needed, as well as rabies. I had neutered my cat there years ago and the staff were all so wonderful so I expected the dogs would get the same treatment at the clinic. I got called to an exam room by a dark red haired lady who seemed to be hurried and did not introduce herself, say hello to me or my little dogs. She had several ampules of shots in her hand, and asked me " So, what are you here for today?". I told her I wanted my dogs spayed and wanted to know the cost. I also told her I understood they need to first be up-to-date on vaccinations, but that I'm a little concerned about vaccinations all at once on little dogs. So she asks again "so what can we do for you today". I started telling her my biggest concern is the littlest dog, that if I had to come back every day I would to space out her shots so it wouldn't be so hard on her (5lb poodle mix) but this lady snapped back the names of all the required shots like it didn't matter that I had concerns at all. I asked her why she was talking to me that way, but she said said she wasn't doing anything wrong. I told her how I didn't understand why she was not being very friendly at all, and her attitude made me not want my dogs to get any services there. She then said that by law I could NOT LEAVE THE CLINIC UNTIL BOTH DOGS WERE VACCINATED FOR RABIES. Well I understand the mandatory rabies Iowa law, but there is no law she can retain me when I choose to go elsewhere. I decided to leave, and simply asked her name. She would not give it to me. When I asked again, she said she'd have to get her boss. I heard her walk down the hall saying loudly that I had "FREAKED OUT' on her ...that is not true-I talked softly to her . I simply chose not to proceed with any services because this woman had ZERO customer connection, was obviously annoyed, even her initial contact point was snippy. Now tell me, would anybody reading this choose to let this woman do anything to their beloved pets? I doubt the Dr s at this clinic are that way, but I never had the chance to get past this woman so I'm taking the time to write this up so maybe it wont happen again. read more

I love the fact that they don't charge a ridiculous office visit fee just for having an appointment like most vets do. Their walk in policy is awesome as well as their reasonable prices! The staff is friendly and they get things done pretty quickly. I have gone to them for the past 2 years and will continue to do so as long as I live in the area :) read more

I had my cat spayed at the clinic and it went well. I was able to drop her off at 6AM so I wasn't late for work and could pick her up that same day. The cost was very reasonable and even included a pain injection. She was very sleepy that night but the next day she acted like nothing had happened! read more
