Refrigerator delivery men were like a clown show. I purchased an LG French Door Refrigerator on Sept 24 @ the Galesburg Lowes. Delivery was on time but from the moment they got to our house, we realized immediately they didn't know what they were doing. First of all, they didn't know how to take the outside door off the hinge. They didn't bring any tools (so we supplied those). They didn't know they were taking our old refrigerator with them & had trouble disconnecting the plumbing (we supplied the tools). And the biggest problem was that even though we paid for the new installation hose to hook up the water to the icemaker, the guy said they aren't allowed to touch it. I told him there must be a mistake because we paid for the hose & installation. He informed me we needed to hire a plumber!!! I said , "Wait a minute!. If I would've been told you weren't going to hook up the water after we paid for the service, I would've gone somewhere else to buy the refrigerator!" We were extremely unhappy with the delivery service and after paying a plumber over $100 for a 5 minute job to attach the water line, Lowes gave us a $16 refund for the new water hose we purchased. This has to be the worst Lowe's I've ever been in. The plants are all dying from no water. We tried to buy a couple 1/2 dead ones at a discount (a gamble for us) to no avail. The Springfield store called (2 days ago) and reserved a microwave for us to pick up here, but no one knew anything about it. Forty five minutes later.....we're still waiting. What's the difference between the well run well stocked Springfield Lowe's, and this train wreck? Management maybe??? read more

I purchased a freezer from them and they gave me a time frame 2 weeks out with a date on the receipt saying it would be here today 6/18/2018 I called to see when the delivery would be and they said they didn't have it on the schedule today it would be tomorrow. read more

I went here for Black Friday and the staff were very helpful and friendly. They were out of stock on one of their sale item but they double checked anyway. They then ordered the item for me. It's hard to find friendly knowledgeable staff. read more

We have purchased in total around $15,000.00 worth of goods and installation with this store. Never had a problem up until this last purchase where we spent over $7000.00 for fencing and installation. It has been 4 months and still no installation. We have had to continuously call to find out what is the status. So many excuses it's absolutely ridiculous. Now I have a district manager who is suppose to be handling the situation and have tried calling her twice to get a copy of my contract to no avail. I will never ever purchase another thing from this store and the handling of the situation has been nothing but a headache. I would much rather just cancel this purchase and get my money back but I obviously need to see my contract to know where I stand on their end of breach of contract. I do not recommend! I would give them 0 stars if that was an option. Also I am not one to write reviews but after everything, I feel this is well deserved. read more
