I cannot begin to express how amazing my experience at Michaels was because of Grace. I was completely lost in the store. Grace helped me out every step of the way. I was purchasing a ton of stuff and knew where nothing was. She never once got frustrated with all my questions. She was so kind a cheerful the entire time. She never made me feel like I was bothering her. She walked me to any item and helped me find the exact things I was looking for. She helped me find great deals! I have to give this store indeed 5 stars. I was looking for a frame to frame a t-shirt that I purchased from Amsterdam. I looked online to see what they had close to what I needed to complete this task. I was in search to spend about $40, but Lord and behold I spent less than $20 for shadow box frame that was on clearance that was orig. $42. The only thing I would have to do is remove the clips so the shirt can lay flat. read more

Oh my gosh I love Michael's especially when you're a reward member and you get coupons in the mail. Never fails I get a %25 off entire order even sale items. Came in once and forgot my coupon st home and the gal at check out had one and gave it to me, now that's service. Lines are never really too long but if it gets that way they always are quick to call for help. You can actually fulfill all your crafting needs here or if you're not a crafter they even carry baking items. Chocolate melts, decorating tips etc. Nice and organized store with friendly staff. read more

I was incorrectly charged for my purchase and apparently the only way to get that rectified is to return to the store. Expecting a customer to take a two and a half hour round trip to get refunded for the store's mistake is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. Oh and don't bother contacting their customer support number. Worst customer service I have ever received. read more

Headed in for a few frames and some odds and ends. Staff was helpful in assisting me navigate the shop I was not all that familiar with. Which was very beneficial because otherwise I likely would have been roaming around for some time. Plenty of items for the creative mind. I did feel a bit 'trapped' when checking out. Similar to approaching the TSA lines at the airport. The isle to checkout just sort of meander around with only one clerk at the checkout counter. The second appeared after a few minutes. Service was good though overall. The heavy crafters who shop here often should weigh-in. Four stars as a good jumping in point. read more

I have been a long-time customer of Michael's and have spent probably hundreds of dollars here. After tonight's experience I will be taking my business to Hobby Lobby or somewhere else. I am disappointed I was unable to get her name, but a long, dark- haired staff member left nothing but a sour taste in my mouth. The minute my sister and I walked in thre for she rudely remarked that it was 20 minutes until closing so we needed to hurry up. (Mind you there were additional customers and not ONCE did she remark to any of them.) 4 more times she counted down the time and told us to hurry. We were already hurrying, trying to be courteous of their time as well. To add a cherry on top as we were exiting the store right on time (the checker was slow so we were delayed an additional minute and there was still another customer in line behind us.) she, in yet another very rude tone, made the remark that the doors were shut because we should have come on time so everyone can leave on time.... Keep in mind she had just started vacuuming and there was still the shopper behind us (who she did not make a remark to.) so even if we were out the door a moment earlier she still would have been there. All it takes is one terrible employee to ruin a store's reputation and she is that person. I held my tongue and merely apologized AGAIN and left. Don't waste your time at the Kalispell Michael's because this is what passes for customer service now I guess. At my job I am held up EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. by clients for at least 30 minutes so a mere couple is nothing. By the time we got settled in or car it was only 2 minutes past closing. I'm sorry to say never again. read more
