I show up Saturday at 3pm and sure enough the doors are locked. Beyond this it's been impossible to get a receipt for billing purposes. Extremely frustrating every visit I've had with this place.

Family member has been in this Hospital since yesterday morning which is now almost 36 hours ago…read more The family member went into the hospital for possible internal bleeding. The patient was admitted but has yet to see the gastroenterologist who is the one that can determine what test are needed. Whether it be a endoscopy or a colonoscopy or just monitoring but the blood work. Waiting for 36 hours to see a doctor is way too long. Overnight family member vomited but got no help with being cleaned up. A person who works with family member came in early this morning and helped do the clean up. This is so wrong. Nursing staff or should have been more attentive to the needs of family member. I will update this review as time progresses but right now this Hospital gets a zero out of 10. Spent the next two days at the hospital and have yet to see or meet the Gastro Dr., have been continously told by staff that he would be in, yesterday it was even a specific time frame, we postponed going to lunch so we would not miss his visit. Surprise surprise the Doctor was a no show again, this sucks. Turns out the procedure would be done the next morning (today), wrong now tentatively scheduled for this afternoon 1:30. This continues to suck family member has had nothing but liquids by mouth and IV fluids.for almost 4 days. Has to be a better option!!

Sure enough, she was right, and with a prescription, this was a quick and easy housecall. She accepted a credit card through Square, but would have also accepted a check. She said she was only here in Bethany Beach during summer months, so we lucked out there. If we lived closer to her office in NW DC, we would consider her for a family doctor. It was so nice to deal with a down to earth doctor who was not rushed and had great people skills. As promised, she sent an invoice about a week later so that I could file for health insurance reimbursement.

They also reliably followed-up with the result of tests done. The registration by phone was also simple enough. The one part that was fine but maybe not 100% was the initial reception. For one, not long before we got there, I called ahead and was told the wait time was at least 40 minutes. I get there 20 minutes later and the waiting room is completely empty, which is a good thing but I don't know why they made it seem like they were busy. I parked right in front at a designated spot and text the number on the sign. I completed the registration by phone. But when I went inside I got a cold reception. I said we were there for my daughter's appointment and then got softly reprimanded for having checked into the wrong Atracare location. Except I followed the instructions right on the sign at the designated parking space, so if that went to another location that's Atracare's doing. It's never ideal when you're walking in with a sick kiddo and getting a cold, scoldy reception. Fortunately things picked up from there. I'm not local to any Atracare but I would go back if I needed medical care in the area. I was really happy with the medical staff, the electronic registration procedures, the wait time, and the cleanliness of the clinical area.
