I wonder how this place can stay open. Came in at 7:00pm to purchase a washer dryer set and waited for 30 minutes for them to send someone to the appliance area, no one came over, we went back to customer service to ask where is help and they said that the appliance guy already went home at 6:30pm. And the store closes at 9! They must not expect to have any business for the last three hours. The girl at customer service was quite rude. Special ordered a dryer. Gave it the time my order specified then I tried calling. Seven phone calls, no human!!!! Call dropped, transfered, 'I'll call you back I'm with a customer'. Next day, same thing. I went in , picked it up myself (Free Delivery, HA!). Sticker on the wrapping plainly stated the arrival date at the stor....SIX days ago!!! Six days, no call, I cant contact them. I've had it with them. Understaffed in store also. read more

Receiving department is run by a rude person that wastes delivery driver's time seemingly on purpose. Flatout lies too to try to justify the rudeness and time wasting. The other day there's four dedicated receiving employees just standing there, the boss and three others, and they wouldn't answer the phone, two or more times. Saw it with my own eyes. Rude, disrespectful and condescending is no way operate. Not like that at other Lowe's, just Kalispell. read more

I was told the refund will take another 7 days to process. Please don't buy from Lowes, it was the worst experience of any store ever. I can understand some of the reviews here as I have had mixed feelings about Lowes and the way they operate including this store as I have some of the same experiences with inexperienced and lackluster service and help in the store. However I am rating this post as a 5 star based on a recent issue that I had with an online purchase that Lowes direct customer service refused to correct and honor on my purchase but this local store found a solution in 5 minutes. I purchased a Dewalt miter saw online for $399 and it came with a $249 stand as a free add on item. When I purchased online it stated that the stand was in stock and would be delivered. A couple days after my purchase I received an email from Lowes stating the stand was now back ordered and required that I call in or reply to the email to get on a "list" of people who still wanted this item (of course I did) and if I didn't reply within 36 hours they would cancel it anyway. I called in and emailed and was told I was on the list to receive once they were available. I then received the same email a few days later (clearly lowes was trying to get me to cancel or find a reason to cancel on my own to free them of the requirement to deliver what I ordered). Once again I replied and talked to customer service 800# and was assured that this would be honored. Once again I received the same email but when I called in they refused to honor delivery on this item even though they had no issue in taking my money. They told me that the item would no longer be available and that they had no reason to honor the purchase because the ad said "while supplies last". That would be fine except when I made the purchase it said the item was available and would be delivered for pick up at the store. I told them that I would accept a gift card or store credit so that I could select another stand of equal or lesser value but they refused again hiding behind the "while supplies last" statement. I will note that this customer service call in was somewhere in Costa Rica or someplace and the low wage phone workers were about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. Sooooooo........ I made the choice to stop by my local Lowes to see if they would honor this item and talked to Michael who was the customer service manager. Within 5 minutes he looked up my order, understood the issue and without any questions, honored my purchase by finding a unit in WA and had it shipped in yesterday for my pickup (which I did). SO after a few weeks of chasing Lowes corporate customer service and wasting allot of my time and stressing over this it took Michael 5 minutes to fix the problem because he saw the benefit in not losing a customer and one that will be spending $200K+ on remodel this year. Thank you Michael once again for making this right and Lowes should use you as a shining example of what customer service should be and how to honor the agreements that you have with your customers when they spend money at your establishment. Perhaps you should promote Michael to head up your customer service. read more

In May, 2020, I contacted Lowe's to have a privacy fence installed. Vern, the salesman, came to my house twice and on the second visit, which occurred in June, 2020, I wrote a check for the full price of the fence (almost $14,000). I was told it would take about 5 weeks to have the fence installed and they would call me for an installation. Well, I've heard every excuse in the book -- COVID, delayed shipping, order was processed incorrectly on three different times, etc. I call and one time I'm told all the material is in, the next time, we are "just waiting on one item" and it is a joke. I don't believe them and am considering legal action. It is now October 16th and I don't have a fence, I don't have an install date, and I'm out $14,000. This is Montana. . .winter is setting in. Just shameful service. I can't recommend their fencing service to anyone and my neighbor originally was considering - I told her to reconsider to any place but Lowe's. read more

