I come to this Lowe's pretty often and I never have any issues. The staff is always helpful and available. I usually go straight to the plant section lol. My visit the other day was purely to get more soil for plants I'd purchased from a different Lowe's location earlier that day. But of course I had to look around their plant section too. I really lucked up and found some beautiful new plant babies here too. It's so interesting because I was just in this plant section like 5 days prior and they already had new plants. I was happy and mad because I spent more money than I planned lol. But it was a great thing and I was so happy with my plant finds. Did I mention they are ready for Black Friday sales. And saw a full display of Carhartt gear. Hats, pants, goodies, etc. They got you covered from paint, to dishwashers, stoves, ranges and refrigerator. Felt like a kid in a candy store as I totally forgot what I went in to buy. Lol. This store has everything one could need for home improvement needs. I've purchased custom made paint, paper bags to collect my leaves and the plant section is beautiful. I always leave this store with a pathos, money plant or holiday decorated succulents. There is a good mix of people who know the store like the back of their hand and others who are still learning the store. Sooo much parking, it's impossible not to find a spot. I stopped off at Lowe's instead of heading to a Super Walmart to pick up packing tape. I was looking for heavy duty material that had a built in tape cutter. Several were available and I didn't have to ask anyone for help. The location of the products was easy to find even though the signs didn't help very much. Some things don't change. Getting paint at Lowe's is almost impossible. Easily half the time there are no associates to mix paint. I just needed 1 gallon more to complete a project and pressed the "Special Assistance" several times. After waiting for quite a while with associates just walking by, I left my full cart and walked out. Lowe's paint department has been like this since I can remember. The sad part is that they have the best paint. Not sure I will start another paint project with them. While Lowe's may have the best at a decent price, it doesn't matter if you can't get it mixed. read more

Disappointed in the customer care experience with Lowe's. They did not complete delivery and install of a pricey washer and dryer. They are sitting in my basement where they were dropped off but with no stacking kit. And apparently this is on me.....not them. My receipt said delivery and install on 7/13. They have no clue when they can complete the order and install. I've called the store, called customer care line, chatted with the customer care line. I came to Lowe's to look for custom blinds for my windows and I saw some great options here. The two sales associates Shaniya and Alex were very helpful in helping me to find exactly what I envisioned. They scheduled someone to come out and measure all or my windows for $19 (this is a special promo). I'm fully capable of doing my own measurements but the reason I'm having someone measure is because the measurements are mine and if I order blinds from Lowe's that have to be cut and if by chance they are cut wrong I can get a refund vs if I measure and have them cut, I'm stuck with them! I would not recommend buying appliances at this location unless you can pick it up and do the installation yourself. I purchased a dishwasher at this location and they use a company called Reliable Service. First you can't really pick the date that you want because they will tell you the earliest appointment is in 3-4 weeks even the dishwasher is already at the store ready for pick up. Today supposed is the installation day, this company called me at the last min and told me they can't come and they need to reschedule. When you call them back try to reschedule, they will tell you that you have to wait another 2-3 weeks. Very disappointed especially for people who need to take a day off from work. I ended up going to Best Buy, Best Buy said they can do the delivery/installation in two days. read more

Normally, I am very happy with my Lowes experience but not today. I went in for a 4X8 sheet of MDF which I quickly found , but needed it cut. After going to the service desk 2 times asking for someone to run the saw I went back a 3rd time and the cashier said to ask the two employees in the first aisle to cut it for me. I asked them and they said they would be right with me, and continued to do their task at hand. 15 minutes later they came and asked what I needed cut. I showed them the panel of MDF that I needed ripped to 11.75 inches. I was told they could cut anything shorter than 12 inches. I explained the week prior an employee had ripped it to 11.75 and nicely asked if he could do the same.and he refused. So I asked him to rip it 4 times for me and after the 3rd rip, he shut off the saw. I asked him to rip the last piece to 12 inches too and he snidely said 48 inches divided by 12 would