My Wife and I went into the Lowes in Hemet, Ca today. I was looking for help in the Electrical Dept. with Ceiling Fans. We asked an Employee for assistance, he told us it was not his Department. He sent another Employee to help us. Employee ERNIE came to help us. I was explaining to Ernie about the problems I was having with my Ceiling fan, which I purchased from this Lowes many years ago. After explaining the issue I was having with my ceiling fan, Ernie had a smirk on his face . Ernie said to me "I am just waiting for your question". I felt like this was very rude and condescending. I have worked in the retail industry for almost 40 years. That is DEFINITELY not the way you talk to your Customers. After this interaction with Ernie I went up to Customer Service and asked to speak to a Manager. I spoke with the Manager on Duty (Did not get his name) He was very Nic and helpful. He told me that ERNIE is actually a Manager. I was in total shock that a Manager at this Lowes store talks to Customers like this. I have been shopping at Lowes for 30 plus years. I will NEVER shop at Lowes again. I would rather spend my hard earned money somewhere else read more

Needed a new clothes dryer so went to Lowe's ordered a dryer and they asked if we would liked to have it delivered the next day yes we would no problem thy would call us at about 8:00pm to give us a delivery window . they didn't call at all so we called the next morning to get an approximate time and they kept making excuses until we got back to sales rep who finally said it was a new delivery system and it would not be delivered until next day but they would call that evening about 8:00pm with delivery window they didn't call at 8pm,9pm or at all sooooooo we had to call the next MORNING and got a window of 8:00am to 12:00 noon it's now 2pm no truck and they finally answered the phone to say they are running a little late LOL great job and good luck getting your FREE delivery you get what you pay for read more

We came into Lowe's and I felt like I was cheating on HD. This store is huge and seems to have just as much of a selection however, I did notice the prices are more expensive here. I will probably come back again if needed, but there was nothing screaming we are better than them. I was looking for a 1/2 dowel tip to fit where mine fell off of the chairs during moving. We directed in two separate directions by employees until a customer came over to help. He walked us to the complete other side of the store (I thought he was playing around) to show us exactly where they were. They did not have my size. One of these stars is for your awesome customer who helped us. The other two were for the sweet cashier who cashed my husband's items out. I Purchase an AC Union for my window. I was over a week from the 30 days return policy. They told me they cannot help me it's not my new year they can do any overwrite. I pay $700 for the union. I told him is defected they say only in the store is 30 days it's nothing they can do, I purchase stuff from Home Depot. They pass 30 days and they help you do not go to Lowe's. Paid for with Affirm. waited in garage all morning. got an email when it was delivered, but it wasn't, called Lowe's that it was not here. after several minutes and being tossed around several customer service people and a manager, was finally informed " oh, the driver said he couldn't find your house so he returned it here and we filed a return. No one reached out to me to tell me their driver was incompetent and lied when he said it was delivered; I could have given directions. The only thing they could say was "sorry about that. We frequently shop at this Lowes however, today was very disappointing. Went in to get help with and purchase laminate wood flooring for two rooms. No one was available in the flooring department. We had someone paged to help us and waited 30 minutes. No one showed. We went up front to ask for help and was told there was only one person but no one knew where that person was. I asked the manager, Mickey, about why he has his mask below his mouth and why this employee didn't have to have her mask on either. He said, "It's not the law and we don't have to wear them." I asked what the company policy was and he said "Masks are encouraged to make the customers feel safe" I asked if employees felt any responsibility to stop the spread of Covid and he said, "No. We only wear them to make the customers feel safe." The one star rating is reference an associate named Marcos. U professional and all he wanted to do was argue about not receiving the curbside alert. Even after showing him that I checked in he continued to argue (like a child) about not receiving it. Instead he could had said "I'm sorry for the mixed up, I'll get your order right away." I even checked in again in front of him but he continued to argue in a condescending way. Never had a problem at lowes before but this Kid needs some training in customer service. Ordered a washer and dryer to be installed for my daughter. Well first delivery they went to take out the dryer and it was all smashed in. Had already waited 3 weeks for them. Now no dryer. Rescheduled delivery of a new dryer, had to wait another week. Than they delivered it did not leave parts I paid for abs did not hook up dryer even though I paid extra for them to hook up. My daughter called me and told me they were gone in a flash and told her it was all ready to go. But it was not. Not hooked up to gas line anything. I spent 54 minutes on hold to the Hemet Lowe's. Once the guy finally answered would not help what so ever abs said they had to wait 3-5 days before they can send someone out. I called at 2:03 in the afternoon and says it was to late to send someone. I have always gone inside the Lowe's in Menifee to order not online. Well I well never order online or from the Hemet store again. And as of right now I'm pretty sure going to destroy my Lowe's card and never shop there again. If I could give zero stars I would but It wouldn't let me post this. Save your trouble and if you have to go to Lowe's drive to a different location than Hemet. I purchased a washer and dryer on 6/20/20, delivered on 8/1/20.I was ok with the delay, I understand. The washer didnt work first time I tried it on 8/15/20 so I called GE and I waited until 9/17/20 for them to tell me the parts are on backorder and it will be a couple months. GE told me to go back to where I purchased the washer and ask them for another one. The store manager told me tough luck, they wont do anything over 30 days UNLESS you buy their extended warranty. Ruben the "Dept Mgr" in Garden/BBQ needs some manners. I purchased a grill this afternoon and he seemed to be on the right track with his "customer service" UNTIL, he pushed the flat deck cart to one register and suggested I pay at another that was open. As I proceed to walk over and pay, he loudly announces "fine, guess I'll push it myself". I paid for the item and proceeded to ask him if I should pull my vehicle up to the door. After waiting approximately 3 mins while he talked to another salesperson, he finally acknowledged me standing there patiently and finally answered my question. At loading, he stood there like I was supposed to lift a 160# box into my vehicle. Once I got home and gifted my fiancé with the new purchase, he discovered there was damage to the box and as he unwrapped the parts, there appeared to be substantial damage to the cover. My fiancé went back to the store, made contact with another manager (who was very helpful) and as he proceeded to tell her about my experience, the gentleman denied every bit even to the point of even selling this $600 grill!! I mean honestly, why even been in customer service? Man up and learn some manners! Kudos to the store manager who allowed my fiancé to exchange the busted cover. read more

