I had a wonderful experience with this store and I love my cabinets! They were very helpful with the design and the final result is exactly what I was looking for. A prior review said the cabinets didn't come in near the date promised. I didn't experience that but also know that deliver is out of their control. Also, these are quality ALL WOOD cabinets! People who have seen mine remark how well made they are. What a bargain for the price. Terrible experience. I hired Cabinets to Go to install kitchen cabinets in a rental unit. I purchased upgraded cabinets at a premium price. The installers left me with a mess. One of the drawer glides was not installed, one of the drawers was not installed on the glide, one of the drawers came apart, one of the shelves was not installed. I tried 3 times by email and telephone to get Cabinets to Go to come back and repair their unfinished mess. No response. I had to hire another cabinet company to come and finish the job, it cost me an additional $300.00. I would NEVER use Cabinets to Go. Terrible workmanship and terrible customer service. read more

****UPDATE**** Tomorrow will be a WEEK since your people have told me they issued a refund on April 15th. I HAVE NOT received a refund to date and i have contacted my credit card company multiple times and there is nothing pending. They told me i would get a notification on my account if Cabinets to Go has issued a refund. This has gone far too long with not getting my money back in a reasonable time and the store manager only tells me its up to my credit card company. I have had other refunds over the past couple days to include on a holiday and i got immediate notification of a pending refund. Why cant i get my money back from Cabinets to Go. This has been an extremely terrible experience from a place and never in my life had to wait this long for a refund and would ever recommend this company to anyone. My husband and i were in the store back on Feb 15th. We ordered 3 bathroom vanities, paid for them and also paid $99 for someone to come out and verify measurements for install. Fast forward to March 3rd, I texted Michael, who is the salesman that helped us throughout the sale and confirmed that we are ready for install the week of April 14th. He also confirmed back in text the week of April 14th. Fast forward to April 13th, which is a Sunday, i haven't heard from Michael or anyone for that matter from Cabinets to Go regarding what day they were coming during the week of the 14th, so i placed a call and had to leave a message as he was off. I then called on Monday, April 15th to speak with Michael and explain that we are ready and i hadn't heard anything and we confirmed for this week and i expressed hoping for the 18th, 19th or the 21st at the latest because i go on vacation next week and he then says " I don't see a text message" about that. I said well i have it on my phone still and you confirmed and he said i will call the installers and get back to you. I never heard back from him the remaining of the day and here it is Tuesday afternoon and still nothing so i placed ANOTHER call to follow up only to be told that i am not getting cabinets because there is a Docusign that was never signed and they cant release the sale until its signed. What in the actual F*CK? Why in the hell did it take OVER a month for you to tell me something needs to be signed after we have already 1. placed the order in store and paid and got all the paperwork and 2. confirmed a scheduled week over a month ago? This is not acceptable business practice and i asked to speak to a manager. Daniel the "manager" gets on the phone and was no help what so ever and probably the most useless person ever and just said well we cant do anything until we get a docusign and then what? Wait weeks again? This has got the be the worst company and customer service i have ever dealt with and i am in the customer service business myself. Sad sad. read more

We had Cabinets To Go install built-in bookcases on a 14 x 10' wall. They turned out beautifully. This is not a normal product for them as they mostly do kitchens. However,Matthew Charland our designer was able to craft a beautiful design using upper kitchen cabinets as a base and then shelves and panels above to complete a very smart design for a cost that was much more economical than we were quoted elsewhere for this type of project. John Silva was the installer and he was very easy to work with and very professional. He is definitely an accomplished woodworker. read more

We received a quote from Cabinets to Go in Sarasota. The quote was for $5000 more than we had expected. After we brought this to our salesman's attention, and reminded him of the 40% off he said we'd receive, he said he'd correct it. So we placed the order and noticed the drawer and cabinet knobs were not included when we received the order. Another call was placed. The salesman's reply was, "you told me you wanted the price lowered!!" We were not happy with him or his attitude. In order to receive the knobs in time for our contractors to install them, we had to go to a different source. Thank goodness we did!! We got them for 75% less than what out salesman quoted us. I purchased the Mailbu White line of cabinets earlier this year (2022). Unfortunately, my house was flooded from Hurricane Ian and I lost the base cabinet doors (they are MDF). I was told that "since the damage was not caused by a manufacturer defect or normal wear/tear, our customer care team cannot file a warranty claim either". I am extremely disappointed with this, and I was only offered to purchase new base cabinets. Due to this, I am unable to recommend Cabinets to Go anymore. Sure, the initial consultation was good, and the product is good, but the customer care or support on the rear end after purchase is very poor. EDIT: I was in contact with corporate after they commented on my review. Gloria ordered new doors for me, and had them delivered to the original store where I purchased my cabinets. Gloria gave me the ability to purchase new doors, and that was all I originally wanted. Thank you Gloria! read more

