I'm not sure why this Lowe's gets such low marks. It's a pretty typical Lowe's. Big selection. Well organized. Generally decent prices. I didn't deal with any staff during my quick visit so can't speak to service. All in all just fine. The few negatives for me have to do with getting there, and that doesn't impact how good the actual business is. There's a lot of construction at 70 and Brice, and then it's not real clear where to turn into Lowe's. There are several entrances, but they are not marked, and you can't really see Lowe's because there are buildings in front of it. You can just see the big sign by the road, so you know the general location. So be careful, and really just turn in at the stoplight or any entrance off Brice/Gender and thread your way back. read more

Worst customer service experience I've had at Lowe's. I asked for help finding an item and ended up locating it myself, only to discover that 2 out of 3 items were incorrectly priced. When I brought this to the cashier's attention, Sam refused to honor the displayed pricing and began removing the price stickers, preventing us from purchasing the items. She stated the pricing wouldn't be honored because we didn't bring the item up ourselves--which makes no sense given we had just located it. When we escalated the issue, the supervisor, Selena, was dismissive and unprofessional--rolling her eyes, snickering, and acting as if we were inconveniencing her. She also spoke over another team member who was trying to assist, clearly more interested in arguing than resolving the issue. To make matters worse, when we informed them we would be reporting the experience, both Sam and Selena made comments under their breath about not caring. This behavior is completely unacceptable and not a good representation of Lowe's customer service standards. read more

Lowe's so-called "price match guarantee" is nothing but a sham. I purchased a Frigidaire Gallery 1.9 cu ft 1000-watt over-the-range microwave for $379 plus $29 shipping, only to find the exact same model at Home Depot for $298 plus $29 shipping. Believing Lowe's would honor its price match guarantee, I decided to stick with them. Big mistake. The process was infuriating and full of excuses. I was told the price match didn't qualify because Lowe's sale wasn't over yet, and the price might drop further. Then I was told the price couldn't be matched because Home Depot had a "Buy More, Save More" promotion -- even though the $298 price didn't depend on that promotion. Apparently, spending an extra $467 at Home Depot to save $50 disqualifies their already lower price from being matched. Make it make sense. Neither the online chat nor phone representatives could explain this mess clearly. The supervisor I spoke to finally clarified, but their explanation was still absurd. When I asked to cancel my order, they did it without hesitation or even an attempt to retain me as a customer. Clearly, Lowe's doesn't care about loyalty or customer satisfaction. My husband renovates houses and has spent thousands at Lowe's, but after this insulting experience, we're done. We'll be shopping at Home Depot and Menards, where they actually value their customers. We hired Lowes to install a new window to replace an old one. The one they brought out and installed was different than the one we ordered. We realized the mistake right away. After numerous calls and emails back and forth Lowes said there must've been a glitch in their system and the window we ordered was no longer available. Lowes said there was nothing more they could do so we are stuck with the wrong window. It isn't fair or professional for Lowe's to bring out any window other than the one we ordered and paid for. We are extremely disappointed in Lowe's customer service. We were warned by Lowe's competition about ordering windows from Lowe's but we thought they were making it up but they were absolutely right about what would happen if Lowe's made a mistake or if we needed help about an order. read more

Horrible! I was helped buy a lady named tami I believe she was an older looking lady around 50 and she said something about my wife who is Mexican. I came here for service with appliances. I went to customer service so she could call someone to appliances and after she does that I hear her say something about my wife and said "she must be a border hopper" under her breath. I wasn't sure if I heard it right and I asked my wife and she said the same thing. I went to appliances and no one came (lack of staff). My friend was an employee at this location and experienced and reported racism from his boss. He reported it to hr and the boss was put on administrative leave. My friend came back to work and his work area was destroyed with the 'n' word and traitor written on his employee picture. He told the store manager and they told him he should have let him handle it and not gone to hr and maybe it wouldn't have happened. Open racism in the management at this location. I will be letting everyone know I come in contact with. The store owner is also aware of companies standing in the front of the store doing 'surveys' to get customer's information for another company to contact them to try to sell them their services and they tell you that you can get a Lowe's gift card, but really you don't unless you have the other company come to your home. read more

