Since then, the delivery has been rescheduled more than five times, requiring me to repeatedly rearrange my workers' schedules. Due to these ongoing delays and last‑minute changes, my project is now two weeks behind--and likely more by the time I finally receive the materials. Each time Lowe's failed to deliver as scheduled, I still had to pay my workers for the day, despite them being unable to complete any work. In addition to the financial impact, I have spent several hours on the phone with Lowe's attempting to resolve this issue. Came in for a interview, and without notice was told the interviews were cancelled on this day. I was then told to come in the following day for a interview at the same time. I then came in the following day to be turned away again due to the fact that " I never confirmed a time slot" when i was given verbal confirmation to come in the following day. I never received any email to even chose a new time slot. The girl at the front desk was just so nonchalant about the whole thing and probably could careless. I feel as a manager if you know you have time slots for interviews, why not call the person and let them know that things have been canceled and or changed. I think its very unprofessional. Refund policy I have been shopping at Lowe's for 30 years. I tried to get a refund on Simpson products. I didn't have a receipt but they are items that Lowes carries. There was a homeless cat using the sheds for cover I started feeding after a few times of feeding this cat they purposely moved the sheds from the parking lot to inside of the store. But I had an incident occur where hli or whatever it was called tree service destroyed my property and they broke my waterfall and they broke my mind because I couldn't figure out how to fix it. Anyways I called today finally after struggling with it for months and I explained to this man what had happened and what I wanted to do to fix it and he actually explained it in words that my brain understood and that I could envision it. I'm sorry I don't remember his name I'm not good at remembering names people say oh hey this is George and I'm like okay I just don't remember their name at all but he explained it to me in a way that it was like okay first I said 10 by 10:00 but then I remembered it's only 8x8 and he told me what I needed to do to fill up the pond well not the pond itself but to fill up it's surroundings so that then the pond could sit within it and I could grow that garden around it and I could have that waterfall fall back down into the pond. That's a lot coming from a guy who isn't very handy like myself. The store has appliances, tools, equipment, paint, and everything in between! The store is very clean and I never get odors like other places. The staff is pretty helpful and they're always willing to answer questions which is really nice! I was going to post how great Lowes handled my delivery and saw the post from Shane R. I had a similar problem where I was going to have some flooring delivered. Apparently I was the last delivery scheduled and they called me and said that the delivery before me took longer than expected. They said that they would have to re schedule the delivery. They let me pick the next delivery date (I chose the next day) and they were able to give me a 10% discount on my order for the inconvenience. They didn't have to do that, they just did. And when they got here, they were quick and professional with the unload........ I think there were some other issues that Shane is not telling us. read more

The salesman was nice but once Lowe's got paid about 3 weeks prior to the start date, that nice salesman washed his hands of me. They were little things that were bothersome like I didn't know what time they were gonna show up on the day of the job until that morning. They left trash all over the place really haphazard. They knocked over my plants just left them there and I had to dig up my sprinkler because they buried it about 2 feet of dirt on top of my sprinkler. My biggest complaint is that I paid for two gates to put in on my front entry on both sides of the house, and the gaps are so wide that the gate is already dragging on the ground. I literally have to lift the gate to get it to close and one of the locks are upside down. I've only had the gate for one month. I went with premium material. I bought the best that they had and they said they had the best installers. I reached out to my salesman to let him know there was an issue with the Gates. He texted me that he would let someone know and that was it. He never checked back with me to see if it was taken care of. He said he lived close and would come and check on the job after it was completed, which was a lie. Make sure you shop around. I know Lowe's is convenient but their customer service after payment is terrible. I had someone reach out to say they would come by and look at the job never heard back from them. Save yourself the time and headache and get references for sure! That is one thing I regrettably did not do. I still have quite a bit of work to do in my backyard so I'm glad I found out with this first installment that they are not the way to go. This sad part is it really wouldn't have been a big deal if someone had just reached out and tried to fix it with some type of sense of urgency. It's another reason why I never like to pay for work upfront before the job is completed because you don't know what you're gonna get and they always dragged their feet to fix any issues. . read more

DO NOT GOT TO LOWES! Go to HOME DEPOT. I bought a refrigerator, (They damaged that, and they had to bring me another one) a washer and gas dryer (I paid to have gas dryer installed. I smelled gas and the gas company came out and said whoever installed the dryer did not do it correctly they said it is a fire hazard. I called Lowes to have them come out and fix it they sent an installer out (a different one) and he said I cannot fix this Lowes does not give us the part you need I said well can you go get it he said no we have to use the parts they give us I said but it is not done correctly he said I'm sorry ma'am I can't do anything. I called Lowes again they do not care that it is a fire hazard! I asked them to take my dryer back and refund me my money they refused, They sent me to Samsung to get an RA number I said Samsung is not the problem you are and the fact that you hire installers that do not know what they are doing is the problem she said if you get an RA number from Samsung we will take the dryer back, Samsung said they said that just to divert you knowing we wouldn't give you one, (because we just cover the dryer parts) so they don't have to deal with it DO NOT go to Lowes go to HOME DEPOT you will get better service, and Home Depot will match any pricing Lowes gives and they care about the safety of their customers! read more

