I was looking for pine wood pellets and tried to search on the app because I can never find anyone to help me but also these places are huge so it's a maze anyway. They were labeled as being in the seasonal section which I assumed was outside but it was not. I finally gave up and asked for help. I walked up to this poor girl two minutes before her replacement said she could go on break after helping me. Her device was not cooperating so it took longer and eventually got passed to another person who walked me over to find what I was looking for. We couldn't find it so he asked me to show him on my phone so he could pull it up on his device. Turns out it was up in the high racks because they were REALLY out of season. He was so nice though and said it would take about 10-15 minutes. I was in no hurry so I waited. I sat on the display patio seating and I guess he didn't see me but was asking around for me. I got up to go over and had a laugh about thinking he lost me or that I had left. Then 3 other customer service reps had asked me if I had help or needed help while I stood to wait. Note to self: stand around and someone will ask you if you need help I saw a guy lugging a 40lb bag down to the register and I was like oh man.. why didn't he get a cart because it looked heavy for him. He seems tired and handed it over and walked away. I checked out with another man and then carried it on my shoulder to my car. Luckily I didn't park too far. However, I want to update my review because of the outstanding effort by Briand, the Appliance Specialist at my local Lowe's. He called me personally, took the time to research what had actually happened, and explained that the original salesperson had accidentally ordered a special-order handleless model instead of the standard in-stock version -- same specs, same price, different configuration. Briand offered to switch my order to the correct in-stock unit at no extra cost, and I am now scheduled to receive my refrigerator the very next day. The initial experience was genuinely poor and stressful, especially since my current refrigerator is on its last legs. But Briand turned it around with professionalism, clarity, and genuine care for the customer. Lowe's is lucky to have him. I'm raising my rating because of him. -- False Information & Poor Communication I purchased a 31.7 cu. ft. LG Refrigerator on 3/26/2026 with a confirmed delivery date of 3/31/2026. The morning of delivery, I received a text rescheduling it to 4/21/2026 -- nearly a month later, with no explanation. I called the 800 number and was told the item was out of stock at both the store and warehouse and had to be ordered from the manufacturer. Something didn't add up, so I checked Lowe's website and simulated a purchase of the same refrigerator -- it showed availability by April 2, 2026. I then sent my son to the same store, and an employee confirmed 23 units were available at the warehouse, with pickup possible the very next day. I called back and reported what I had found. They said they would notify store management, who had 24 hours to respond. Not satisfied, I called the store directly. After a long wait, an employee admitted that yes, the units were at the warehouse and that 4/21 was only a temporary placeholder date while they waited to receive it at the store level. I was also told that if needed I could cancel my order -- but that is not an option, as my current refrigerator is barely functioning. I am still waiting for a confirmed earlier delivery date. The bottom line: I was given false information, had to do my own investigation to uncover the truth, and am still left without a resolution. This is unacceptable for a major appliance purchase. Lowe's needs to look for another third party for their delivery. If I could give 0 I would - the lowest bidder does not provide service that's paid for. Took off the day without pay, was given two windows after first one didn't happen, then at 6pm get a call saying they need to reschedule. Other purchase that have been made with Lowe's was a carpet install - which had to be corrected and other appliances that the delivery person scratched the flooring. With a simple ooops as an excuse. The absolute worse customer service I have ever experienced. Purchased a double wall oven to be installed. The appliance weighed in excess of 200 pounds. They sent one man whom had almost zero skills to install it. He spent hours trying to make it work. He severely damaged our hardwood floors and cabinet and then left the job leaving the appliance sticking out of the wall with an open electric box with hot wires in them. Ive puchased $17k in fencing 11K in doors and $7k in landscaping materials from Home Depot no issue what so ever My wife and I got a built in oven from LOWES in January 2025 they delivered it first then came out to measure it to b sure it fits which to me is backwards. well it Was deemed ABLEto be installed . it sat in our dining room for weeks before they scheduled an install. Then they no showed the install and said we were not at home.. we were at home have a loud WEST MINSTER CHIME doorbell as well as a ring camera and a dog , they flat out lied ! that was on a Saturday, then they came out the following Monday at 7pm it was the 3 stooges of installers.. one guy stayed on his phone talking to a woman., they couldnt get it done.. the one guy on the phone said he had to leave the other guy took him home and return an hour later . I had to assist him to do part of the job to install it. After done he said he couldnt hook up to the gas they didnt have all the parts we had to call Spire gas to come out.. what a freaking joke this was at 10pm. NOT SPIRES JOB !! Now over a week later LOWES HAS FAILED TO COME OUT AND TIMELY install the oven. I SENT IN A . BETTER BUSINESS BUREA COMPLAINT . Then they rescheduled. Lowe's Lake St. Louis was paid $33k for cabinets 15 months ago. Countless issues with warped, incorrectly sized, improperly ordered, defective and missing products. We have spent 15 months, calling, e-mailing meeting with 6 supervisors, at the store and in our home, over 80 e-mails, to have the head supervisors Joyce and Maya give us a 1-800 customer care number to complain to. Lowe's customer care wasted a month of our time, gathering information, to offer us $1,100. This does not begin to cover what will fix the situation, let alone the countless hours wasted dealing with them. We have discovered this is a repeated issue with local Lowe's, who are offering full refunds back to other customers. We didn't get so lucky going with Lowe's Lake St. Louis who clearly doesn't care about their customer's experiences relative to neighboring Lowe's stores. We have filed a complaint with the Missouri Attorney General and have an attorney reviewing our documentation to sadly sue them for damages. read more

