Three strikes, Lowes. Strike 1 - At 9:12 AM I order online to pick up at this store. Just some fertilizer and ant killer. 2:58 PM Order is ready but at wrong store so I cancel. Strike 2 - I re-order and override each item for Cinco Ranch store. 5 min later I get an email that instead of 7/18, order won't be ready for pickup until 7/26. Cancel. Strike 3 - I go to Cinco Ranch store in person. Ask for help locating Over N' Out ant killer. Got vague incorrect instructions. Finally found suitable items, and went to check out. ONE register open. TEN customers in line, 6 feet apart. I walked out. I won't be back. To ANY Lowes. read more

What a beautiful store. Everything is clean, the employees are friendly and looking to help everyone. They did an excellent job making this new location up to the highest level of quality I've ever see at a Lowe's before. In a perfect location as well, making it easy to access for several neighborhoods. Big issue for me was that I spent an hour picking out boards and wood to be cut for a DIY project, went back to the back to get it cut only to find out the saw was broken. I was in here the 2nd day this store was even open - how in the world is it broken already?! It should be a brand new saw! And if it was broken maybe they should give a heads up to customers in the carpentry department before they waste an hour searching. Although frustrating I won't take more than 1 star away since they were still friendly about turning me away and apologizing. Other than this it was all great. read more

I have been trying to get a particular type of screw from this Lowe's since the first week they opened . I have gone round and round with all of management.The other Lowe's carry it but this is across the street from my house.If I'm going to be put out by the added traffic and noise at least offer what the other Lowe's offer. I have been dealing with Jeff since April 20th he says he's trying to get them ordered in. either Lowe's does not want my business or the manufacturer of the screws does not want my business.I feel like everybody just really doesn't care about the little guy who needs these to keep his jobs going and his customers happy. We are now 8 months in trying to get product Today over an hour begging them to get what the other Lowe's has in stock. Really difficult team to deal with. I bought an extended warranty for my lawn mower and made an order repair for it. Fast forward two weeks and my lawn mower has been sitting in receiving untouched. I spoke with James and Sunny the two available managers and they assured me that there was nothing that they could do. Not only have I waited to two weeks so cut my lawn but now I have to wait another week and they're not even sure if it's fixable. read more

I used Lowe's to update my on-suite bathroom. What a mistake. It took them 6 months because they kept measuring the marble incorrectly and it kept arriving too small for the bathroom. The first contractor they sent used only handy men who removed pipes under the sinks and left them dripping in a bucket almost flooding the bedroom's newly laid hardwood floors. The sent another contractor who was an improvement. There are still things which need to be completed, I've called and even walked a letter in to the office detailing what needs fixing. This place has a fatalistic, malignant aura of oblivion and despair. Save yourself, stay away. I have thought of mounting a sign on the front door that reads "Abandon Hope All Ye Who Enter Here". So close to my house and yet I will never go there again. I purchased a floor item with the promise that a missing piece would be ordered and replaced. They have disavowed the promise and I have a non-functioning item (yes I have a receipt). Not the first time I have been ignored. Employees hide in "no camera" zones. Managers are absent and do not respond - I waited for 20 minutes as the "Customer Service" staff called and paged a manager to come talk to me. The Customer Service staff have no choice but to call on a manager because they do not have the appropriate delegated authority to resolve routine issues that you must go to the service desk to have handled. "Customer Service = Purgatory". I called the store - the phone skipped around the store for 60 rings ... no answer (you can hear the switching as the call gets switched from department to department). A leading indicator of a problem work place is staff attrition rate. All but one of the people I met who were knowledgeable, helpful and personable are gone. I know a former employee who told me about trying to get managers to answer the phone or come handle things - they just don't. To the guy who wrote "boo hoo" ... Yet another crappy experience from a location that has nothing but a history of crappy experiences. I wanted to return a tool - an unused tool in an unopened box. It was 90 days past the day of purchase so they gave me some grief about it. I've been shopping at Lowe's for 30 years and I've absolutely NEVER had a problem returning something beyond 90 days. They will always simply issue a store credit, rather than a refund. Not at this location though. At this location, you have to get one of their incredibly shitty managers - in this case it was Nickhole (ya cool spelling), who had to flex her manager status in front of the other employees by refusing me any assistance unless I let her be in complete control of the situation by not even speaking to her because she's so cool and powerful in her stupid red vest. She tried to quiz me on the return policy, and then insisted that my receipt clearly stated no returns after 90 days. The receipts don't say that. They simply refer to you the stores posted policy. Anyway, NickHOLE doesn't understand the difference obviously between returning something for credit (which is what I had stated clearly to several people multiple times) versus refunding the cost to my credit card. NickHOLE just doesn't know how to listen because she wants everyone to hear her talk. It's no wonder this store turns staff so quickly. We went to buy a fridge and it took us approximately 20 minutes to find somebody that could help us purchase one. We were told the fridge was in their warehouse but could be delivered by the next weekend. We scheduled delivery for Sunday and on Saturday at noon they called us to tell us that the fridge was not in from the warehouse yet and that they would call us the next Saturday to provide us with an "update". I felt that the short-noticed phone call was unacceptable as well as waiting another whole week just for an update. Needless to say, I got my refund, took my business elsewhere, and received the same fridge for the same price within 3 days. Not to mention, after we finally placed our order for the fridge at Lowe's, we were told to go up to a cash register to pay for it. No directions other than that very vague statement. We went up to one of the only cash registers open and were checked out by a young high school student who had her friend (who was not an employee) standing by and chatting with her. The whole process from placing the order to getting a refund was strange and unprofessional in my opinion. read more

