Bad customer service. It started as I tried to walk into the store. I was pushing a cart along cement pathway to main doors to enter store and the Rino gas tank service technician would not stop loading his gas tanks for one second to let me pass. I had already dumped my cart thinking he would just let me pass easily. Instead I stood within a foot of him as he continued to load 5 more gas tanks into the racks. When he finished unloading his tray of tanks he told me to take a different route. I went to the customer service desk to pick up an internet order. The email I received from Lowe's indicated I should present my ID. I did that and the rep said she needed the order number from the email. It took me 4 seconds to pull up the email but she had already left me to go help the person behind me in line. read more

I bought a storage system for my garage and thought something was missing from the box. I went into the store and they took the "missing" parts out of another box and gave them to me. They also refunded in full and the sold me the same item but at the discounted price that had just gone into effect. Two days later I discovered the "missing" parts had gotten up under a cabinet in the garage and I took them back to the store to be placed in the box that was going to be returned to the manufacturer. They took in the parts and thanked me. No hassle, no stress, just good service. read more

I want to give this place a 2 but I'm giving it three because Tim was a great help (flooring department) This place has very few employees and none that wants to do their job and help customers. I asked a question to an older man he said he will help me but ran off and left another woman to help me. She spoke to my boyfriend and I like we were idiots because we didn't know anything about cement paint. I told her I will take a call so I can make sure of something but she practically ran away and hid because I never saw her again. Will not return I will drive further to another Lowe's. read more

Worst experience ever. Bought new $1700 washer/dryer, washer was defective, contacted store 20 min after delivery guys left and informed them of defective product, told by alledged deptmnt manager Dan it would be 7-10 to swap for working washer. I stated that was not OK. Filed multiple complaints with corp. Never heard from store manager (TG) as per info given by corp CSR. Given a date for pick up but no time frame, left waiting all day for pick up of defective merchandise. No call or info ever relayed from store. Horrible experience! I will shop Sears or Home Depot. Corp customer service speaks as though they have a great deal of influence, Not so. read more

After renting a carpet cleaner, I took it home and found it was dirty. It left clumps of stuff on my carpet from the very beginning. When I returned it, they told me I hadn't cleaned it well enough and charged ME $15. TICKED OFF. I told them it was dirty when I got it, they shrugged and stole my money. FYI: Rug doctor rentals from Publix or Home Depot clean the machines for their customers and is about the same price. I won't make that mistake again!! read more