get me the 4th piece. I then explained that the MDF panel was actually 49 inches and showed him the variation in the last piece. He reluctantly cut the last piece to 12 inches. This store is huge and candidly, I can admit that it can be rather intimidating for a girly girl like me. For years I have come to rely on the expertise of the friendly pros working at Lowes. It doesn't matter how elementary a question may seem, they will answer it to the best of their ability, and unlike "other" large home improvement stores, there is always someone very close by to assist you with pricing, advice or the location of products. Their shelves are fully stocked and the store is always neat. Here are the two areas Lowes could improve upon in my humble opinion: 1. The nursery is confusing. In the nursery, it is not easy to find the plants you are looking for without assistance. Even with help oftentimes you may be told they are out of a plant, and then you find it on your own. 2. They don't have enough sales, or if they do I never seem to hear about them. For there to be a price break, it's usually on discontinued or damaged merchandise. Having said that, it still a pleasure to shop there. No matter what I go here to purchase, I usually visit their outdoor furniture, nursery and cooking grills. My husband also uses the Lowes app. This is a great help! While in the store, you scan the item and it gives you the current price and customer rating. But if you search prior to going to the store the app will provide prices, ratings, location in the store and even the quantity on hand! Chalk that up for useful. read more

This unprofessional and uneducated employee of yours needs to be more careful when she decides to engage in trash talking customers. She thought it was a good idea to talk garbage to another customer regarding our situation. Good Store but a bit hard to find certain items. Lowe's is HQ's locally in Morresville which would seem to be a big plus and it is. Problem is this is also the area where they try out new store footprints so very few stores have the same layout of merchandise since the are resident Guinea Pigs. Was in the store on Sunday July 28. Asked an employee for assistance with gutter extensions, he seemed totally ticked that I interrupted his conversation with another employee. When I explained again what I was asking he said he was totally confused and to go ask another employee, which I did. The answer from this person was our product is limited in the store and I really don't know what to tell you. I come into this store multiple times a day. Spending thousands here a week. This is the only Lowe's in the Charlotte area that does not do phone sales on the weekend. The Lowe's on the other side of Concord did the phone sale for me along with the Lowe's on Perimeter Parkway this morning. I'm in this store sometimes 3 times a day. Employees are quick to try and pawn you off on someone else and not do their job. Every weekend I have to explain to the customer service associate that this is where phone sales are done on the weekends. There were no other customers in line behind me to hold up from the time it takes to do a phone sale. When considering purchasing a new appliance , you might want to think twice before buying one from Lowe's if you need it in a timely manner. I found a new dishwasher that I need because my old one no longer works. I purchased it on December 2nd and I was told that it would be available within 4 to 7 days. I purchased the installation package with the understanding that I would be contacted by the installation company, Reliable Services USA, as soon as the dishwasher was available for pickup and installation. I was not contacted and I had to call the installation company myself. I was incredibly disappointed to learn that I would have to wait another 2 weeks for installation. Unfortunately, it's the holidays and I will be stuck with a house full of guests and no dishwasher to lend a hand with all of the cooking and cleaning. Do not go here for flooring,......the sales people don't know what is needed for each flooring they sell, while others, will sell you things you may, or may not need! Then, IF you do buy flooring from there, and, get a sub standard installation from their flooring people,...they too, do not know what is needed, and, what is not! They will just use whatever Lowe's sent over with the flooring, regardless if needed or not! I have been emailing Lowe's for about a year now, they replaced my flooring, and, did the same thing again,.....used the underlayment, even though it wasn't needed! Which causes the floors to make noise when being walked on, every where you walk! I thought I was buying a house but it seems that I live HERE now! While the University Lowe's home improvement is closer to my new home, I find that I like this location better. My visit a couple of nights ago required two trips. A new kitchen faucet and an instant hot water dispenser required a T-fitting and an adapter so I asked an associate what I should need