I bought a weed eater last weekend. The string would not come out properly so I returned it with my receipt. The guy asked why I was returning it. I said it doesn't work properly. He then said we can't take it back because it's been used. How is the ---- was I to know it didn't work unless I used it. The manager finally came over and said to give the refund. Guy at the counter was so very rude and uniformed of the stores policy. He caused a problem and scene that didn't need to occur. read more

I wish I have the option to give zero star Lowe's is the worst company from customer service perspective I don't understand how they have people standing at door on the way in and out to greet you (which they rarely do and if they do it's 100% percent fake) so they have people at the door to do nothing and no sales people to help you with anything. If you're lucky to find a sales person after waiting a long time they're very incompetent and with the worst sales and service experience. This is by far the WORST Lowes I have ever been to. We've been here on 4 occasions and EACH TIME the customer service was horrible. - On the last visit, my husband needed a large tool box. An associate had to take it down from the top shelf. My husband asked if the associate could bring it to the register (as my husband already had his hands full). The response was "we don't do that". Luckily, another shopper overheard and helped my husband. - At a previous visit, a dryer vent was not ringing up on checkout - the cashier looked at us and said "can you go get another one?" (the dryer vents are at the opposite corner of the store). We refused and he asked me to look up the price. I spent 10 minutes searching the Lowe's website for the price, holding up the line, eventually finding it. I have no idea why the employees can't check their own system. We avoid this Lowe's at all costs. Will be reporting this location to corporate. read more

Don't bother trying to reach the store if you have an issue. I have called a half dozen times through their "helpful" automated answering system. I push the appropriate button and they immediately hang up. So, tried the website. Pop up box says call the store....yeah! So called their toll free number...30 minutes later and still no human. I am going to have to go to the store and kick over some displays to get these morons attention. I am a contractor and probably spend $150,000.00 a year with Lowes. Very clean, organized..... but I don't know if maybe I looked like someone they didn't wanna help, or they just avoid customers here, but literally wandered around looking for stuff, during and empty time of day and watched employees purposely avoid me, then I finally go up to a guy and he seems so irritated that I interrupted his conversation of gossip. Good store if you have time to wander around and find things, and if you already know what you are doing. But if you never shop here, don't. Absolutely the worst buying experience I've ever had. We paid for a fridge 3 times. First time, we used gift cards for part of the fridge, and the cashier couldn't make it work. We went to the service desk, and we were told everything was great. We talked to the manager told us, Happy 4th of July. We felt awful only $18 for a fridge. We went tge next day and took an hour and 45 minutes to pay. Next day, still no fridge. Lowes could not figure out how to get tge money off tge gift cards. It took 3 days to get tge fridge. Crazy. Tried to buy laminate floor/trim here. They sold me floor they did not have enough of. Told me they were getting some in the next day. No problem, they would have it delivered the next day. Six days later and I don't know how many phone calls, I spoke to several different peopled labeled "Managers", they showed up with just the floor we ordered but no trim that we ordered. I go to this store regularly since it is near my house, but I absolutely cannot understand why they can't have people running Cash registers, their self check out is the most frustrating system ever created, and it seems to take a minimum of 2 employees to help people use them anyway. Employees seem to avoid customers more than trying to help, and when you do find one they are quite annoyed at having to help you. I'm not sure if I've ever seen an actual manager at this store, nobody seem to ever be in charge. read more

I stop by the door department and ask if they sold Pantry doors with frosted Glass and Pantry written on the glass. The man that help me said they could order it and had me pay $35.00 so they could send someone to measure the door. They did this and I never heard back from them so I stop by again and the man looked up the door and told me they do not sell this door. I went to Home Depot and I had no problem! Bought a W/D on 7/7 and Lowe's was to deliver on 7/13 and they didn't show so we called and they said they were waiting for the dryer. So they would deliver on 7/18 and again a no show. We call again and now they are waiting on the washer. They could get one from a another store if I was willing to pay $75 more for the delivery! Then I find out they only ordered the washer on 7/12. Which means they had one and sold it to someone making me have to wait even longer. Called the store several times only to be hung-up on multiple times. They said the manager would call back and I've yet to get that call. All I can say to people is... HOME DEPOT!!! I rated them one star because zero is not an option. read more

