Honestly my favorite Lowes, every time I come in I end up getting what I needed. They offer a wide range of home improvement related products, I.E, furniture, wood, paint, etc, and occasionally (most recently July 4) have other things, in this case it was a small variety of fireworks. The three types of carts they have make it easier to get what you purchased back to your vehicle, the standard cart you see most places, the automatic carts, and some larger carts with a flat deck for large pieces of lumber. Customer service is a bit lacking compared to other Lowes in the area, which knocked my rating to a 4. Their lumber yard is indoors, but I'm not sure if that's a special perk for this Lowes in particular (it's cool even if it's not only this Lowes). They are open most of the time until 11PM, giving you plenty of time to get things, and the service desk is open until close. Overall I always have a pretty positive experience here. read more

Worse customer service imaginable. No one wants to help you find basic stuff. They might give you an aisl number if you're lucky. This 200ft long aisle with multiple shelves ? Good luck, they arent interested helping finding the product. They exist to make your life more difficult. Avoid this location at all costs. read more

Was looking for Valspar Protective Sealer on Aisle 10 Bay 16. Before I left home, app said 16 in stock. Got there and the spot was empty. Found Tatiana in paint department and asked if she could check inventory. She also showed 16 in stock. Showed her the empty spot and she pointed to the very top of the shelves and several boxes were stacked up. She radioed for someone to bring a ladder and help. No answer. Three red vested managers standing at the end of this same aisle. They looked over, then kept talking to each other. Tatiana said 'nobody is responding, let me see if I can find a ladder.' She came back a minute later with a ladder and climbed up there and lifted the heavy box with 4 jugs in it. Gave me one and proceeded to put the other three on the shelf where it's supposed to be. Give Tatiana a BIG raise and kudos!!! Fire at least two of those worthless managers. read more

I ordered something during the July sale. I got multiple notifications that my online order was delayed. They didn't tell us why only offer us to cancel or wait. We waited. Day before they were to deliver to store the cancelled the order. No explanation. It was 12 days after the order and 3 days after the sale ended. They refused to honor the sales price for me to reorder the item. That was $100 difference I am not paying! read more

My wife and I tried to return a jar of spackling to Lowe's today on Skibo Rd in Fayetteville, NC. Granted, we didn't have a receipt, but we are registered with that store and spend thousands there yearly. The cashier wasn't able to process the return and asked for help. After 15 minutes, another employee told her to process it as a, "store credit." Then another employee, who was very obnoxious, interrupted the conversation to say, "they couldn't do the refund." I asked her why she was in the conversation, because she had literally walked by a few seconds ago and couldn't possibly be familiar with the situation. She replied, "...because I'm a supervisor, just like her." I asked to speak with the manager. He arrived and his name tag said, John, Asst. Manager." He was arrogant and condescending. He told us that there was nothing they could do, "...because the computer won't allow it." So Lowe's published no receipt return policy says. "...at the stores discretion." It appears that John felt that not refunding my ~$10 was worth more than me continuing to shop in his store, Today was certainly a customer service win...for Home Depot and Ace Hardware. read more

A final nail in the coffin of our 11 year relationship with Lowe's. Since moving to NW Arkansas we have been faithful and loyal customers of Lowe's Fayetteville, on Zion Road. We had their Amex credit card and a business account and did thousands of dollars per year. Today that all ends! I ordered two Trek decking parts on line to replace a damaged rail (fallen tree limb) on our Lowe's purchased and installed deck. I was notified by email that the order was ready for pickup. My wife went to get it (I am traveling out-of-state) and was told that it could not be found. Lowes said they would call me to return to pickup when they managed to find our order. My wife said that she was done and would not waste another trip. I called Lowe's and was repeated told that I needed to wait for the employee who'd mispace my items to return at 12:30. I asked for a manager and was place on hold for almost half an hour. Only to have my call picked up by another employee. When I asked for a manager without additional hold time, they hung up on me! I called again and was able to get a supervisor. I explained everything clearly and said that we would not return -- we'd done our part and Lowe's screwed up. I requested free delivery to our home less that thee miles from the store. She told me they would be happy to deliver for an additional $80 fee. I said that it needed to be complementary since they had been in error. Without any apology, Tanya, the supervisor, said she didn't have any authority to offer a free delivery and the best she could do was reduce my fee to $20. I was dumbfounded. I carefully explained that she was risking the relationship with a business customer for $20 (actually less because their trucks are out every day anyway). She held her ground. I said that the consequence for this policy would be immediate cancelation of my order, cancellation of my Lowe's Amex Business credit card (since 2016), cancellation of our Lowe's account, and a complete move of all of our patronage to Home Depot. She was fine with this and cancelled the order, adding flippantly, "If that's your choice, I'd be happy to." Through the entire ordeal which occupied me for over an hour, I was never offered an apology by any of the Lowe's employees or supervisors I spoke to. When, at the end, I pointed this out, Tanya apologized. The apology seemed to be insincere and under duress. In the next hour I wrote to Lowe's corporate concerns desk, bought a$100 gift card (NOT LOWES) with our loyalty points, cancelled our Lowe's Amex Cards, and our online account with Lowe's. This is not the first battle I have had with this store. However, it is the first in which they made clear to me that my business was worth less that $20 to them. I will not be back. read more

