Wow! Stay away. Tried to order a washer/dryer online, then work with the local Lowe's people to get it delivered (weeks later during the first available window). I stayed home from work two days in a row during my delivery windows, still have nothing. Suddenly they are UNABLE to process credit cards from online orders for delivery, so then they wanted me after the SECOND day I stayed home, to go into the store to swipe the card in person. I love these type of stores because I like the challenge to fix it on my own. This store is not part of a shopping center and is totally off on its own. Entry isn't the most convenient as you can only get into the parking lot if you are headed south bound on Route 35. I have never found it to be crowded. The place is always clean and there is someone available most of the time to answer questions. Knowledgeable people who work there to assist in getting you the right parts so you can fix on your own. Broken toilet no problem, just tell them the model number, make and they will get you what you need. I also brought a picture with me to show them exactly what I was talking about. Problem fixed within 30 minutes of getting home. Also needed some advice on a snowblower and my generator the other day and "Jack" aka Jacqueline was very informative with all her advise. The Lowes sales guy George who is some kind f cal salesman who promised me a certain date, straight install, proper clean up by Lowes gear wearing employees.Wrong they show up cursing yelling blocking my road. Told me to move my *** car while saying other nice words. So they were loud rude took many breaks and were complaining the rains coming we most likely cant finish while taking so many breaks, So they worked a total of maybe 2 hrs. There are so many things they did that day here are a few . They installed my fence gates so far off my house, installed it with huge gaps, had no survey installed in not on my property line 9 inches short.Latches weren't working, the fence had to be repaired several times cause the gates were falling down and post sinking. They left so much debris and my son 2 years old was playing with all the glass they dug up and left behind. So I contact corporate they blew me off for some time then after 40 or so calls I go them to make the gates better . They told me I had no choice but for the same yahoos to come out . They came and weeks later the latches werent working again and the fence gates were not opening cause they never re enforced the post or made them level . Now after 60 -70 phone calls and emails they finally get a few other guys to come out and they did a ok job coulda been a little better they also left huge gaps on the gates. I went through almost 100 emails and was over charged compared to other estimates I had before I hired Lowes thinking they would be the best I was wrong. The people at the Lowes store were rude also . They gave me 600 off a fence and made me sign a waiver but then the fence needed work right after so they tried to say hey you signed off on the fence, I really hate this company . I want more money off cause it took 6 months 70 phone calls and a hundred emails. My time and was overcharged to begin with . I have received no officially apology. Lowes needs to realize I paid for a product and signed a contract that wasnt done in a timely fashion. I owe thousand on a install that has cost me my time and treated like ***. I want more MOney back . DONT USE LOWES . Google the issues people have had they are no good.They hire 3rd party unskilled people. read more

Worst customer service, don't even go there. Choose any other place but not this one!! Order fence, Lowe's called me that it's ready for pickup, rented a trailer and when I got there they said it not there! When I drove around the back I saw packages with my name on it, when back to the store and they said it's not ready for pickup!! read more

My husband and I went to the Holmdel store today and spent $200.00. My husband has a Veterans card which entitles him to a 10 percent discount They tell him he cannot use it he has to register online with Lowe's. Tried that...The website says register in the store..This is what happens when you hire people for $11.00 an hour. Step up your game Lowe's!! read more

If I could give 0 STARS I would. Management is TERRIBLE - I had a scheduled time to meet with the kitchen designer TWICE non the less , both NO SHOWS. After going in the man sitting there HELPING NO ONE - and not having another appt for 2.5 hours - he still refused to help me without an appointment. Absolutely no hep in that department. No one knew anything about cabinets. I show up for my appointment and the designer called out of work. I got a babysitter , my father was in the hospital there was so much going on and I revolved my entire day around the 12:30 appt. After I waited a half hour sitting there and FINALLY going to management they tell me Anthony Mitchell never showed up for work this morning. If someone is going to spend that type of money how dare they not at least give the courtesy of a phone call. My mother traveled 45 minutes to get to me for 12:30. I ordered a toilet bowl and seat online for on store pickup After waiting 20 minutes at the desk waiting to speak with someone and another 40 minutes for my order to be brought up front only to have the pallet left in the aisle without anyone saying it was there. We picked up the item and walked out when we got it home we found out the seat was missing We ordered from another store and it took me an hour to have the order canceled and the payment reversed. Also the store manager implied that I was lying about receiving the seat even though they had the it and order form in their hands. read more

The worst customer service was put on hold for half he when I was trying to ask a question on a patches that was missing some items I kept on getting transferred to the department & then the call was disconnected I will never buy @ this location I rather shop @ Home Depot down the block where the service is 100% excellent everyone in the store is so helpful from the minute you walk in!!!!! read more