to add the new fixtures to my cold water supply line. He walked me over to the fittings and patiently explained everything I should need and even how to do it! Upon installation, I realized that the adapter fitting he sold me was nowhere near the right size! Frustrated, I drove back to the store and told him it was wrong and showed him a picture of my supply line. He looked at it and asked if I lived in a certain neighborhood in North Charlotte, and to my surprised he pinpointed my exact neighborhood! Apparently the plumbing contractor who installed the fittings in most of the homes in my subdivision put in a less common supply line. While it met code and nothing was necessarily wrong with doing it that way, it requires a different adaptor to put a new faucet in. The guy in the plumbing section said he sees 2-3 people in my neighborhood a month and it's just not common enough to ask every single customer if they live there (I don't blame him at all!). So what I thought was a frustrating visit back to Lowe's turned into me realizing that their associates really know their stuff! Very knowledgeable and very patient with customers. This place is horrible. I ordered carpet almost 2 months ago to be shipped to my house. It never came, and I have called over 9 times and every time I am transferred to a manager that never picks up or another like that never picks up and the line eventually is cut. Today I called 3 times, and the situation above occurred, and the employees literally picked up the phone and tried to set it back on the receiver to get the phone to stop ringing instead of answering, but they must have not set it back on correctly, because I heard their entire conversation while yelling hello hoping they would hear and acknowledge me. I get it, I've worked at department stores, restaurants, clothing stores etc. and it can suck. But at least try to care a little. These people are rude and clearly don't care at all. I have no carpet and no money back after 2 months. Lowe's stole my money at this point. And the crazy thing is that all they have to do is answer the phone, look at my order and see why it didn't arrive and either re-ship it, or give my money back. The G&E dryer that was delivered on 12/17 does not work. It emits no heat to dry clothes. I discovered this the first time I used it on 12/23. I was told by Lowe's that I had NO options to return or exchange this broken item because it was more than 48hrs after delivery. THIS POLICY IS ABSURD AND UNACCEPTABLE! I was never told by the deliverers of a 48hr return policy, nor was it displayed prominently on Lowe's website or at anytime during the order process. This is deceptive business practice, and I will be taking legal action! I can't wait to meet other former Lowe's customers that have fallen victim to this policy and left with non-working appliances. I've never had such a horrible experience. My husband and I purchased a washer and dryer for almost $2000 from Jene. Jene apparently ordered our washer and neglected to order our dryer and listed it in their system as something that we had picked up from the store. We also paid to have it delivered and set up at our house. A few days later, our order arrived with only the washer. That's when we found out that our dryer wasn't coming, because it's out of stock, and we could not be told when it would be coming. We sat on hold for a total of 45 minutes between Jene and Ryan, the department supervisor. We hung up and went into the store because we were tired of being jerked around. Ryan proceeded to ONLY speak to my husband, refused to talk to me or look me in the eye, did not provide us other options, and made faces to another coworker while we stood there signing our refund receipt. Ryan has poor customer service skills, is disrespectful, and a little sexist. Jene shouldn't be trusted with an $8 McDonalds order, let alone a $2000 purchase. We also made it clear, we just moved here and DO NOT have a washer and dryer to use in the meantime. They also mentioned our refund won't be processed till up to a week after it's picked up, and could not schedule a pick up time/day for us in store and said we had to wait for someone to call us. The lack of helpfulness, understanding, and customer care is unacceptable. I will never shop at another Lowes again and apparently will be getting more clothes so I have something to wear to work that's clean. read more