I very rarely give a 5 star rating. But these guys deserve it. Let me start out by saying that I was a residential general contractor for 17 years. We ordered a few pantry, base and wall cabinets. We had the units installed by the independent guys that they set up for us. I am very happy with the quality of the all wood cabinets. On August 3, 2022 I ordered cabinets from Cabinets To Go. Today is November 26, 2022 (14+ weeks) and my kitchen is still not don. This is unacceptable when they said it would only take 2-3 days for installation. I've called and went to the store to get my issues resolved. The salesman never returned a call nor the sales manager. Buy your cabinet else where and save yourself the grief. The installers used a drill bit into the wall to find studs instead of using a stud finder. I had to patch the holes because I was afraid it wouldn't clear the backsplash... read more

Yikes... this company has gone downhill big time. The woman that helped us if you can call it that. Her name was Becky. Stay far far far away from her if you go here: The rest of the folks here are great with a great attitude. Her not so much. I merely came here with a year or two old transition strip and you can tell she didn't want to help from the beginning. She said nope we don't carry that anymore I said your right and I understand that but we called another cabinets to go and they called the supplier and we can still order anything we need. She argued, saying oh who called, oh who said that, and was very confrontational. I said do you have a manager here and she smiled and said oh we don't have managers here anymore. She turned around, laughed at me, and shook her head in disgust. Another employee came out to help her do her job because she was clearly lacking and helped as well as a gentleman and he was awesome and very polite. Needless to say she had to be taught how to do her job/ I'm not talking about not knowing how to order the part, but more so on lacking significant customer service skills in a customer service job. You e been warned. If you go in there see anybody but her. What a shame on the company to have that be the front face of the company. Really sad. I feel bad for the people who raised her. read more

Don't don't don't do business with these people. I understand that with the virus things take longer...ordered in Nov...got them in March. Becky kept telling me they were one cabinet short so i have to keep putting off my contractor which put me out 6 weeks every time i had to reschedule. Becky told me on a Friday cabinet would not be in for at least another 2 weeks since they won't be having a truck for then.. James called me on Sunday and told me it was in...lack of communication within and with customers is a nightmare and they can't seem to keep help and I do understand why. so my cabinets came in, contractor picked them up, got to my house and told me they are all unassembled. I was furious as no one told me and i dealt with 3 people(communication) my contractor said he did not fir that in his schedule but he would put 1 together to see how it goes..cam locks were put on backwards, 2 of them were lifting and the front was scratched. I called the store and Becky said to bring them back and i could talk to James..loaded up the car, woman from the Tampa store who was working said James had the day off(communication) to come back tomorrow...i said i don't think so. took them in the back to their garage and out of my car and stood them up against the wall in the doorway. the woman threw them on the floor one at a time and kicked them into the building. When i spoke with James he said he came in and the boxes were all strewn across the floor from me and i told him it was his woman that did that and that i have a video on my phone. he shut right up. Anyway, James is rude and a total airhead and nothing is about the customer. He said he had to speak to his manager and I got a credit this morning minus $400 restocking fee...I am livid and will fight this until I can't fight any longer. I got a restocking fee: who I am witness to them throwing cabinets on the floor on return. I have filed a dispute with my CC company and if that doesn't work it will be small claims court. they kiss ass as long as things go their way but if you disagree watch out for the attitude which I saw quite a few times! I called James' manager Bean(or whatever) and he is not returning my calls...but why should he? I have a letter from my contractor and a video of the return...the woman actually told me to take it on proof of return...didn't expect the extra plus of the cabinets being thrown around..and pictures of the damaged cabinets...so bring it on! you can see in the picture..connectors are backwards...scratch in wood...chunks missing around connectors read more