In the Lowes Dept Kathy Kouack took her time and patience to explain to us with the blind measurements we gave her, how much was needed to b cut. She was also helpful w a few other questions we asked her. We give her a 5 star review which my iPad could not punch in. I've were so impressed w her knowledge on a few other departments in your store I asked her how many years she has been working in Lowes. Her answer: 17 years! read more

My mother went to the Lowes in Holmdel Nj on 5.17. She bought 2 bags of mulch. At the checkout. She asked the person. Can someone carry the bags to my car. Since my mom is handicapped. She has MS. The person at the checkout. Said sure. So my mom heard the announcement and waited by the mulch for someone to come and help her. Five minutes goes by. Nothing happened. So she walks back to the checkout and asks again. The person says sure . Ten minutes or so goes by ( she texted me. But I was on the train from work and wasnt close ) and still no one comes to help her. She then goes a third time. And still no one helped her. So she ended up doing it herself. And then later on that night was suffering. Since she had to pickup 2 bags of 1.5 cu feet of mulch. I know what your thinking. Why didnt she come back later and do it. Well she didnt since she had already paid for it. Plus your company probably wouldnt have believed her. SO is this how you treat customers and the handicapped now? read more

I agree with all of the TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE messages. I placed an order for delivery and got a call the night before confirming delivery timeframe. My wife stayed home from work but no one ever showed. When I called, Lowe's denied that I was set up for delivery, but promised delivery the following day. I called during the day and got confirmation that our order was indeed on the truck for delivery. It never happened. You cannot trust anything that the people at this Lowe's store tell you. Purchased a Door with sidelight, installer installed the door which was cut too small,was told would send a new one out,2 months later no new door,was told to deal with the manufacturer Masonite,no help from Masonite,called numerous times,hung up on from the incompetent,rude clerks in the Millworks department,finally spoke to the store manager who was a HUGH HELP and resolved my problem by refunding me for all but the door,for future reference to myself and everyone else,deal with the store manager in LOWES. read more

I recently call Lowe's of Eatontown to come to give me an estimate on fencing and install. Prior to calling Lowe's , I also received five other estimates from near and far. Much to my surprise, Lowes estimate was three times higher than the highest price. Every company that gave me an estimate used grade one or grade A fencing. anyone thats been to Lowes should know they don't carry any grade A whatsoever. I would be lucky if what I bought would not warp or crack within days. My suggestions call for other estimates before using Lowe's ! read more

Nothing that I can say but TERRIBLE service. Went in yesterday 05/26/17 and bought a grill and paid for pick up later. We went in later in the afternoon to pick up the rental and grill to bring home and the rental was given to someone else because they "didn't have us in the system for pick up later". The service manager told us he would arrange for the grill to be delivered and no other cost today 05/27/17 in the afternoon so we agreed. 7pm came and I called Lowes and they said the grill was put in as delivered and signed for! Yet we didn't get anything! They said they would call back so that they could do more research. I ended up calling them because they were calling a number that I specifically told them not to call because the number isn't used. Come to find out the driver went back to the store with the ticket and no grill. They don't know where the grill is! Meanwhile I have company at my house patiently waiting for dinner since it's Memorial Day weekend clearly! I was offered a different grill however I would have to pick it up! UNACCEPTABLE! I cannot believe that I had to leave my company at home, to go to Lowes and pick up my return receipt because at this point I wanted a refund and don't want anything to do with this lousy place. Called the Holmdel nj store 10 am .to check on a tile that the web site said they had the first person who picked up said yes we have them I'll have them check the shelf. After 15 minutes I was just hung up on. Called back again this i was again waiting for someone to just puck up the phone. Another 15 minutes of waiting for the second time just pick up and then hung up on. Called back a third time and finally someone picked up and was going to check but never came back to the phone and you guess it was hung up on for the third time. So since the first person was sure it was in stock . I drove the 30 minutes to the store. Went to the flooring dept and was told they don't have them .and can't do anything SO i went to the customer service desk to be told the same thing. Now after being treated like I'm bothering them I asked for the manager on duty and explained the run around I am getting from his employees. I know a customer wanting to buy something go figure. The manager on duty said I'll give you 10 percent off thrive as a 4 pack that costs 26 dollars but the tile I wanted and called about and spoke to store employees about are single pack at 2 dollars each so the 8 I needed should cost me 16 dollars plus tax and the manager on duty said I'll give you 10% off the 2 four packs at the cost of 52 dollars? REALLY . And the best part of it all . I called the customer service line listed and went on hold .... So I will let everyone know that this place don't want to have customers and we are replaceable....... read more