Worse shopping experience In my life(I'm 57) - bought $3500 dollars worth of furniture, Pergola, pavers, rocks, plants, etc all good until we tried checking out w/my Lowes card. Card got declined. Weird I don't mail payment/checks or pay on line I make payments in the store I'm buying from & made a payment less then a week ago..paid w/cash I'm looking at receipt in my hand??? I KNOW the account is at zero, worse yet no 5% Lowes card discount woman tells me that I can go to Customer service and they can refund everything and recharge and apply the discount...sounds like an all day event..SMDH REALLY?... Gets better - Now all of a sudden they didn't have everything so ONE delivery was out of question, but the additional loveseat and table that was in stock that isn't anymore will take less then a week to get & I'm informed that we would get phone call day B4 delivery NOPE..no call. 1st Delivery came w/some damaged merchandise & then they strung out one delivery to 3 each time told there would be a ph call day B4 delivery NOPE NO CALLS EVER...on one occasion told "We aren't on the manifest, no delivery" several times told they couldn't find our order.....WTH?? Oh BTW TEN DAYS Later without a single call from Lowes I went to store to find out WHY My love seat & table still wasn't delivered? One delivery that did arrive (W/O prior phone promised) came at 730PM while we were eating dinner Folks this is only a small part of ALL the BS, lies and excuses we were giving over a 4-5 week period dozens of calls & trips to the store, spent HOURS on most of these trips waiting in line watching one employee hand the receipt to another shaking their heads....."Just a minute"............Woefully INCOMPETENT Carol in bath( month B4 trying to purchase shower doors..OMG), Shawn mgr, Brandy (hung up on my wife 2X's) Heather which loud belches out she's an ASM. (her mother must be proud) and there's more the ONLY person we found that tried to resolve the many problems was LIZ, we felt very good at her effort to resolve all the issues w/o scratching her head she explained what had happened, why we didn't get everything & arranged to get the MIA balance delivered & handed me some of the replacement merchandise that got damaged on the truck but everything she promised didn't happen either and when we explained that Liz told us this & that Shawn said "She would have a talking to" for making us promises WTH for helping resolve a problem???? Beyond all this unnecessary stress & stupidity NEVER a "I'm Sorry" not once...SMDH??? Go to Home Depot, Walmart, ACE ANYWHERE these people don't deserve your money, worse yet for LOWES we called their customer service complaint line and they give you the standard Q Card responses tell you they will get some higher up involved & then they have the idiots at the store call us back and ask "What Happened"..... "What can we do for you? Bought a washer from this location. Salesman was good- no complaints there. delivery was a nightmare! This location uses Schneider (Schneider.com) for delivery. Worst customer service. Delivery was scheduled between 10-2 the next day with a 30 minute call ahead. At 2:30, I called Schneider because we had no received the washer. Now they said I was the last stop at 6pm. At 6:30 I called the delivery company and they said that it was delivered. I told them that was not true and that I was still waiting for delivery. They called me back a half an hour later and said delivery guys returned the washer back to the store because they ran out of time. Schneider promised me delivery on Monday first thing at 8 am. Received a text on Sunday confirming delivery between 8-12 on Monday. At 9:30 am I call the delivery company and was told now that I was the last delivery at 7 pm. Talked to Mark and Scott ( the manager of logistics) and received the worst customer service. No help at all. Lowe's was even worse. Finally found a rep- Brianna- that made sure the delivery guys would deliver the washer before going home. I will never buy an appliance from the Lowe's again as long as the use Schneider for delivery! Cost me time and money. read more

Horrible customer service! I called and tried to get directed to lumber and first got hing up on 2 times. Then the third time I called I asked to speak to the manager of lumber got sent in back and forth between 2 customer service girls 3 times who eventually hung up on me. If I could give this Lowe's negative stars I would. They were of absolutely zero help and need to train their staff better. read more

We've been shopping at this Lowe's a few time. So today me and my mom happen to be looking for a power washer, So I see this guy "Loren" that works there and I went up to him asking where to I find the power washer. He tells me he's with another customer that was an elderly man and tells me to wait, I told him just point us to the Isle where the Power Washer was, it would only just take a second. So Loren just walked away with the elderly customer. I told my mom this guy Loren was totally rude, won't even point me to the direction I needed. So this elderly man decided to spat some racist comment towards my mom. We are Asian so he tells us go back to where ever we came from. I can't believe we were talked to this way by another customer. Seems Loren is just as rude like this customer look at us like we should be kicked out of the store, So he said he was going to call someone name Justin maybe that's his manager? Anyways we just ignored this ignorant elderly man and Loren and proceed to find the power washer ourselves. We did buy the product without any help for $319. Right now I'm thinking I might have made a mistake spending any of our $ here ever again. I think I will return the merchandise and go to Home Depot instead. We've bought Refrigerator, Lighting, Light Bulbs, and a lot of items here before. I think we will not go back to this store ever again. I would have given this place 5 stars but after what happened today 1 stars is what I will give this place. We were shopping at Walmart earlier today and my mom is 76 years old walking with a cane, she can't stand for a long period of time. I went to Lowe's recently and ordered a Samsung Refrigerator. It was delivered a few days later and the delivery driver who came out, apparently did not know how to or realize that he had too, turn it on, even after I told him it said "OFF". He left me with a refrigerator not working, he said to call the store in a few hours if it did not get cold. I waited until about 6 PM and then called the store in a bit of a cranky mood. I asked for and got the Manager on duty - Mike. He said they generally did not send people back to fix refrigerators contrary to what the delivery driver said. I told him my refrigerator was not working and I was pissed. He told me he would have someone call me first thing the next morning and make arrangements to order a new one and if necessary give me a loaner while I waited for it to come. Considering the spot I was in it sounded reasonable, but, I did not believe him. I hung up and called Lowe's corporate who told me they would have someone look into it. I was pretty angry and thinking evil thoughts about Lowe's. BUT, at 8 am the next morning I got a call from the store and they said a truck was enroute with a replacement fridge and they would order the new one. Excellent customer service. My mood darkened a bit when I saw the same two delivery guys heading up my driveway. I met them and said "you left me with a broken refrigerator!" The driver apologized and said the fridge was not broke, he had just not realized he needed to turn it "ON", once he did it came to life and started working immediately. I was very pleased and the two delivery men apologized profusely. I was ok with it, they accepted responsibility and Lowe's stood behind the product. I will alway's shop Lowes for appliances. read more

