Pretty disappointed. I went in, in April. Purchased a screen/storm door that was in stock with installation. Was told it they would send someone out to confirm the size. Then I was told I have to pay $35 for that service. And that after installation I would pay for the actual door. A week later my door frame was measured. (Exact same measurements I walked in with). Was told he would call in the measurements and I would be called about install. I had to call them and then found out this location no longer had the door I wanted and it had to be ordered. Could take up to two weeks. Finally received a call today, 3 weeks later saying the door had arrived. Time to schedule install, another 2 weeks away. So rethink about having them install if you are on a time line. Very frustrating! read more

FIL needs some new faucets and a sink. Rep was very helpful and stayed with us and when he had to go, he got another rep to help us and came back around to make sure we were still good. Customer service tried to help with issue with pricing on SSO returned item clearly tagged as 15.99 and 35.00 and after 2 sales associates, 1 customer service rep, 2 managers, and 45 mins of my time, came back with a price o 70 and 35 ea. Bought a stove on Sunday got one on Monday that didn't work. They took it back and brought another one it was messed as well. Then they tell me that they can't bring another and that I have to get a refund. Go to get a refund and get told that they can't do it then calls the manager. Well they ended up giving us a refund for most of we paid just $138.01 short now we have to call the warranty company to get most of that back. This is the worst Lowes store EVER! I went in to purchase a storm door for my house and I've never encountered such incompetence! Gary C waited on me and I told him which door and handle I wanted and he took the order and scheduled the guy to come measure. Week later guy measured my door and a week after that I call to see what's going on. Spoke w Zachary who said they had no order for me like i had never been to the store! Spoke to the manager Whitney and she said she would resolve it and I would get a call for install. That very night lowes contacts me to come measure the door they already measured! Enough is enough I cancelled my order. Next time I want to purchase anything I'll drive 25 minutes to Home Depot in Winston as I spent more than that amount of time messing with the unprofessional incompetent staff of this lowes store! Do not go to this Lowes if you need lumber. They will say the saw is broken to avoid cutting. Michael, one of the associates in lumber, has a poor attitude, is lazy, and has abysmal customer service (even cursing in front of children saying "I hope they fire me, I don't need this f****** job"). It's unfortunate that Lowes cannot retain or recruit better employees. It's hard to please customers when the employees are lazy and don't want to work or help customers. read more

If I could rate this Lowe's with zero stars I would. I have spent a lot of money at this Lowe's over the years but I've really just had it with their terrible customer service. It actually starts with their managers (Jason), they are as bad as the associates. They may as well shut down entire departments because there is never anyone available in appliances, cabinets, flooring, doors or any other department they take special orders in. They hire contractors to work these departments so if you ask a regular associate or even a manager they can't even access the system to answer. You also get the standard "come back or call back tomorrow" for any questions or help you need. The issue with calling is they never answer the phone either. Seriously...I dare you to call and ask for someone on countertops. You will get kicked around a couple of time before you finally just get hung up on.....it's really sad. Carol Grubb in kitchens is incredible! I went to her with a vision in my head and she quickly understood what I was looking for, the things that were important to me and how to make it all happen. From kitchen cabinets, to counter tops and back splash to paint color. For a perfect stranger to grasp the exact "feel" and look that I wanted for my home was amazing. We purchased windows for our whole house 3-03-16 from Jimmy Kelly the project specialist for Lowes. We ask for a receipt and documentation showing that the windows were energy star qualified so we could get a tax credit. It is now September and the store manager nor Jimmy Kelly have provided us with either. Think twice before you do business with Lowes at 130 Lowes Boulevard in Lexington and me defiantly stay away from any project Jimmy Kelly is in charge of! My biggest issue with the store is security. Twice now I have been robbed at this Lowes. Once about a year ago vehicle was broke into and now it has happened again. The first time it happened I made customer service aware of this and was told it happens all the time. They said it is a constant problem. It had already happened multiple times that same day. Both times took place in broad daylight and I was parked close to entrance. I asked if they had cameras or any type of security since this is so common and was told the only cameras were pointed directly in the front of the store. The store should be making much more of an effort to protect customers since the problem is so frequent. There should be more cameras and other added security measures to prevent these occurrences from happening so often. SAFETY OF THE CUSTOMERS AND WORKERS SHOULD BE A TOP PRIORITY. I will not be returning the this location and want to warn others about shopping there. Be very cautious. read more

Called several Lowes stores on June 4th looking for pine needles. The store in Lexington NC check and said they had 400 bales on hand. This store was a good 40 minute drive from the location I was working. I arrived at the store around 6:30 , went to the garden center to make my purchase, The cashier said she didn't think they had any pine needles, I told her I had called earlier and called call assistance to vary. The cashier called for a manger 4 different times. After waiting for 15 minutes no Lowes employee had answered her page or calls. I walked to the front of the store to find someone to help. Talked to the head cashier, she called someone in the garden center that told her there was 400 bales of pine needles, She said she would make this right because of the confusion. She preceded to mess with her computer and then told me they didn't have any pine needles. I told her I had called before my trip there and I had been waiting for over 30 minutes at the store, She again said I will make this right. Again on the phone and messing with her computer. She came back to me and said I would need to check another store that they didn't have any pine needles and there was nothing she could do. This is the worse experience I have ever encounter at Lowes. Service was terrible and the cashier in the garden center was the only employee that seemed concerned or cared. read more

I don't even know where to start. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! So we were having tile floor put down in two bathrooms and also getting a new vanity and pedetal sink installed, i asked the guy in plumbing if they would come out and remove our old vanities and the let the tile people come and then come back and put in the new vanity and pedestal sink t in the guy said oh yes they do that all the time it wont be a problem, then come to find out when we were all ready for the tile people to come i asked the lady at lowes in plumbing about how we would schedule the removal of the vanities she said oh my guys only come out one time???? really the guy the other night told me they would come out two times oh yeah they will come out twice for a $300 dollar fee, she told me you will need to remove the vanities yourself if you want the tile put under them, really that is why i came to lowes don't you think if i knew how to remove them i would just do it myself thats the problem. so we made our own arrangements to get the old vanities out, the tile guys come and they do a good job laying the tile but oh they are like 6 tiles short why is that?? oh that is because they charged us for the square footage of the entire bathroom, but they didn't get the part about us removing the old vanity to put in a pedestal sink so yeah they were short some tiles, then we thought we had paid for base molding but no only enough was purchased to go in front of the doors, so the tile man was nice enough he said sure i will help you put it in , so i go to lowes take some of my old base molding and tell the guy in flooring what i need , get stain bring it home and then he goes to install and low and behold he didnt give me base molding he gave me door casing, close but no cigar, so i go and make another trip to lowes return the door casing and get the base molding but its to late so the tile guy is already gone and i have no base molding GREAT, then my husband goes to pick up the vanity and pedestal sink along with faucets that we had ordered and already paid for along with installation, oh imagine to our surprise they try to tell him that we had the pedestal sink shipped to our house already ummm not , then oh they figured it out they forgot to order it but they didn't forget to charge us for the install of it or the faucet that goes with it, by this time my husband is so mad he demands a refund on the installation price because we are fed up with the hassle, so i go to lowes and purchase the pedestal sink and we have someone else come and install it and the vanity and fix the base molding, but guess what when the plumber we hired goes to use the hoses and plumbing material we got from lowes it is not compatable with the stuff we got, really we took it back and returned and got the correct stuff. LOWES in LEXINGTON is the worst they act like they are helping you but seems like they don't know whats going on and they don't communicate good with customers. read more