Here we go again. Two months ago I purchased a faucet to be installed 11 reschedules later it finally got installed. Durning that time we also purchased a new outside door on 12/12/24. The installer picked up our door on 1/11/25 but it wasn't scheduled to be installed until 1/30/25. The install was cancelled mid-morning of 1/30/25. Spent 45 minutes at Lowes trying to understand why it was cancelled and they couldn't provide an answer because they aren't involved in the installation process. REALLY!!! Now it's been rescheduled for 2/17/25. Horrible service. I would not recommend buying and having ANYTHING installed by Lowes. Go to Home Depot or some other company!!!! a nightmare ordering from them for appliances. did curbside pick up for my Bosch dishwasher and they gave me a Bosch power cord and a Maytag dishwasher, we didn't think to check to make sure we had the correct one due to it actually having my name and info on it. we didn't figure this out until my plumber was already at my house and when I called them they checked their receiving dock and the one I ordered was still there with my name on it. Associate tried to be funny and say maybe I ordered two. Why the fuck would I do that. How do you mess up that bad??? When we went to the store to get the right one the associates shot us around to multiple different people who had absolutely no idea what they were doing. no one was of any help and took forever to actually find what I paid for. For ten years now I have struggled with this Lowes in particular. Back then, it started with me buying a gallon of paint from them. The lid was not on tight, and, you guessed it... all over my new hardwood floors. Called the manager but he seemed disinterested and said 'that should not happen' and that he was sorry. Many years of poor service at this location. Yesterday was no different. It was an easy trip, I needed small propane bottles, piñon firewood and a few other things. It seems like every, time I go here, the wood is in a different place. I walked about a mile looking. Workers were there walking around but didnt seem interested in making eye contact so I could ask them where it might be. Finally, I went to the customer service counter. There were 4 associates up there. One said "OH! It's in isle 25." The other said "No, it is outside in lawn and garden." Another said "I think it is in isle 26." Another said "Should be over by the grills." Another walked by and said "I think it is outside." Well, the piñon wood was in none of those places. The app said they had nearly 50 bags. Doesnt sound like a big deal, but I have had it with this place. I had things to do. I left my cart filled with stuff I shopped for and walked out. No wonder Lowes is having financial trouble. I wish there was a Menards was near me, but Home Depot has always been good... I will make a point to go there from now on, that's for sure. read more

Rescheduling was horrible to coordinate a time with a plumber to move a water heater for the team to do their job - which could have been done without. Over the years I have bought pretty much everything that was needed to update our house, from flooring to doors, to electrical, to the paint needed to finish the projects. I am normally a patient man. In May, I ordered six windows plus installation. I paid my money and waited the six to eight weeks. It is now September and I still don't have one center window. When the windows came in, one was lost. Six or more weeks later the replacement came in, but it got broken. The window was supposed to be here August 30th, but the store in Lake Saint Louis said they didn't accept deliveries before a holiday weekend. What ???? This made no sense. The window did come in Sept 5th. For three business days now we have called and asked about when it would be installed. We NEVER receive a return call and we have twice now been told they can't reach the installer. Today I have waited all morning for a return call and I am tired of sitting around my house waiting for a call that never comes. They finally were delivered yesterday, and they ordered the wrong refrigerator. I had somebody with me when I made this order, and the sale lady must have put the wrong order number in, Shellie!! So we went to the store at 9:00 am to let them know, and of course they argued that they didn't make a mistake. We bought on a bundle sale, so we should have already received the 20% discount they offered us. My husband and I ordered a new back door with install through Lowe's. The scheduler was hard to get hold of but finally someone came out and installed the new door only to then inform me they sent the wrong trim and someone would contact me. So after a few days of hearing nothing we went up to Lowe's who apparently thought our job was complete. They sold us trim again and wanted us to take the trim. We said it would not fit on our vehicle and they said it wasn't a problem the installer would bring. Well- a different installer showed up with no trim. Said Lowe's told him we had the trim. He left. Uggh...I don't think it matters which Lowe's we go to. We've attempted a couple of time to have Lowe's do some work in our home. Not quite sure why we've tried more than once. The home installation department is horrid. Unqualified, lazy people are the preferred candidates for hiring into this department. We were in the market for a water heater. The employee claimed he was qualified and able to help us make a selection on a new water heater. After coming home and doing some research of our own it is apparent that shopping at the local Lowe's store IS NOT the appropriate route. Every option that we discussed with the store, and was told we could do, CAN NOT BE DONE!! Total waste of time. AGAIN! I went to Lowe's because I thought they were a reliable, trustworthy company. My new washing machine was delivered and the delivery drivers neglected to hookup my drain hose, resulting in extensive water damage to my home, Lowe's filed a claim with the 3rd party delivery company and said "Sorry" to me. I did business with them and they have the contract with this delivery company, who delivers in Lowe's trucks. Interesting thing is the Lowe's website states that the following are included with delivery: that they will ensure that it is hooked up properly and appliance will be connected to the existing drain. Well that sure did not happen for me. I have a huge mess and had to file a claim with my own insurance company in order to get the repairs started. And don't bother calling the Corporate Customer service, all they will do is write up a case to send back to the local store. The customer service is HORRIBLE. read more