Always shop at Lowe's, went in today, found my items and went to find a check out, nothing but self scan. I scanned my items, put in my phone nr for my discount, up popped my name, at this time I was contacted by a young lady who ask for my military ID. Not having my military ID since I was discharged in 1964 from the US Army, I produced my retirement card from the Sheriffs Dept., not good enough. Told the young lady that I would leave and not complete my purchase and will not return to that store, I advised her that Home Depot was only one block away and I will shop there from now on. ( I hope I spelled their names right) the other night we went to lowes for things other than a pergola but because I found a pergola on sale from $700 down to $245 I was not going to pass that up don't judge me! Anyway, these guys were amazing!! Their customer service was on point and they also joke and talk to you with no attitudes or anything. I mean they make your time there a happier time. Then after we paid they wouldn't let us struggle with it they went any got special equipment to easily move it and get it into the car. Mind you it was literally 10pm and they did not rush or have an attitude or anything. They were very professional and we are super thalidomide for guys like them!! You could be at the end of the isle and he will address you and he will find you what you are looking for and he will go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. He will give you ideas and show you the ins and outs of sales and all that. Very very sweet guy and he knows his stuff!! Most of the employees there don't speak and you could be right in their faces but nothing. Dont go to the Hemet Lowe's or any Lowes for that matter. We tried to get a BBQ and had a nightmare with the delivery service. WORST ever. They ended up changing it the first time and we dealt with it. Then, they sent another email saying it wasn't going to be at our house AGAIN for another 2 weeks. We then had to cancel our planned BBQ, We were not happy. We reached out to the store and they were almost no help at all. The manager there basically told us that we could settle for a smaller bbq bc the one we wanted was not in stock, and he couldn't give us any other higher up bbqs. we then saw the floor model of the one that was to be delivered to us, it had damage and my fiancé at first didn't want it, i mean why should we settle for a floor model, when you cant figure out your delivery service?! so he pushed the floor model on us and discounted it just to get us out of the store needless to say we didn't get a brand new bbq due to Lowes incompetence's and we will never shop there again. Dealing with the delivery department at Lowes Hemet, CA was the worst experience I have ever had. Such horrible customer service experience that we ended up cancelling our $7,000 order because of the distrust we had with the exployees. The delivery driver "Marlon" as it said online kept pushing our order back to delayed status until 8pm where it wasn't delivered. No phone call, no update, just us left wondering where our appliances were and checking online every hour. We called and spoke with store manager Ricky at 8pm who said the delivery driver said he tried to call us, tried knocking on the door and took a picture of our door. We were home and received no phone calls. He said the door in the picture had a wreath on it, which we do not so he said he didn't know what happened and would get them out there first thing in the morning and that he spoke with the day manager Noe/Noah? to make sure everyone was updated. We called in the morning to make sure everything had been relayed to Noah and they said nothing had been relayed and delivery drivers aren't even there yet and they will call us once they are to confirm. I told Noah that our food has been sitting out all night since they failed to deliver and if it isn't the first delivery this morning we will cancel. Noah agreed to make this first delivery and would call me back once things are in place. This is where the customer service just falls apart. At 11:00AM, still no call back and we call Noah who basically says delivery drivers are doing their deliveries out of town and usually don't do Yucaipa on this day and they are not sure if and when we are getting our delivery. We keep getting rushed off the phone, hung up on, and when we call back it takes 15+ min for anyone to answer the phone. I told Noah that I have never had someone mess us and be so rude and no compassion for even an "I'm sorry for your trouble." We were avid shoppers at Lowes and just bought a home so we planned to do our floors and cabinets with Lowes as well, but because of the lying and rude employees at our closest store, they have ruined our experience for Lowes and will be going elsewhere. read more