My Mom purchased a new frig, washer, and dryer last month for $3,000. When they were delivered they did not install frig correctly, delivered wrong dryer, and did not hook up washer properly which flooded her entire house. She has not been able to get anyone from corporate or from the store to return her multiple calls. They will sure sell you something but screw the entire rest of the experience up resulting in huge hassle and bills with no assistance whatsoever. The delivery company they outsource to is horrible so you're way better off taking home and installing yourself. read more

This location has no idea what customer service is. I waited 45 mins to order a microwave; they had only one person on staff in the appliance area. Consider the number of appliance units..I.e.. washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, microwaves, etc - u get the picture. AND only 1 person in the evening when many stop by on their way from work - and ONLY 1 person to assist you - crap! Going back to HD; at the least they respect their customer's time. This location goes down hills and now I know why - employees don't care. I tried to buy 2 big rugs today and total over $800 so try to use Lowe's card to save 5%. However I didn't bring the card with me, so thought cashier would look up. After ring up, the cashier said no I have to go to customer service to pull card info. I went to customer service, 1 guy was on the phone helping another customer, and another guy was handling return for 1 customer. Waited 20 min, still on going and nothing showed that both would complete any time soon. It was very frustrated just watch both employees handling things so slowly and no smile no knowledge of waiting line getting longer. Horrible experience times 4! 1. I purchased knobs and had to return because I was not given all of the knobs I paid for. 2. My second purchase they tried to charge me double the price for additional knobs which were exactly them same as the ones I previously purchased the day before. 3. Selected a gallon of paint to match previous paint purchase and it was a complete differently color. 4. Asked them to cut a pvc pipe for me and they lied and said that their machine was broken. Come to find out it was not-they just didn't want to cut it. Tried to sell me a $15 cutter instead. I was treated with an extremely poor attitude. I will NEVER give them my business again!! Terrible inventory control, lack of trained personnel, no supervision, piles of stock left in aisles, etc. For a store located in a relatively upscale area, it's a mess. I wanted to update a previous review. The service at this Lowes has dramatically improved over the past 3-6 months. I routinely get ask if i need help and when i do, the people working there know what they're taking about. Dollars to donut they got new managers at this store and raised the bar on what's expected of the workforce. Good job turning things around! read more

We bought an $11,000 generator from them and they failed to do any follow up, billed us before we had any product or installation, wouldn't return phone calls, and acted like they couldn't care less in resolving our concerns towards their lack of professionalism. If there was any way to give "zero" stars I would. This is the worst managed store I've ever dealt with. From the first encounter with a sales person (that I had to track down) to the Managers (Candy and Jeff) to the people in their corporate office there seems to be a level of ineptitude that wouldn't be acceptable with any other company that I'm aware of. It started simply enough. I needed a new riding mower. Lowe's had one I liked on sale. I went in to buy it. The sales person didn't know how to "ring it up" so he brought in another woman to help him. They ended up getting into an argument and both of them walked off. The other girl at the customer service desk just shook her head and she came and rang me up. I set up a delivery date for two days from the purchase. I was told they would contact me the next day about delivery on the day after that. After they never called me by 5pm the next day I called them and they said they didn't have any of those mowers in stock and that I needed to call a different store and that it would be at least 3 days before I could get the mower. I wanted to mow my lawn before the 4th of July so I told him just to cancel the order and I'd buy one elsewhere that could deliver it as promised. He said if I canceled my order it would be 3-5 business days before the purchase amount was refunded to my account. This is where the 17 days ordeal began...after 5 business days it hadn't been refunded to my account. It took me 17 calls, six emails and about 10 hours...their final resolution after not being able to figure out how to process a simple refund for 17 days was to issue me a gift card, mail it to my house, me take it to the store and them cash the gift card out to me. They said it was all because when the transaction was processed I chose "Debit" instead of "Credit" and used my PIN instead of signing for it. They said a properly trained employee wouldn't have allowed me to do that. Basically in their eyes I had some level of fault in this fiasco. Terrible store, terrible employees, terrible company. Service is awful. We went knowing it was a new store and thought we'd see better service! We came, shopping for new flooring for our flooded home. We waited in the flooring department for about 20 minutes and no one came. My husband and then went and asked for someone to come and they said they would page the flooring department. We waited for another 20 minutes and no one came. My husband and then went to the customer service desk and asked if we could get some help. They told him they would page the flooring department. We waited another 15 minutes or so and no one came. We finally found someone walking around who said he would go look for the flooring department manager. He came back several minutes later and said he left over an hour ago and they were sorry, that there wasn't one person in the store who knew anything about the floors. We wanted simple info and no one could help. They then took my husband's contact information and promised that they would call back the next morning to give us the information we needed on the floors. No one ever called. Such a disappointment!! We've been dealing with so much with the flood! We just wanted simple information regarding the floors! So frustrating! read more