A customer pays for pick up, receives email that the order is ready goes and waits 30 minutes and even waits a day after the below was received. This was a curbside pick up order: 1. No one in the store answered the phone at the service desk - 10 minutes of standing there and watched the associate not answer the phones. 2. No solution for my merchandise, I went in the store waited longer to be told my order wasn't ready though my email stated otherwise. 3. Talking to the associate none of this registers as a gap in customer service, I'm not evening entitled it's literally apart of the reason customers contribute to ur profit margin. I just left this Lowe's. Went in because we needed a new kitchen faucet. Since we have no outside water source on our crappy rental house we need a faucet that allows for a hose to be hooked up to it. It was impossible to tell because they were too high up to actually touch. So I went looking for help. Found an employee sitting on a stool talking on his cell phone. I said "We have some questions about the kitchen faucet" He says "Oh I can't answer your questions". Fine. So I say "Well, who can I ask for help". BUYER BEWARE!! On December 05, 2019 Lowe's delivered and installed a new washer and dryer to our home. The technician failed to properly install the washer by not installing the washer's drain hose into the drain pipe of the house. The technician then started the washer, and told my daughter it needed to run a cycle. My daughter went about her way, upon hearing the washer chiming after it had completed, my daughter returned to look at found that the washer had drained all over our home. Lowe's was immediately notified and sent their installers back out. At that time the installers realized what they had done and installed the drain hose. Unfortunately too little to late. The damage has been done. The tech's then took photos of my home a quickly ran out the door. Lowe's was contacted again, to which the store employee took an, "Incident Report" and told me someone would be in contact in 24 to 48 hours. When I asked about the water in my home the employee had no idea, she just repeated someone would be in contact with me. At this time I had to call my homeowner's insurance to get the water extracted from my house and start the drying process. The water extraction company came into our home and ripped out our kitchen, laundry room, hallway, and part of our living room flooring. They moved all of my daughters bedroom out into the middle of our living room and kitchen. Our laundry room and hallway was also moved into our kitchen and living room. My son's room in the basement has also been displaced because of the water pouring the floor. Water went into the HVAC piping and system in our home, along with the pool table directly under the laundry room in the basement. We have other property that has been damaged by the water. At no time in the past 11 days has anyone from Lowe's reached out until I contacted cooperate Saturday, December 14, 2019. To which I was told a "Team" would investigate this and reach back out to me within 24 hours. 29 hours later on Sunday, December 15, 2019 a woman from Lowe's cooperate did call, however, she had not investigated a single thing with our claim. She knew nothing about what had taken place over the past 10 days. Then when once again I had explained what has been going on she tried to tell me the same things everyone else I had been calling and talking to has already told me. She then tells me she would contact their carrier manager and someone would be in touch by Monday, December 16, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. Well, here we are now, it is Monday, December 16, 2019 at 17:51 and NO ONE has still reached out to me. It is 9 days from Christmas and my house is still a wreck. We had drying equipment in our home for 7 days, our house unlivable for now 11 days and NO ONE from Lowe's care's, or is concerned. I guess if this was their home they would care, but since it isn't they don't care, and hope I will go away. Well, I am going no where. I am filing complaints with the BBB, I will be notifying local media outlets, and will post this everywhere I can online where other can see how they treat customer's when they damage their home's and property. Oh, and Keyboard warriors be careful before you try to comment, I have all of this very well documented, and can back up what I am posting. I am not an idiot. Don't buy anything from Lowes that needs to be delivered. Everyone in the store, including their management knows their 3rd party delivery company is a complete joke. I had a broken washing machine delivered and it was a nightmare to get it replaced. It ended up being faster to return it myself to the store, order a new one and get it delivered than it was work with the delivery company to get a replacement. My local store doesn't bother to answer their phones either so Lowe's issues aren't limited to their delivery service. This has seriously been the worst customer service experience we've ever experienced. Let me provide a quick timeline with details as we're STILL trying to have someone come out to install our new sliding glass door! 5/4 - My husband goes into Lowe's to purchase a new sliding glass door. He waits 30 minutes before deciding to call the store to get assistance while he's already inside! They advise that they need to send someone out to our house to take measurements before being able to purchase the door. 5/11 - My husband goes into Lowe's and purchases the door and installation. They advise that since the sliding glass door is going upstairs, that he needs to take the door with him as they cannot deliver a sliding door to the second story of a house. 5/30 - The contractor shows up and advises us that Lowe's must have had the incorrect measurements as the door was not the correct size and that he cannot complete the installation. 6/5 - The contractor's wife give us the run around ALL day saying that although it's raining, that there is still a possibility that the contractor could still do the install as they knew the install was urgent since we were leaving out of town for the next few days. Later that night, the contractor calls to say that there was no way he was coming out due to all of the rain and it being a safety hazard. He tells us that he will do his best to get the installation done the next morning. 6/6 - The contractor tells my husband that he will call after 8:30 AM in regards to getting the install done before us having to leave at 2 PM. He never called nor answered any of the calls/voicemails that were left. 6/9 - The contractor shows up at our house KNOWING we were away for the entire weekend. They only called 30 minutes prior to showing up! They didn't give us a 24 hour notice to ensure that we could have someone there for the installation. 6/19 - We call the contractors as soon as we return from our weekend away only to find that they now cannot come out until 7/3!!! Throughout this entire ordeal, my husband has called daily and spoken with many, many supervisors! All promise to make it right and to call him back to provide updates and NONE of them have! He finally spoke to corporate today and they advised that they cannot control their contractors schedules and that both of the contractors that they have are booked up until July! So you're telling me that all of these people that are scheduled up until July too have waited almost two months for their installations? Another thing that shows how poor this customer service is is that both Lowe's and the contractor know that we cannot shut our current sliding glass door! So irritated right now and Lowe's has done NOTHING to make this right!!! read more