I was looking for the felt pads for furniture legs to protect floors. Asked three different people and got three different answers sending me from aisle 49, 17 then 16. Then when I tried to self checkout, the scanner scanned 1 (just ONE) GE water filter twice with two different prices. This is the most disorganized Lowes I have ever been to and it is very frustrating. I have been here twice to pick up an order that my local Lowes did not have in stock and the return/ pick up counter is always under staffed and no one ever knows what they are doing. Ugh! I feel so frustrated. I went to return a few things. Two of them a bit large with one in each hand. I stood for a while to return my stuff (even though no one was in line) and when I was finally "helped" I went to set a corner of one of the items down on the edge of the counter so I could rest it even though the plexiglass is placed there (due to Covid I assume) so I could put the other item on the floor without dropping either. Joey, the person at the return counter, told me to bring it around to her side where the register was and I said okay. I needed a second to put the item in my left hand on the ground so I can pick up the item in my right hand with both hands since it was heavy for me. She kept saying it's not going to fit through the little gap and that that it's common sense. I tried to explain to her that I just needed a second and she very loudly cut me off and said "Believe me I see this all the time. It's common sense it's not going to go through." Anyone can see it was not going to fit. I didn't appreciate her being impatient with me especially after being the one to wait when no one was in line, being interrupted rudely and I really didn't appreciate her insinuating that I had no common sense. Hello today I had an unpleasant experience with Lowe's staff a cashier was very bad I asked her if she spoke Spanish and very annoyed she said no and she told me many things in English that only English was spoken there she behaved racist that Lowe's bad service with your staff who don't know how to treat customers. This review is all about the lack of customer service. I have a credit card purchase that I do not recognize and I tried calling the stores main number twice so I could talk to customer service. After dealing with the annoying automated menu the dept I asked for never picked up after 7 minutes of ringing...and that was the second time I called. I called back to the pro desk just wanting to talk to a human, and she said she couldn't help me but customer service could, but there is only 1 employee there right now. I asked her to connect me and after it rand for 4 minutes, no one answered and said, "Please hold", but aloud busy signal came on then disconnected me. I'm so annoyed! I'm going to have to drive there just to ask a question! Heres a tip for management: If you are short handed then YOU and all you assistant managers need to step up and step in to take care of the customers which includes the ones on the phone. read more

ALERT: Lowe's in Fayettevill,AR can get out of refunding or accepting a return of ANY product that is/has Red or White in it if purchased up to 90 days prior to December 25. This Christmas "clause " is a ridiculous scam. I have no doubt it gets them out of denying returns and refunds for anything sold near a holiday, solely based on color. So, next time you buy anything, do not count on your compliance, receipt, or timely compliance with the posted policies because they reserve the right to say it is related to any holiday. I could return a blue light , but not a red or white because it was within 90 days of Christmas. Be advised the return policy you read, is not what you get, even with receipt. This is an unbelievable scam. They use the colors of the Federal Holidays to enable them deny any return. Any and all colors Red, white, Green, black, orange, etc are fair game for them to deny. I visited this store on 10/31/2019 at around 10 am to pay on my father's account. As I walked up to the customer service desk both Nate and Teresa were completing transactions with other customers. Nate, the manager, looked at me and decided not to help me but instead he proceeded to hang posters. He was at a cash register but looked me up and down and walked away to hang material. Teresa at the customer service desk was on the phone. I also was on the phone with my parents so that they could dictate their payment information to me. I asked Teresa if I could make a payment on my father's account. She told me that she needed to see my ID. I told her I will give her my ID but the payment is for my father's account. She told me she couldn't let me PAY a bill on another account. I told her that I normally pay by this mechanism at other stores. She told me to go to the other stores. I told her that she was being very rude and it is a simple search to find my father's name. My parents live out of town and are elderly. I help them. I also told her that they're on the phone to provide any information that she may need. She refuses to look up the account. I ask Nate to assist me but of course he backs up his employee. I am African American so I know the drill. By this time another employee comes up to get the gossip of what is happening but no one actually helps. Lowes policy is customer service. My father has purchased a washing machine from this store over the phone. He has purchased a refrigerator over the phone at another location. And I typically pay his bill by giving the customer service representative his name. Instead of accommodating they rather send me to another store. Based off others experiences mine is not unique. Teresa was being mean and Nate supported it. Profiling at best. read more

I have my own landscaping design company and I frequent this store all the time and have spent a LOT of money here. But today will be my last trip ever! I have an injury to my right arm and I came today to buy some soil and other materials for a job I needed. I asked the employee in the garden center if they had anymore tree and shrub soil in back since all that was left out front was 3 busted bags. They said yes, asked me how many bags I needed and said they would load them for me. As I had explained to them I couldn't lift them due to my shoulder injury. So I pull my truck to the loading zone after loading my other bags of dirt and materials I had purchased. 3 employees came out to load my ten bags of soil. I asked them repeatedly to please stack the bags up against the cab of the truck nice and neatly. Well they threw them as hard as they could into my truck. Even after I asked them to stop throwing them in there like that. They were going to bust the bags open and that I needed them stacked neatly because I had other materials to put in the truck. Well they ignored me and just threw them. So now I have busted bags of dirt. And had to move them and re-stack them with a injured shoulder. I won't be back! You just lost a LOT of money from my business! I'll go down to Home Depot from now on. read more

I drive to Joplin instead of coming here unless I absolutely can't avoid it. The customer service is terrible here. The ad match policy that is painted on the wall, taped to the counters and printed on the receipts is very clear. I have had multiple employees refuse to honor it and openly argue with me in the store. Once I called customer care I was reimbursed but it is always a hassle at this store. Joplin has a better selection and much better customer service. read more