They really don't care. If you're lucky you may get someone to help you. If your really lucky they might know what they're talking about. The red vest employees are actually best at not making eye contact if they think you may need help. I waited 15 minutes to have a piece of lumber from a skid which had other items stacked on top. It took a fork lift in order to get one piece of wood. Then, I stood at the saw to have the long piece cut per their stated customer service. After almost 10 minutes waiting by the saw, not seeing an employee to request the cut, along came a big red shirt Lowly with another customer. He proceeded to set up the saw to cut the other guy's piece. When I informed him that I first waited 15 minutes for the board and another 10 minutes by the saw to get it cut he made no move to help me. The other customer, seeing that I was first, told the Lowly to do mine. By this time I had all I could take from Lowe's service. I crammed the 8 ft. piece into my car. honestly, it's hit or miss at any retail store when it comes to finding someone on the floor who cares or gives a hoot about helping you! this Lowe's more than 70% of the time I've been there has always helped me find what I need and/or help me fix what I broke at the house. hehe. garden center is always kept nice and fresh. inside is just as organized and clean. most of the time I use self check out for convenience, plus I'm usually just getting one item. but there's the rare occasion I'm getting more than I walked in for and wait for a cashier, which still never takes as long as a grocery clerk, so CHILL out people behind me! read more

Lowe's on 52nd in Bradenton Florida sold us a refrigerator on Saturday and delivered on Sunday May 14th, 2012. The delivery drivers distracted my elderly father while they were there with a clean up of some spilled tea. Once they left, his brand new ipad with charger was missing from a table. After searching and verifying that it was gone, we contacted the store and the police. The management has done nothing. Would not question the drivers and denied the claims completely. What is horrible about this, is that this guy is working and going to other customers homes today! Lowe's doesn't care about the customer's safety. We have found the Ipad across town from it's ping and are reporting it to the police today. DO NOT SHOP at Lowe's for anything ever! read more

We bought a set of appliances (5 pieces) including fridge(Samsung) and dishwasher(Bosch) with extended warranty in 2012. In 2013 my stainless-steel fridge's door started to rust in multiple places (10-20 different spots). We called Lowes, after some long waits we convinced them to exchange the fridge (took a few months). They did exchange the fridge but said you would not have extended warranty on this new fridge as you used it for the exchange. Although it did not make sense to us, we accepted it. Since then there have not had any problem with the fridge. It was 4 months ago, our dishwasher started to not to wash dishes as well as it used to. All the dishes started to come out really dirty. We called Lowes and we set up an appointment, a guy came in a month to evaluate the problem and then setup another appointment to replace a part after another 2 weeks. He came and replaced the part, which did not fix the issue. He said he would call us to come back and fix it again, but never came back. After 2-3 weeks, we called Lowes they sent another guy (Bosch service guy) he came and evaluated the problem and said he would come with parts in 2-3 weeks to fixed it, he came with no parts. He said 2 of 3 parts were back ordered, 3rd part came but it is not the right part. He mentioned he would come back in 2 weeks and fix it. Last week he came to change a part, but he could not find the part in the service vehicle, and said he would came back for yesterday, he never called us and never showed up either. Long story short, we have paid extended warranty for it, our machine is still under warranty, we have been trying to get it fixed for about 4 months, but it has never been fixed. We use this machine every day as we have kids in our house. This was one of the worst experience of my life, when you combine it with our earlier experience with the same company there is a pattern here, sorry to say that but that is the truth. read more