Update less than 2 years later... Big surprise, the door has a major leak and drips from the door molding at the top of the sliding door. I call Lowes to try to get some support, but they were quick to reply that it was past the 1 year labor warranty and offered to send me the number to the installer and pay him directly to fix the issue. Nah, I'll gladly skip the headache this installer gave me the first time and give my money to someone who knows what they are doing instead. She shooed me away and said "anyways," in front of a white customer and her white manager after I addresssed her poor attitude and customer service. Today I had a fantastic experience at Lowes. If I needed paint and especially if I had a tricky project, this is the store I would go to. We had previously been helped by Christos who was fantastic but sometimes, your hardest best efforts, the color in real life is a little off. But Christos said we could come back if that happened. Today, we had help from Neia who thought even more out of the box. When you want paint to match something that is stained, that is beyond tricky. There are so many things you have to consider. Neia spent so much time with us, nothing was quite right until she grabbed three cans of spray paint and a brush and bingo...the absolute perfect match. I so appreciate her help and Christos (who helped us the other day). I liked the ease of return of the color that did not work. We are equally located between both Reynoldsburg stores and the other one is easier to get to. BUT THIS FOR SURE IS MY STORE FOR PAINT. There was a real interest in getting it right rather than getting us out the door. I never would have thought of spray paint. Certainly not mixing three different colors and then the brush giving it more of a wood grain. She spent alot of time with us and I also appreciated her noticing when other customers needed help and without missing a beat for us, she summoned appropriate help for them. In a world that is more than a little grumpy, I feel good today. read more

Nothing really stands out about this Lowe's on the inside. It's the usual endless rows of stuff piled from floor to extension-ladder high, organized by blind drunks on a merry-go-round, and staffed by a useless horde of texting passers-through with mismatched socks. This I have learned to live with. What distinguishes this Lowe's is the seeming inability to get out of the parking lot once in. The only exit (unless you have a functioning Abrams M1A1 tank) hits the street (more like a country road with Rt 161-like traffic) in the middle of a concave bend, just confusingly slightly offset from the exit for the shopping area on the other side. Blind to both sides and in skewed conflict with those across the way, eventually (about when you need to use the restroom again) you just grit your teeth and floor it, hoping to find a break in traffic. No traffic light. No armed commandos with rescue flares. No voices from God in other drivers' brains. Just chipped teeth and dumped packages. And maybe intact fenders. I love it. Otherwise, it'd only be one star...for the reasons stated in paragraph one. read more

