I got a freezer in June, and immediately the gasket/seal has started leaking warm air into the freezer, causing condensation/frost build up in one corner. The manufacturer was unable to get a non-defective gasket part from "their inventory." That's the background. I booked an appt with this company, explaining I knew what was wrong with it because the manufacturer's technician told me, and gave them the model and part number. When the tech arrived, I told him I had received an additional gasket part but it was also defective. There is a language barrier so maybe that didn't help, but he said he could try that gasket and I thought, if it happened to work, that would be great. He seemed confident, I relied on that. Looking back, a repair tech who still suggests installing a defective part, should have been a red flag. He installs it - it takes less than 5 minutes and it is something I realize I could have done, then puts silicone goop on the gasket, and tapes the freezer shut and tells me not to open the freezer until the following morning so the silicone goop can "form" to the gasket? I knew the service visit was $74.99, but that 5 minutes of putting in the gasket ended up over $200. Steep but I was willing to get this problem resolved. The following morning, I remove the tape/open the freezer and my freezer was off. Somehow when he was here, it got turned off. At first I thought he turned it off (and forgot to turn it back on) for some diagnostic reason. Now, I think he must have bumped the powerstrip on the ground when he was putting the gasket in, because he was literally the last one to touch the freezer/be in that specific area. Either way - I have $400+ of butcherbox meat/food for my dogs having almost completely thawed. I called and very kindly explained what had happened and that he must have either turned it off and forgot to turn it back on at the power strip or accidentally bumped it. I received texts from the company, insisting the tech didn't do it and I was there so I should have noticed something. I'm not watching him like a hawk or recording him, I didn't think I would have to. The manager, Dana, basically repeats that the tech didn't do it and that I was there the whole time. Their version also includes me having a new part gasket replacement and not defective, like I told the technician. Didn't ask for details of the food affected, didn't ask for pictures, videos, ANYTHING. I did take pictures and videos, unfortunately I didn't record the technician because I didn't think this was that kind of company. I was able to save most of the food. But now I'm out that $200 plus $75-$100 of food, and my freezer gasket is worse than it was before and now it's goopy/sticky. They offered to come and look at it, and that is definitely not what I wanted, I wish I never hired them, they made the problem WORSE. If you have an appliance that isn't working, and just want to hire a company to come and solve those problems, this isn't the company. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! If I could give negative stars I would. I have a dryer that does four way venting. I needed it switched from rear to side venting. When I called they said they could definitely do that and scheduled me. The person they sent was AWFUL!!! He had no idea what he was doing, pretended like he did until he got the whole dryer taken apart and then said "oh you can't side vent this because there's not a hole here" when there is a knock out clearly marked and it says it in the manual that you can do it. Then he tried to charge me $79 for not knowing what he was doing. When I refused he got very aggressive and more rude. He called me stupid and threatened me when he left, repeatedly saying he "would see me soon". As a women it was TERRIFYING. Im really glad my husband was here but I would be so scared if he was in the house with a woman by himself. Frankly, call literally ANYONE ELSE before you call these horrible people. Also, in case they try to say the dryer isn't four way venting the model is GTD58EBPVDG It literally says it in the manual. read more

They arrived at the end of the time window, and instead of one person there were two, and the person they said would come ( they send a picture) was not the same and the picture seamed of a fictional person. Apart from that they identified what was wrong with it and gave me the price of each part. My freezer base was broken and the slides, they said that was what caused the ice to be so thick and create a layer on top of the food. The repair was going to coast me $700. I declined the fix and paid $75 for the diagnosis. Payment process was fast. Had to sacrifice two towels myself as they did not come prepared for this portion but they left my kitchen floor not messy, which I appreciate. They left it the same as they found it in terms of cleaning. They offered to put back the base of the fridge and was put back in a way that made id very hard to reopen my fridge, but I'm very strong so I was able to actually put it back as it was. Overall experience I can say was decent and it was safe but I would probably try someone else next time to compare the experience. read more
