From the very beginning, Joe was incredibly easy to work with, knowledgeable, and most importantly, honest. When he came out for the estimate, he brought several turf options for us to compare. Since we have a dog, one of my biggest concerns was cleanliness -- especially how easy it would be to clean and whether pet waste would become a problem over time. Joe recommended a specific turf product that he felt would work best for our situation and assured us we wouldn't have issues. He was absolutely right. The turf was installed last August, and now that we're into May, it still looks fantastic and has been extremely easy to maintain. No odors, no mess, and no issues at all. The installation itself took two days, and the crew was excellent throughout the entire process. Everyone was friendly, respectful, hardworking, and they left the property spotless when the job was done. There are a lot of companies in Queens offering this type of work, but I truly can't recommend Joe enough. Our daughter has been able to fully enjoy the yard with her friends, and it's completely changed how we use our outdoor space. The owner was adamant about not being able to cancel and told my husband that we should have planned better. He told my husband it was too late, that the sod was already cut and that we had no choice but to take the delivery today. We planned to spend the next few days installing sod in the pouring rain. My husband then took the day off work (which he doesn't get paid for) and stayed home to wait for the delivery which they said would be between 8 and 10 am. At a little after 10am he received a phone call stating that they found someone else to take our delivery and wouldn't be bringing it today. My husband told them that he already took the day off so they could make the delivery and the owner advised him that it was too late they already dropped if off somewhere else. My husband asked them to cut more sod and deliver it so we didn't waste a day with no pay and he said they only cut sod once a day so sorry. He then argued with my husband saying that they did us a favor. I find this way of doing business unacceptable. Instead of delivering as they had advised that morning and said we had no choice, they sent it to someone else. We're now out $300 for a days pay and no sod! We will never attempt to do business with them again and we recommend everyone else do the same! If I could rate them 0 stars I would have. We're taking our business to Reid next time!