I wish retail employees understood that helping a customer is more important than stocking or inventory or personal conversations. Since this my 3RD consecutive disappointing experience with this Lowes I have to share my experience today. I entered the store and immediately went back to the flooring department because I knew the floor baseboards would be located there. I ran into an employee on a forklift, called him by name, showed him a photo of what I needed and asked for help. Without hesitation he pointed down the aisle, said it's down there and never offered to give me ANY assistance in finding the floorboard I needed, never got off the forklift, never asked any of the other employees standing around to assist me. After looking through 15 different floorboards with no assistance I decided to leave the store. On the way out, I stopped by the flooring desk to ask for help. The employee disclosed this wasn't his department. As I was leaving the bidg I shared my negative experience with a female employee. She informed me that the employee on the forklift was the Floor Dept MANAGER. WOW!! She walked me with back to base board dept and helped me select a 12 foot baseboard. I thanked her and went down to the siding department. I passed a female employee in an aisle who was taking inventory. I asked where siding was located. Without looking up from her inventory task she pointed me to the next aisle. No "is there anything I can help you with", No "Let me know if you need anything". I walked over there and really couldn't make head or tails out of anything so I just left the baseboard on the cart and left the store. CUSTOMERS are what keep retail profitabe. Sears, Mattress Firm, David's Bridal, Brookstone, the Walking Company...remember those stores?? Just keep ignoring your customers, send us to Menards or Amazon and soon you will be in their company. read more

Been going here for a full year (since I moved) and have spent quite a bit trying to update the new place- but unfortunately have never had a good experience. (In perspective I think I have gone to this location about 6 times a month, if not more in the past year.) Today was the worst when I had to deal with customer service and got the older woman with blonde hair. She just started off rude and felt I was trying to cheat her (I wasn't. I bought the wrong doorbell item and needed to buy the entire kit and wanted to pay the difference.) I understand the policy of not being able to do so without the receipt but her attitude made for a real unprofessional and unpleasant experience. So basically the woman in customer service did not want to do her job and explain things, she just was mad I couldn't find my receipt. Probably not the right fit if you can't be nice to customers. I know this place is convenient but I think Mernards might be the way to go- everyone was so helpful each time I visited and I've never had an issue of incompetence or the feeling that they could care less. read more

They were having 15% off of cabinets . We went in to order we waited 20 minutes before someone even talk to us. This was just a customer service guy walking around. He was very rude. They can only take two appointments a day to take orders because someone was sick. We went to the front desk to complain and she was rude to we asked about the 11% .she was not very nice . We were going to say something about the cabinets in the back but she did not want to be bothered you could tell. When 2 of them finished with one customer they both went off to help check out customers in line with purchases. After 15 minutes i complained that their sign said customer service. Where was it. Once upon a time, there was a woman who needed a new washer. She was so excited, she decided to replace her dryer too. So she went to Lowe's in Athens, Ohio to pick them out. When they were delivered, they were installed wrong and so they wouldn't work. When the woman called Lowe's for help, they insisted it was her that was wrong and not the installation. After many calls and conversations with the manager, they returned to her home and found that indeed, the installation was wrong. After they "fixed" it, the dryer still wouldn't work. Again, it had issues with the installation. After reporting this to Lowe's again, the woman became so frustrated that she returned the dryer and just uses her friend's old model (And kept her $700 she wanted to spend on the dryer). The woman swore she'd never buy from Lowe's again. About three years later, the woman ate her words when she had to replace her dishwasher. Begrudgingly, because there were few options, and fewer yet who'd deliver and install, the woman returned to Lowe's, this time in Lancaster, Ohio. She chose her dishwasher and took time off work to have it installed. The dishwasher wouldn't drain or clean her dishes. After calling Lowe's (yet again) to complain, they sent new installation people out who said the dishwasher had been installed incorrectly. They "fixed" it and yet, no dice. The woman decided to return the dishwasher and get a different model in hopes that it would work. After going through the process yet again, the third installer came out to replace the original dishwasher with a different model, the installer said the previous dishwasher was still installed incorrectly. He put her new dishwasher in and when he was leaving, he said they'd need to replace this one because there was damage to the bottom that he didn't see until it was in. He assured her replacing yet another dishwasher would be seamless. And yet. It's been two weeks and the woman has had to call Lowe's five times, has talked to many people at Lowe's, including managers who said they'd handle it and yet still no returned calls, still no dishwasher. Spoiler alert: the woman is me and I'm still sitting here, waiting for a call back and new dishwasher so I can take yet more time from my actual job, which I need to pay for the dishwasher (I've been paying for both dishwashers and unsuccessful installations for two months now), to get an appliance that works. I've talked to multiple people at Lowe's, including managers, have written to the better business bureau (for the washer and dryer fiasco), but nothing ever happens. So now I'm taking to social media in hopes that I can receive the appliance and installation I've been paying for. Luckily, they also keep bringing extra things (that I've paid for) for the installations that I'm supposed to return to Lowe's because they aren't needed (another example of how wildly inconvenient and unacceptable this process has been). This is completely unacceptable service, I'd love to find another store to deal with, but options are few. Can anyone out there help me? P.S. If this doesn't warrant some kind of discount or refund for the horrendous service and subpar products, I don't know what does. read more