Ordered a refrigerator online, a week later they call at 839 on a Sunday night to deliver it Monday between 8 & 10. 9am Monday morning they call, and tell me the truck broke down last night and they will call back with a time for Tuesday (today). 730 Monday night they call to set delivery from 8-10 again, and at 1022, no refrigerator. I call the delivery company and they say I'm set up for 2-4 delivery...seriously? I've now lost 2 days of work waiting for a clown delivery service to bring me my refrigerator they at is literally 1/2 mile away. Spinal surgery 4 months ago prohibits me from just gong and picking up the freakin fridge myself! Completely unprofessional. Lowes might want to rethink the delivery contractors. Best Buy and shine Depot have the exact same refrigerator for the same price and I'm kicking myself for sticking with Lowes. read more

I have officially met the two most rude and useless humans in the world, and they go by the names of Taylor and Hendri. I can't even begin to explain my frustrations through this review but I will be reaching out to the manager and corporate. I spent way too much money buying all of my flooring supplies for my entire home to be treated like absolute trash. I'm not sure if it's because I'm a younger homeowner and/or female, but I have never felt so disrespected. The only reason why I didn't cancel my purchase is because Home Depot did not have the same flooring. There are however a few smiling faces working in that building, somehow. I dealt with two nice and helpful employees by the names of Doug and Adam for the other half of my pickup. If you have the option of requesting to work with certain people in the pick up area, I would highly recommend doing everything you possibly can to avoid the first two in my review, and hopefully you'll get the opportunity to work with a Doug and Adam. There was also a girl at the register who was extremely nice and helpful but I unfortunately did not get her name. The two rude gentleman seemed to treat her poorly as well. read more

Shelves and bins have the wrong items in them making shopping here difficult. I understand when it happens on a busy weekend but this has been a problem for years. And staff is just standing around when they could be sorting shelves. It's an easy fun job. I spend a couple minutes every visit cuz good people leave a place better than they found it. Price stickers are on often on the female end of a fitting so they must be removed to use the fitting. But Lowes uses the super cheap stickers that do not come off without solvent. Simply bad training and a poorly run store. I met with the manager a couple years ago about an issue. He was super cool and said he was working on things we discussed. He either got transferred or he needs to be demoted to 'Organizer'. Purchased a Refrigerator to replace the one that was broke and leaking at my house with assurances that it could be delivered and installed the Next Day. Well that didn't happen, they called me the next day to tell me that there wasn't any more room on truck to make my delivery. Great for someone, but not necessarily me. Very unprofessional customer service at the local store level. I was able to speak with a National Customer Service representative that was better prepared to help me and answer my questions; she contacted the store that eventually still led me to cancel my order but at least I received customer service. I no longer intend to purchase from Lowes, at the very least not from the Lowes store in Hemet. read more