So in love with this Lowe's! It is the best in the area by far. The two in Concord and Kannapolis are in kind of sketchy areas so I don't feel comfortable shopping there at night alone. The Huntersville location is in a nice area, but Norcross shopping center is a zoo and the one way on streets are annoying! I can get in and out of this Lowe's easily coming off of Derita or Christenbury Parkway and avoid the traffic by Concord Mills. At least that is while the new shopping centers are still being built. We shall see what happens once all the new stores open. Yeah for progress??? I have always received prompt and courteous service at this location. There are always plenty of people walking around to ask for help. They will find someone for you if it isn't their department. I have returned several items here and have never had a problem. They actually let me return a hedge trimmer that we used once and didn't give me a hassle. They didn't even ask a reason why when I said I wanted to return it (it was too short to reach the back of our bushes that line the side of our house) they just happily returned it. That's pretty unheard anymore. I love their selection of holiday blow ups. Definitely shop with the app in your hand because sometimes they are cheaper on their website (as it is nowadays with most big box retailers that are trying to compete with Amazon). They will price match their own site if you ask. Also, the app is really useful to save time looking for your items. It will tell you the aisle and section number for all the items they carry in the store. All in all, this Lowe's really is a great shopping experience and is my go to home improvement store. read more

As a repeat customer of Lowe's, I would have expected far better than the horrendous treatment I received this past year. So much so that I've decided to take my business to Home Depot. In May of 2020 I ordered a fence and was told it would be installed within 3-6 weeks. Imagine my frustration as the months passed (7 months to be exact!) with NO FENCE and absolutely no support from Lowe's management. In fact, Lowe's never once called me to tell me my fence would not be installed within the agreed upon timeframe. I had to make repeated calls just to get anyone in to even talk to me on the phone or even return a phone call. And when I did get someone on the phone they were very rude and repeatedly would lie and tell me the fence would be installed within a few weeks. They even lied at one point and told me the fence material was in, when it fact it WASN'T! After repeated attempts to get resolution I finally reached out to Action 9 news. Only then did I get any results. Even then it took weeks to get my fence installed. To make matters worse, they didn't even install the correct color fence that I paid for! I was forced to take whatever color they had just so I could get a fence for my safety. I am disabled vet and that fence was critical to my feeling safe in my home. As much as Lowe's touts valuing vets, I am appalled at the way I was treated. If you value great service and a phenomenal experience, Lowe's is absolutely NOT the place to go. They deserves 0 stars. The absolute worst experience. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. What should of been a 5 min trip took me over an hour. Couldn't find a single employee to help me. A couple times I would find someone and they would say "oh ___ is coming", and no one would come. Saw a couple employees sitting around. Actually witnessed another customer get frustrated and yell at those employees "can someone freaking help me instead of sitting around". Every few seconds you would hear "assistance needed" over the loud speaker. They weren't busy in the slightest but it was as if all the employees were on strike and refusing to do anything. It was insane. I have never in my life witnessed such horrible customer service. I will never be coming back to Lowe's, save yourself the frustration and go to Home Depot. read more

What a fiasco with my flooring installations. We ordered carpet and plank tile for our basement. The order was incorrect for both and multiple back and forth between the store and service pros was so frustrating. The inability to clearly communicate between the two organizations and most importantly with the client was incompetent. I had visited the store to work out the issues at least 1/2 dozen times and spent way too much time on the phone with them. Their failure to follow through on their mistakes and communicate where things stood was unacceptable. In the end, after 6 weeks, I had to request a refund. Love this store! All the associates are always so helpful and smiling! They even allow dogs in and always stop to pet them or give a treat. I can't say enough great things about this Lowe's store. All the items are located at such accessible levels for short girls like me... MUCH better than Home Depot where everything is high up. Also, if you have trouble finding something or have questions about something, there's always someone right around the corner who is more than happy to help. This store has a hot dog stand outside on weekends in summer. Bring cash! Tons of wonderful plants in the Garden Center too. It is such a pleasure shopping at Lowe's... Purchased steel cable from Lowe's and didn't use 100 feet of it. We weren't sure how much we needed so when we bought the whole 250 foot roll we were assured that we could return the portion that we didn't use. After our project was complete I came to return the section of unused cable. The associate walked around the corner and talk to the Manager. She came back to tell me, "we cannot except that."