My husband and I ordered a dishwasher in April. It finally arrived in mid may , installer delivered it and before even taking it out of the box claimed it was too tall and would not fit under our counter. We measured counter and returned to the store later than night to speak with appliance department, we explained it appears to fit based on measurements. Over a week later and 4 OTHER CALLS to the store and installation services team... still no plan for resolution...all we kept hearing is that we would get a call back. Finally...we returned to the store picked up dishwasher and installed it ourselves...AMAZINGLY.. it fit!! ***Below is a copy of the email that I sent to Lowes regarding my issues with the carpet installation that I had done through them about a month back*** To whom it may concern, My name is Lawrence Mixon Jr. Back in December of this past year, my wife and I came into your store number 0003 at 2888 Brice Rd, Columbus, OH 43232 to set up measurement of my upstairs for a carpet installation for the entire second floor (and also for tile installation in the two bathrooms upstairs). Ultimate Home Services came out to do the measurements and then I came back in to pay for both (the carpet and also the tile). At the time I set everything up I gave Lowes my direct cell number (PHONE NUMBER REMOVED) to be used as a point of contact. If I am not mistaken I also gave my wife's cell phone number as a back up (PHONE NUMBER REMOVED). At no time did I ever give my father's phone number(s). His cell is (PHONE NUMBER REMOVED) and his home number is (PHONE NUMBER REMOVED). Please keep in mind that I never listed either of his numbers to call in regards to our installations. His name is Dr. Lawrence Mixon Sr. and my name is Lawrence Mixon Jr. Our addresses are also different as I reside at (ADDRESS REMOVED) in Columbus OH and his address is (ADDRESS REMOVED) in Columbus. I am not sure what or how your system separates people but my father received at the very least EIGHT phone calls regarding service to MY home (if needed I can provide the times and dates of these calls). A couple of the callers were rude to him when he repeatedly explained how they had the WRONG phone number. Dealing with that definitely left a bad taste in my mouth as we paid approximately $3500.00 for the products and installations and felt that Lowes should've at the very least been able to update the correct phone number and be able to make a call to the correct person. My second issue is that when the carpet installation was done the installers ripped up the Dish satellite cables that were running underneath the carpet of my daughters room and failed to properly run the cables back underneath the carpet when they finished the installation. So as of right now we have about 15 feet of satellite cable bundled up in the entrance of my daughters room which is unsafe as it is a hazard that she or anyone can trip over and injure themselves. I called Susan at Ultimate Home Services last Wednesday (Feb 14th) to make her aware of the issues we had with her team of installers and she assured me that they would come out to place the cable back underneath the carpet but I have not heard anything since then. No follow up, nothing. During the installation the installers tried to demand more money from my wife (I was at work and not present during the carpet install) to move furniture and claimed they were not notified that we paid the $90.00 or $95.00 to break the two beds down and have them put back together. My wife had to call the store to get it straightened out but yet another area of miscommunication that should've been resolved so that we could enjoy the process of adding new carpet to our home instead of the hassle that we have had to endure. Lastly I called the Lowes on Silver Drive in Columbus Ohio store #1175 on Wednesday February 14th at approximately 4:00 pm EST and spoke with a Larry. I had some general questions about how the carpet install should've been handled by Lowes and the installation company and was treated pretty rudely (by Larry). When I asked for someone else who might be more knowledgeable I was told there wasn't anyone else. After this series of mishaps I am very unhappy with how your company has handled everything. I just feel like for the amount of my hard earned money that I have spent that I/WE should've been treated a LOT better and I am anxious to see how you handle this situation and what (if anything) you will do to try to rectify this. read more