I purchased a toilet from the Hemet Lowe's over a month ago. They said it would be installed the next week. No one called. After 2 weeks I called them and was told the toilet was on back order because only 2 had come in and they were promised to other customers. My toilet would be in within the week. I was fine with that. But that was 2 weeks ago. Today, after holding for 15 minutes Lowe's hung up on me. When I called back the customer service guy that sold me the toilet and talked me into the credit card was helping someone else and couldn't help me. At this point I became upset and the operator offered to let me speak to the manager, which I did. After being placed on hold for another 11 minutes, the manager told me that the order had been canceled 5 days ago by Lowe's. No one bothered to call and inform me. Therefore, due to unreliable and what I consider exceptionally poor service this will be the last time I purchase anything from Lowe's. Hello Home Depot. read more

When I was over there trying to return to kobalt dead blow hammer's. They informed me that they would not honor that warranty that cobalt has on them, and that I could not get a refund or nothing. They were trying to give me not even up not even a third of the price that I had paid for the tools in on a gift card for the store. I paid $70 they were going to give me $13 for my shit Rudest thing I've ever dealt with. So for my $70 Tools they were gonna give me $13 store credit and not honor the warranty that the company has for them. When purchasing paint from Lowe's, in Hemet CA 92544, I'm shouting out, "buyers beware". We are rehabbing a small house in Sage CA. I found my wall measurements are 19x19 at 8' tall. The size is 4x19x8' totaling 576 sq ft of wall space. A Lowes paint department associate recommended specific paint for the project. I went with that recommendation. I have painted many, many house interiors and exteriors. Having over 45 years in the construction and remodeling industry. I know how to paint. A good rule of thumb is 1 gallon of paint to everybody 400 sq ft. The five (5) gallon bucket I bought should have more than sufficiently covered 576 ft of wall space and the entire ceiling. However, after painting the walls and ceiling the paint dried leaving all kinds of blotchy areas. Being dissatisfied with the results of that recommended paint I returned to Lowe's and explained exactly what i have written herein. An on duty sales associate recommended I scrub my walls with TSP and then repaint All of it. His response was stupid. I had already primer and paint, therefore, that was not going to address product failure. The paint did not fully cover the primer with one coat. That is the bottom line. I returned to the job and after gathering bbthe remaining paint I then returned to Lowe's. I went to the exchange counter and after a short conversation with the Return receptionist I asked to speak with a manager. Having explained the situation of product failure, that manager went to his manager, trying to seek resolution. The manager came back to me and offered 20% off of another 5 gallon bucket. That was a slap in the face to me. I had $200 worth of additional material that I was going to purchase. My son was waiting at a checkout. I walked up to him and said leave that stuff sit and let's go. I will not ever buy another thing from Lowe'. My last referral to Lowes was a $35,000.00 purchase order. Over a $185.00 five gallon trash paint product Lowe's has written off my business. i recommend everyone beware of Lowes management practices. I will never reti to the paint department at Lowe's. Nobody from Lowe's recommended contacting the product manufacture. I would of been happy with that resolve. I want to start off with saying that the staff members working at this location have been great. This review is aimed at their policies in regards to online orders for pick up. I placed an $800 order on April 15th for our Kitchen Remodel. There was a 2-3 business day estimate for the order to be processed. We barely picked up our order yesterday on May 8th. The initial delay was caused by the Vendor delaying the full order over a $20 mat being out of stock. Instead of sending the rest of the order or even notifying us, it was in a perpetual limbo. I eventually had to escalate things because I kept getting the same answer at the local level. When I finally called customer service they were able to find out the true cause of the delay. I told them to cancel the $20 item in question which finally led to us getting the rest of our order. We open up our sink to find it cracked. I now have to delay our kitchen remodel again. Since this is considered a "special order" I cannot exchange this item and must now go through another waiting process which won't be expedited. I do not recommend anyone place any orders online through Lowes. Update: We went to return the sink and reorder a replacement. We are being told it is unavailable for reorder. We have purchased accessories for this sink already. Customer service response was "sorry it's the vendor, there is nothing we can do" instead of offering any solutions or other options. I will never order anything online from Lowes again and I regret giving them business in general. read more

My Wife and I went into the Lowes in Hemet, Ca today. I was looking for help in the Electrical Dept. with Ceiling Fans. We asked an Employee for assistance, he told us it was not his Department. Needed a new clothes dryer so went to Lowe's ordered a dryer and they asked if we would liked to have it delivered the next day yes we would no problem thy would call us at about 8:00pm to give us a delivery window . they didn't call at all so we called the next morning to get an approximate time and they kept making excuses until we got back to sales rep who finally said it was a new delivery system and it would not be delivered until next day but they would call that evening about 8:00pm with delivery window they didn't call at 8pm,9pm or at all sooooooo we had to call the next MORNING and got a window of 8:00am to 12:00 noon it's now 2pm no truck and they finally answered the phone to say they are running a little late LOL great job and good luck getting your FREE delivery you get what you pay for read more