I have used Cabinets to go on a number of projects. The quality of materials is top shelf, the cabinets are simple to assemble, and the staff is great to work with. I have mostly worked with Becky in the Sarasota store, but when she was not available, other staff members (Michelle helped yesterday, and I think the man's name is John) have been able to open the file and answer any questions. Customer service is not in the vocabulary of this store. Cabinets not available any where near the date promised. Waited over 40 days from promised date for some of the cabinets. Never enough workers in the store, so going in with a question on your order can be painful. Waited over 7 MONTHS for replacement parts, with stories that did not add up. The cabinets are not bad for the price, expect fillers, and no specialty cabinets. We used them for our laundry area so okay. My advice, go to a local company that believes in customer service. read more

If you are looking for customer service, go anywhere else. I purchased cabinets and a countertop. I paid in full. I picked up the cabinets easily enough but when I was ready for my countertops, a month later, they were nowhere to be found. After many phone calls, it turns out that the salesperson who sold me the countertop quit and never put my order in. I never received an apology. In fact, I was spoken to like I was a common criminal. As though it were my fault that I was upset that my countertop was still at customs even though I had paid for it months before. Bob (Designer) and James (Store Manager) were the team to see the project through to completion. Their knowledge and assistance has been truly appreciated since most of the work has been done over the phone. Terrible. Had our kitchen installed in the beginning of November, they sent us a defective drawer and here it is mid February and we have still not received the drawer so our kitchen is incomplete and they don't even have an estimated time frame as to when we will get the replacement. read more

We had CTG measure for us (we were refunded the $100 charge when we ordered) and my contractors said:​ "This is the best, most accurate layout scheme I've seen in 40 years." So good job guys. After a horrible experience with the big orange big box stores cabinets, we took our business to cabinets to go. The whole team was great from start to finish. Matthew prepared our order, gave us time to review and make our decision. James answered all my follow-up questions bin Matthews absence a few days later. My wife and I decided to make the purchase. John helped load everything into our truck, when everything was ready for pickup from store the following Saturday. Exactly as promised. The packaging of the cabinets is pretty impressive. A few items had minor blemishes or damage (hence knocking down a star)but it was so minor, we decided not to trade it off in waiting for replacement. Over all, for the price, the cabinets are of FAR superior quality to basic cabinets from big Orange Home Improvement. The soft close is awesome. Drawers are very solid (had a few chipped dove tails, I glued back on, but no one will ever know using the cabinets). Overall look is great. We purchased the Aspen White line. The doors are finished very well. I wish the boxes (facia as well as sides) had an extra coating of paint... I must say we are very pleased, and most importantly-given the opportunity, I would definitely do business with this store again. They are good people and offer a very competitive product. read more

We are seasonal residents from Michigan but own and have rehabbed a condo in Bradenton over recent months. We chose Cabinets to Go in Sarasota, FL for the kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities. They had a style we liked in the color we liked and the price was reasonable. From the time we took delivery we had problems. First, not all the cabinets arrived. The ones that arrived were damaged and/or pieces were missing. Trying to get the damaged/missing ones replaced was a huge headache. Cabinets to Go sent one shipment of parts and pieces to Michigan although we were very clear we were in FL. Our rehab project was delayed by several months because of the problems getting cabinets. Their customer service at the toll free number is hard to deal with and the people in Sarasota are no help at all. They just refer you to the toll free number. All in all, a terrible experience. I would only recommend this company to someone I no longer wanted as a friend! read more

First I would like to note that despite all the negative comments around the country for Cabinets to Go, I actually had a good experience. YES, they have limited staff and YES they can seem overworked at times and have more than they can handle for business. Initially I was worried about buying my cabinets from CTG because of the mixed reviews (and these days, that's all we have to go by). Fortunately, everything went smooth. They called letting me know my order was in and I only had to wait about 5-6 weeks. When I picked up my order, they walked me through assembly and how to avoid potential mistakes. The nice warehouse guy helped me load my order and I was gone! Overall, I have to say the product is great! All wood construction with soft close drawers for a great price compared to other companies can't be beat. I can say this, because I priced the competition. For those who have had a rough go with this company, I get it, we've all been there. It's probably a mixed bag. However, the reality is how many of us are willing to leave a good comment after good service? I would bet for every bad experience, there are many great stories left untold. In the end, it's your choice. If you have a flexible timeline and need a great cabinet at a great price it might be worth stopoing in. read more