Purchased a grill over 2 weeks ago that was not stocked in store. Spent 15 minutes in the store scheduling assembly and delivery dates. Today, delivery day, I received a call stating they had the grill but it had not been assembled as scheduled so the delivery would be later than expected. Received a second call about an hour and a half later saying just kidding we never ordered your grill despite having charged me for the grill. I then speak with a manager (for what it's worth he was very kind) and I am informed that the grill is out of stock company-wide and they cannot get me the grill I've already paid for until May 20th. I can't imagine Lowes just realized today they were out of stock of this product, so at a minimum a telephone call earlier this week would have been appreciated so I did not take time off work to accommodate the delivery. read more

The window in a front door purchased at this store was broken. We went to the store to see if they could get us a replacement window. Was told they couldn't order one, recommended we take the door to Glass Guru in Gahanna, which we did. Service was late and poor. When we did further research on Glass Guru, found they had an F rating with BBB, had a low yelp rating, and the Ohio Attorney General had investigated them several times. Have been happy with this Lowes in the past but disappointed they would recommend a company without vetting them first. read more

Went to this store to get some paint, polyurethane, and other similar items. I requested help at the paint desk in finding a specific color of paint. The employee seemed annoyed that I would even ask, and responded to my questions like I was an idiot for not knowing the answers. The employee tried to "help" me then get rid of me as quickly as possible. Probably won't be going back to this Lowe's. They are much friendlier at Home Depot. read more

Never go to this Lowes on BRICE to purchase appliances. I would even get a dog house from here. You should look else where to purchase appliances. I purchase a washer and dryer set from here July 5. I was so excited. I told the sales lady that I will purchase the connect stuff later. Which I did. Was told it was going to be delivered on July 31. So later I purchased the things to connect the set. However, I was called through a recording tell me my delivery was going to be between 3p to 7p. So I took a half day at work. So the day of the deliver the delivery driver called me at 10:39a to say he was coming to my house to bring my set. I told him he's not coming because I'm not home, I'm still at work. I told him my called said 3p to 7p. He try to convince me that the recording was wrong and they don't have anything to do with the time. I told him well that stupid cause people go on what was told to them on the recording. So he continue telling me he be at my house before 3p. So I told him I cant get off until my coverage comes. I work for a hospital so I can't just leave on a drop of a hat. So I told him the earliest would be 1p. So I called the store which was a waste of time because I was on hold for a long time. So finally once I talked to the manager, I told her what was going on she told me to hold she going to get in touch was the driver. So the manager claim the she couldn't get in touch with the driver and she would call me back. I never received a callback. So I leave work around 12:30p once I got home I realize the sales man gave me the wrong cord to the dryer. So I run to Lowes to exchange the cord. While at Lowes my daughter calls me to tell me that the deliver guys was at the house. My daughter is only 12yrs old. I wasn't understanding why they was at the house, when no one called to let me know that they was on the way. So once I got home my daughter told me that they put my washer and dryer in my garage, Instead up putting in the house. SO WHEN I CALLED THE DRIVER BACK THEY SAID THEY DON'T HOOK THE APPLIANCES. So go back to store to talk to a manager. However the person that I talked to wasn't a manager, she didn't know much. She couldn't even find my information in the system or know where to look it up at. Once she still couldn't found my information after 15 min she asks another worker. After another 10 mins went by she ask me who was the salesperson. So Instead of her trying to found them she tells me to go back to the appliances. No manager should have a customer do her leg work when you suppose to know the store, since you the manager. Such bad customer service. So when I finally talk to Christopher that's over the delivery. He begins to tell me that the driver can't come back out today to hook up my set. HE didn't apologize for the inconvenience or anything. He doesn't have any kind of customer service at all. He just let the driver run the show. Christopher didn't even want to hear what I had to say on what happen. He just told me he would have them come back out tomorrow which was Saturday. So when Saturday came the driver takes upon his self and call me at 7a. Which isn't the time the recording gave me. So the driver didn't get to my house until 11:30a.Which again he didn't call before he came. So I told them I wanted the old set put in garage. He just ignore what I said and began to ask me if I had the items for the new set. I told him that I did. He totally disregarded what I said again and ask to see them. Then he begins to tell me he can't hook up my set because I didn't have items from Lowes. Which the salesperson didn't say that I needed to get the items from Lowes. She just said as long as you have new items they can hook up your set. So once again I'm telling the driver what I was told. He begin telling me again that he cant hook up my set. So I told him he can take the set out of my garage and put it back on the truck. So I can return it and get my money back. Never in my life had I deal with such BS and shitty customer service. I can take my money somewhere else I have never heard of a manager let the driver run the show. Before you become a manager you need to have class on how to handle different situations. I have some advice for you GET OUTSIDE DELIVERY SERVICES. Cause what you have now is going to c cost you a lot Money. read more

