My husband ordered parts online and sent me down to get them. We live 80 miles away, so off I went. When I got there I had no phone with me and needed his phone to open a locker that his order was in. Well I was able to find two folks that worked very hard to get this locker open in order for me to get my husbands parts. Their names were Toni and Iris. Thank goodness they were willing to help me with this issue. I guess Lowes thinks everyone is attached to their phones at the hip. Not true! I am in the middle of a horrible experience with Lowe's in Espanola. I went in, in person, to buy a refrigerator. I needed one that could be delivered ASAP. Many models were unavailable in the store . Trying to find one that was available took me more than two hours. Pascual, who was helping me, found a refrigerator that was in stock . He verified that they had it in the back and said it would be delivered on Thursday , July 2nd. Yesterday, July 2nd, when I wasn't contacted about delivery instructions I checked my email. They now say that it will be delivered on July 14th. UNACCEPTABLE! No one can be home that day. When we offered to drive down and pick it up ourselves we were told it is not available because it was sold to someone else . This is a nightmare. When I try to talk to someone by phone , I wait on hold for 10-15 minutes and then the call disconnects . No customer service . I feel totally screwed over . read more

As a construction business owner it is difficult to find what I need in stock. Store is very disorganized and a disaster in the building materials area. Many tripping hazards. You can probably ask for discounts if you're lucky to find what you're looking for, because the materials are most likely damaged. Year 2025 I will completely avoid this store and continue my drive to Santa Fe where the stores up there can manage their inventory. If you need building materials I recommend going to "lumber yard stores" for most materials as many knowledgeable contractors do. Stay away from this DIY hardware store. Every time I have been there the isles are packed with stock. I know they need to get stuff to the shelves but I am disappointed by the apparent lack of concern for safety. I am disabled and am never able to complete a trip through the store without having to turn around in the middle of an isle. I'm gonna be honest, my experiences with this store have either been just decent or they've been awful. If you know exactly what you're buying and can just go in and get it and leave, you're in good shape. I even search the item on their website beforehand so I know what aisle it's in so I don't have to go through the trouble of finding an employee to ask where anything is. If you need something like keys made (the self serve machine sometimes is out of service or gives you keys that don't work), or if you need wood or chains cut to size, set aside a couple hours. I've walked out of that store multiple times without getting what I came for just because I've waited for sometimes an hour for someone to come help me. This is after multiple pages for them over the intercom system too. Customer service in this town is already iffy at best, but this place is exceptionally frustrating. Do NOT shop here if you need an appliance. Loews contracts with a 3rd party to install and they are totally incompetent . I bought a washer / dryer In April 2023 . The dryer was not installed because it came with a huge dent. The washer was installed but created a huge flood all over my laundry room, kitchen and bathroom . After wet vacuuming it , you could still see a bit of water under the floor . I had to call the Paul Davis Company to install a contractor's dehumidifier. That cost almost $1,OOO . I put a property claim into Loew's and no one has called even though it was supposedly " escalated" . I paid with a Loew's credit card and Loew's was trying to blame the third party ( who they hire ) !! It is truly outrageous . And the story gets worse , both machines were returned and now Loew's cannot account for them!!! I bought from a local store ( thank you Appliance Plus In Taos )and have had no problems at all . Sure, it was more expensive but it could save you so much time and stress . I will always shop local after this nightmare. Judith V read more