We purchased a fridge in Aug of 2017 and also purchased the extended warranty . while it was delivered promptly we quickly realized it did not work . I called and explained and they ordered another unit immediately and said they would deliver as soon as it arrived . Well it arrived a week later and they delivered it and unpacked the box in our home , WRONG COLOR. They apologized and ordered yet another time . It arrived and much to my EXTREME disbelief, it was the WRONG COLOR AGAIN!!!! I was BEYOND furious . Finally on the 4th try we actually received the correct item . Fast forward not even 2 years and the fridge completely dies out of the blue - causing us to lose an entire fridge and freezer full of food . I called to inquire as to how it would be handled since we had purchased the extended warranty - I was informed that they could get a repair company out on July 9th - this was on June 20th . I expressed my frustration with that timeline - and the representative said he was going to look into getting us a replacement instead . A few days went by and I heard nothing so I called again and finally got them to send us a check to cover the replacement fridge if we re purchased one out of pocket . I ordered it online and it was delivered this am . I was not at home but my brother had stopped by to be there for the delivery - and this was the picture he sent me of the damaged fridge that they just left at my house . I am disgusted and furious with Lowe's and their customer service . This store houses the most incompetent staff of people I've ever dealt with. My husband and I made the mistake of buying several appliances here. Each purchase came with a world of headaches. The last one, a dishwasher, has taken us 4 months to resolve...and we're still waiting for the warranty to be updated. The salesperson was clueless, the follow up was horrendous. They sent the wrong model to installation. They overcharged us and put the "refund" on a gift card I had to pick up. When I went to pick it up, they gave me the wrong one, requiring yet another trip back to deal with their mistake. They finally installed a dishwasher we can live with, but can't seem to update the extended warranty that we paid for 4 MONTHS AGO, to reflect the fact that we just received the dishwasher. My husband and I have dealt with every manager, and still can't get this resolved. No one answers our calls. The General Manager who was initially helpful is now always "out of town". I regret that all of my warranties are through Lowes, because in under a year, the dryer I bought there is now dying. Even the simplest transactions boggle this team's mind. Do yourself a favor, and shop elsewhere. I know I will. read more

I continue to receive such poor, angry customer service that I feel I need to write a review. A specific woman that works in the paint department and now in the customer service department has provided such haughty responses to my needs that I feel she is in the wrong profession. Exchanges and returns have been almost embarrassing here. One woman actually told me that if she had to give me cash back for a return that everyone after me wouldn't receive cash. I felt bad for the customers after me, though I don't feel my return should have been something to make me feel bad about. Customer service is just that, and if they choose to treat customers poorly then they should be working away from the public. read more

This Lowes ranks right up there with the WORST business in town. We encountered a very rude employee that actually told us his "give a crap meter was at zero" when we were attempting to buy a pallet of quickcrete. I completed their complaint form online in hopes that a manager would call me so I could provide them complete details on the unpleasant encounter, guess what - after repeated requests online, NO ONE ever called me back. If I were you, I would take my business across the street to Home Depot, they actually care about customer service unlike this Lowes. Buy at your own risk and hope that you never need to speak with management because they clearly do not care enough to call their customers back that have a bad experience. I can somewhat understand where the employee got his attitude, probably because managements "give a crap meter" is also at zero. read more

I was on a mission to find a paint match for my living room wall. I scratched it in a few places, and had a small sample of it to bring in. The first man took one look at the piece and told me it wouldn't work in their machine. His suggestion was to repaint the entire wall or room. Not an option. So, I attempted to match it myself (note; I am VERY colorblind). After a few minutes, a younger blonde woman, who also works paint dept, came over to ask if she could help. Despite the small sample I brought in, she said she would do her best, and spent the next 30 minutes on the computer and mixing the paint. Then she showed me what she had and I brought it home and used it. It matched perfectly. I don't remember this woman's name, but she should get a raise. The entire store should strive to be a fraction of how she is in the store. Props to her and I will definitely be back there for paint, as long as she's working. read more

Purchased 2 dishwashers and a fridge at Kalispell MT Lowes with anticipation to receive offered rebate of $300 for 3 Kitchen Aid products package. Verified with an associate to check rules of rebate to make sure that I would qualify for $300 what she said yes to. When filed for rebate, was told that I don't qualify because my dishwashers were identical models and counted as one item. After expressing my disapproval, rebate department associate said that she will do it this time for me. When rebate check arrived in mail, it was not for $300, but for $200. Very disappointed with this ordeal! I don't have time to deal with this. I already spent full day on shopping for the products. The only reason I have purchased a $2K fridge was with anticipation of a $300 rebate. Will avoid shopping there for now. Too bad for them. Poor business practice. The $100 will cost them far more! Home depot will get my business from now on. read more