We went to buy a grill at this location. A simple task, right? Wrong. First off, we asked a store associate for help and he was OBVIOUSLY high. He claimed he had to check several different areas for the grill, but said there were three in stock. About 30 minutes later, no update, and the store associate started helping another customer without even checking back with us. We then went to the customer service desk, where somebody called a Rachel to help us. Rachel never showed up. Eventually we complained enough to attract the attention of Deborah, who claimed to be a store manager. I'd describe the interaction with Deb as a downer to say the least. She was very confrontational and acted as if our wait was our fault and an inconvenience to her. She vowed that she would find the grill and bring it to us...but returned and said it could be in one of fifty places. Wouldn't you think that a hardware store would be organized? Apparently Deborah and her employees would rather keep the store a mess and enjoy being intoxicated on the job. We spent almost an hour with no progress. We then went to Menards, where we bought the same grill at a cheaper price, and only spent 15 minutes in total from entrance to exiting with the grill. Our time at Lowe's was tragically bad, and that is putting it lightly. read more

My wife and I went there to shop for some new appliances. We were there for almost half an hour looking at a fridge, stove, and a dryer. We already have their credit card and were gonna put it on that. However, no one came to help us the whole time we were there. We walked by several employees and none of them even say hello. We ended up buying everything at Home Depot and we received the opposite experience. In fact when we were at Home Depot and told them the experience we had at Lowe's, they pulled up and beat their price listed and up the no interest financing from 12 months and double it for us to 24 months. We ended up upgrading our appliances and bought an electric smoker on top of that... bought 5 years warranty on all of them too. I sent an email to Lowe's and they did reply with an apology because they just lost a loyal customer and I'm sure I'm not the only one. read more

We went into the Lowes store in Columbus, OH on Brice Road to order carpet and installation for our entire upstairs (approx. 1,300 sq. ft.). We made it clear to the associate that we needed it installed in time for Thanksgiving because we had family coming into town. We ordered in stock carpet and we were assured that since we were having it measured by the cut off date of November 10th (which we did) we would be able to get it installed by Thanksgiving. The guy who measured said we'd get a call and an email confirmation, which we never did. We followed up multiple times with the installed sales department and kept getting put off and promised follow up calls which never came. We were then told yesterday that we'd be lucky to have it installed by Christmas because they are backed up. This is the second time Lowes installed sales department has dropped the ball and we've had to cancel our order. The people in the installed sales department couldn't have cared less about the lost business. We spend a great deal of money at Lowe's and you have now lost our business for good. read more