I'm really really upset with the customer service at this location. I walked in looking for one (1) piece of sawn and could have easily been out of the store in 10-15 minutes, but no. I was in the store for close to 45 TRYING to find someone who would listen to me and take me seriously as I am both young and a woman in a very male dominated place. The first man I approached and said "sir I have a question" treated me with a very friendly "NO, I am helping CUSTOMERS right now" and stormed off. Am I not a paying customer with the credit card I am very clearly holding in my hand? The second man I asked for help had an almost similar response, but assured me he would help me once he was finished with the customer he was with. I proceeded to stand in my same spot for the next 15 minutes so he could find me when he was done. I watched this man help three other customers before me and when I finally confronted him and said, "sir, I am only looking for one piece of wood." He continued to help me and act like I had no idea what I was talking about until I pulled out all the terminology as to what exactly I was looking for, measurements and everything. He told me he didn't know where it would be and in the middle of him "helping" me another customer (male) came up and asked a question, to which he soon took to helping the man and walked off on me to show this other customer where the item he was looking for was. Today I was looking on my phone for a cheaper price minding my own business when a employee comes up with attitude and says, "What are you looking for because you ain't going to find it on that thing." No one knows what's going on here. I was trying to order a few items online for a bath rehab. Everything I needed was in stock at my St Charles store, except for the flooring. I found it in stock at the Lake St. Louis location, but this location was not participating in the 11% rebate the site had going on. I called and spoke to the manager who was nice & did inform they would take 11% off the order when I came to pick up, which was nice. He asked what the item # was since I said it was out of stock at every lowes around our area. I gave him the item # and he went back & verified they had 11 boxes. I placed my order for 11 boxes, then was left a voicemail by customer service the next morning that my order was canceled because this item is out of stock?? I called them back and was told by a guy in the flooring he re-checked and they in fact have nothing in stock. I informed customer service I did not want my order canceled, I still needed the items regardless. She then informs me I need to place another order. I had used a 10% off coupon, which was a one time use code. She of course said they could not issue another code for me, but MAYBE the manager could discount me for the coupon. I was then transferred to the manager with no answer so I hung up. I get a call the next day with a guy from flooring stating they had 26 boxes in stock & I can come pick it up. SOOOOO confused. I call to verify before I go up there and the same customer service woman said they have no stock & they canceled the order. She asks the person in flooring who verified he sees no stock. Are you KIDDING me!????? So this back and forth for TWO days and saying its in stock, its not in stock, its in stock, its not in stock......wheeeew I can understand one mix up, but going back and forth 4 times! I went and re-ordered everything online from the St. Charles location for pick up and will just wait until the flooring comes in Mid August. I cant even deal with this location anymore, they made my head hurt. To end the headache, since I was told my order was canceled & would not go on my Lowe's card I would assume no pending transactions would show. But I could not use my card to re-order because the money was still in fact being held on my card from the so called canceled order. My credit limit was not high enough to cover both orders at once, I'm sure I could have called to get my limit increased but didn't really see the point in wasting more time, since I'm normally not spending thousands of dollars on one order. I will most likely not be spending another dollar at any lowe's again because I'm not even a huge fan of my St. Charles location due to customer service. As my boyfriend and I visited lowes this past Wednesday to buy plywood the price shown was $14.95 per sheet. On the lowes website we found the same plywood for $5.27 per sheet the manager came down gave it to us for that price. My boyfriend returned today & the Internet price was $2.64 per sheet the manager on duty would not honor that price! Now when u look it says $14.95/sheet. Very disappointed with them!! read more

ordered a new jeld wen sliding glass door on 9/7/2018. was told 4 weeks max time for arrival and installation paid up front for both finally appt set for 10/30. installers show up at 9am, and begin removing old door when I luckily inspected new door they had brought with them. immediately noticed door was made to open opposite of what we need and thought we had ordered. they left and said they would be right back with the correct door. after waiting till 2 pm I started calling lowes to see what was going on finally at 2:30 they called and said door was ordered wrong and they would order it again. cancelled the whole thing. why would I think they would get it right the 2nd time, and don't want door installation in mid to late December very poor that you cant order a door correctly, and then leave you sitting home all day waiting for installers to return or someone to call. very bad experience altogether read more