This Lowes is the worst. Customer service is horrible, when you are able to get someone on the phone they generally don't know what they're talking about or just lie to get you off the phone.. This is one of the only options that will deliver to our location so you have to try to deal with them. We've ordered from them twice for delivery, items that are too large to pickup from the store. Both times the process was an absolute nightmare. Their inventory is off, so even if it says available online, good luck. Their delivery system is an absolute mess, you can schedule a delivery day but there's about a 10% chance that you'll actually get it delivered on the scheduled day. This lowes is the only big hardware store near where I live. I've used it a lot. Absolutely the worst lowes I've ever used. which puts it high in the running for one of the worst stores overall... Stock is mixed, stuff is missing, stuff isn't stocked, parts and materials strewn across the floors, management is like leprechauns (a myth), emergency exits blocked, I could go on... I have met some excellent staff there that really tried to help. thank you to them. funny story... I am very glad that I am a psychotherapist. It took three calls, two of which were dropped, and on the third, the customer care person told me that they don't have enough people who are employed at Lowe's Espanola because "nobody wants to work." Kudos to her and to Louie, a store manager who finally tried to help me. We had ordered and prepared for the delivery of a stackable washer and dryer today. We heard NOTHING and waited, prepared all day. Louie checked and said that the washer/dryer combo was not even arriving at the distribution center until June 15th. The young man who originally sold us the washer.dryer no longer works at Lowe's. If you're looking for a bad time, try ordering something from Lowe's in Espanola for delivery or pickup. Had a bathroom vanity delivered that had a cracked countertop. Ended up buying another countertop since it would've taken 3 months to get a new comparable vanity. Lowes did nothing to offset the extra 400 dollars for the additional countertop. Ordered retaining wall blocks and had a scheduled delivery date... day passes with no delivery. No calls or nothing from Lowe's. I wait 5 days and reschedule the delivery. Call Lowe's customer service on the second delivery day. They assure me that the blocks are on a truck and going out for delivery. The blocks were not delivered and no calls or anything from Lowe's. It came all damaged The damage was noted and Lowe's was supposed to call to order replacement and no call for the past 8 days When we call no one answers or they transfer you to a number that no one answers. Today I spent 1 hour calling the store and I finally got a manager. I Spoke with manager Nathan and he said he would call back within 15 minutes and he did call me back. I went early to get what I needed (drove 40 miles) and come home. I waited 45 minutes for someone to help me with flooring and no one ever came. girl at customer service kept paging and nothing. I walked the store to find someone to help and only 2 guys around yet neither could help me. The flooring items were a big mess all over the floor. If I could have found what I needed I could have asked customers to help load but items was on top and need equipment to get down. I use Lowe's all over this country. The Lowe's in Espanola is hands down the worst operated Lowe's of all the Lowe's I have used! I am working about 60 miles away from the Espanola Lowe's. I use the Lowe's App to purchase items. The first online purchase experience went like this. Made the order. Saw their statement about due to Covid it could take longer than normal. After 3 days if no update by call, text or email,... I call them. I'm told it's been ready and I only have 3 more days to come get it. I drive to Espanola specifically to get what I ordered. It's not ready. I inquire. I'm told they don't even have what I want which is Cedar 1x6x12' boards. I walk the aisles. I find a bunk of what I need on the very top of a lumber rack. I spent 2 hours trying to get anyone to set the bunk down with a forklift. I finally left before ringing the necks of any Lowe's associate i could sit on. Tried a second online order. No email, no text but get a phone call saying my order is being pulled Thursday (today) and can I come now to get it. I say No but I can come Saturday morning before 8a. Gal says OK, it will be ready. Get a call just now (Friday morning) saying my order is ready and can I come get it. I tell the guy I've already told them (Lowe's) I'm coming Saturday morning before 8a tomorrow. He says, is that today? I now get chippy. I asked him how he might think me telling him I'm coming tomorrow means I could be coming today? He says, no need to yell and hangs up. Besides this customer service FAIL, I find this store filthy, unorganized, forklifts parked in the middle of Aisles making getting past one difficult or impossible with a lumber cart, very few lumber carts compared to other Lowe's stores. This is an ordinary big-box home improvement store. It is neither outstanding nor dismal, in my experience. I ordered a pole saw online and picked it up at this store. I had to wait a long time at customer service, but staff people were friendly and as helpful as they could be under the under-staffed conditions. The customer service department MANAGEMENT needs to work with the staff to develop clear procedures and protocols, and then train staff members in those procedures. In other instances, I have had people walk far out of their own departments to show me where something is stocked. That is a plus in my book. The main problems with this store are under-staffing and, apparently, poorly-established procedures. read more

This is the worst customer service experience I have has in years. I ordered two appliances. They were late outside the window and showed up with no notice. Then acted like it was my fault when there was no one there. I had called Lowe's when they were almost late and they refused to give me the information of their contactor. When they finally came they refused to install the dishwasher. It should also be noted that they changed the delivery date 4 times and it took 5 weeks to get the order. So then the "stackable" washer apparently needs a stacking kit which they did not have so they could not install it and they don't install dishwashers. Then they came up with a grand plan to fix all of this and i have been on the phone for 5 hours off and on with promises to call back and nothing has happened. Multiple promises of call backs and just sitting on hold. This company is so awful. I have been dealing with this for an entire day with no solution. It should also be noted that the corporate is of even less help with a call back wait time of 3 hours and when they called they made me sit there for over 15 minutes. This is a nightmare. read more

Incompetent and rude staff. Don't order anything for delivery and expect to have a good experience. We ordered bags of concrete online for delivery, sure fine whatever, the email updates say our order will be delivered on a Thursday. We call the store to confirm (we have delivery experience with this store), first of all they were rude and wouldn't even let us finish our sentences, then they tell us they don't deliver to our city on Thursdays (what the hell does that mean), and when we ask to speak to a manager, no managers are available to answer the phone. We get transferred back to the rude lady who tells us we can leave a message and the manager will call us. I have absolutely no confidence she actually took the message, and even if she did, I have absolutely no confidence we'll get a call back. I really wish Lowe's would demolish this store and start over, I have had nothing but bad experiences dealing with this Lowe's. Maybe I'll try to Lowe's in Santa Fe next. read more

This is after she said i would not be able to get my online order cause items were out of stock. Long story short i did speak with Lowe's.com and what do you know. The item's were in stock and she lied. When Lowe's.com called you guys you then would not even pick up for them and were rude to them.
