Been shopping here since 2016, and only recently with the addition of some young long-haired dude in the Garden center has customer service declined. Dude couldn't figure out how to apply a discount, so he told me to fix it online. Dude also failed to provide a price check when asked, and instead pushed the sale forward and told me AFTER. Lazy or incompetent? I don't know, but the dude needs to be replaced. read more

It's hard to give a 5-star review to a store where there is rarely anyone available to help you. I haven't been here very many times since I've been in town, maybe three or four, but every time I've had pretty much the same experience. I get lots of exercise walking all over the place looking for someone to help me. Once I find someone they're usually very nice about helping me but it's difficult finding someone in the first place that isn't busy with someone else or just walking by without making contact with you when you need a question answered of where to find something. This most recent visit a couple days ago I asked three different people where something was or if they carried it. Finally the third person told me the aisle I could look in and lo and behold I found it on my own and it was only $2! Online it would have been $10. They're also one of the few stores that sells cute little lavender flashlights. And on this most recent trip they had excessive amounts of hand sanitizers, antibacterial wipes, antibacterial soap, toilet paper, Etc which stores have been out of four months and usually sell out as soon as they come in. It was early evening by the time I got here so I was very pleased to find such a good Supply and bought about three items. So, if I come here I just have to make up my mind that I'm coming for the exercise and the walking. Too bad my current phone doesn't tell me how many steps I walk per day like my old phone used to. read more

I read some bad reviews... mostly saying that there are never any employees there to help you... we didn't find that to be true at all. There were 2 helpful employees (at least) helping us find what we needed, and one fellow went above and beyond. If not for him, I would have given 3 stars instead of 4, because they only had 1/2 the items that we needed. We were told that we would have to order on line. We like to see what we are buying, and not just a picture. Oh, well. It's 2020, after all. The future of retail. Ugh. read more

Went in store to find items for a bathroom remodel. Wrote down all item numbers of products. Paid for items for pickup at later date. Cashier was clueless about this process and rang up the items in a wrong way which did not put these items on my account. I called them next day to check on this order because something felt wrong. Sure enough, they had not record of my order and not items were being pulled. Requested to talk to the manager. Told him the problem and explained my frustration, had I not called there would be nothing there to pick up on the day I needed the items. He said he would check. For some reason I felt he was being disingenuous so I asked for his name. He told me his name was Justin. I asked twice if Justin was his name, even asked "Justin with a J?" He said yes. He said he would call me back. I waited 20 minutes and I called back. I had a feeling I wasent going to get a call. I asked the operator for Justin, the manager. I spoke to. She said there is no Justin! But there was a Jessie. She paged Jessie which took about 5 minutes. Jessie got on the phone. He denied telling me his name was Justin... "What ever, just pull my order. I'll be there in 1hr." He then tells me it won't be done until tomorrow. I said again, I will be there in an hour. 1 hour later I arrive and Jessie/Justin has gone home and I talk to a new manager. Nothing had been pulled. So I sit and wait while the items are pulled. Only thanks to a manager named Tyrel who got the order pulled and listened to my complaints I was able to leave with my order. 5 stars for Tyrel, 1 star for Justin/Jessie. Won't be buying anything of significance from this Lowes again. read more

As a rule, I have no problem with Lowe's, However, I will probably doublethink a major appliance purchase. Refrigerator went out...and immediately went there for a new one. Got what I thought was a good deal on a Samsung. The problem came with the delivery. The delivery man took almost an hour and a half to swap the door to open left side. His attitude left MUCH to be desired. Very rude, and I felt like he talked down to me when I asked him things. This of course put ME on the defensive. Several weeks later, I heard something rubbing when I opened the door and they sent the SAME man back after I'd requested someone new. This time someone else came with him. The man with him immediately saw what the problem was. AGAIN...the original delivery man was very rude. Pretty much done with Lowe's for major purchases. They need to be more particular in the people they hire to come into your home and represent them. read more

I love Lowe's !!! Until the last few visits I takes forever to checkout but I deal with it . Today I was gonna purchase a $498.00 tool box and other items . Associates everywhere at 6:40 pm but only 1 register open no self checkouts open. So I asked if they could get some help. Didn't work so I called the store and spoke with the front end manager that was in the office while the line for the one open register was all the way back to the key making area. Will not use this Loews ever again. We'll use the Loews on Coulter. Young sales man was very kind but the manager not so much. He was very unwilling to sell the last 2 chairs available unlike the other Loews who would if they still had them. Inconsistent with store "reasons" to why he couldn't. Sorry but one Loews on one side of town is not going to have a different sell policy. I'll Too bad: Lost a big sell and any future business from our household. read more

I purchased flooring for our church nursery. It cost $7000 and they wanted it all up front. After being assured the job would be done right and timely, I gave them the $7000 and signed a contract for the floors to be installed and the job completed in 5 days (as we wanted it done before church). They came the day after Christmas and after 5 days said they could not finish in time. They would come back and do the grout on Monday. Because there was nothing I could do about it I said fine and re-emphasized the grout was to be dark brown or black as it was a dark wood tile floor. When I came in on Monday night I found the entire floor with white grout. I contacted the store and it took them 3 weeks to decide how to fix it then took them another 21 days to get the supplies. When the supplies finally came in they hadn't ordered enough and it took another 4 days. On top of this the clerk continued to tell me I should not be complaining because Lowes was paying for staining the grout. I could not understand why they thought I should pay for their mistake. I talked to the store manager who assured me he would get back to me and I have yet to hear from him. I will never shop at lowes again!! A job that was to take 5 days took two months, they took all my money up front, and then treated me very very rudely. I have not heard from them since the installers left. Very bad experience!
