This is by far the worst store ever. First, they can never get special orders correct. There's always an issue when I go to pick up my order. Second, all I ever see, and I mean EVER is a bunch of employees standing around looking at their phones and ignoring customers. I can't believe Lowe's allows this. You don't see that at Home Depot or Ace. It's ridiculous. I guess management doesn't care how their stores are perceived or that their customers are taken care of. No wonder big stores like this are going out of business. I'd rather shop in China than here! ZERO stars if that were an option. read more

Corporate store, but not like the ones I am used to. This Lowes is not up to the quality that I am used to. The layout of the store has wide aisles and lots of certain products. A lot of shelves are empty with products not available. They offer to special order it for you. (does not help when in the middle of a project). The store employees that are actually working know where things are and are willing to help. Had to look to find an employee that was not on their cell phones and willing to help. 3 employees walked away from us when they saw that we were looking for help. read more

This Lowe's is a absolute joke. I referred a customer of mine to their flooring department and they went out there and talked trash about my company. Primarily because their install team doesn't know the difference between a reducer or a T-molding and how to install it. Regardless to say I will be taking all my future business to Home Depot and will never referr these clowns again. Pro desk said he would call back because he had a customer and about 5 hours later I called back since he didn't call me. I asked for the phone number of a local construction guy who is well known as a builder. Pro guy wouldn't give me the number. Stupid rule because I would have bought the materials for my job from Lowe's. I've called Madison Electric and immediately got numbers and recommendations for construction jobs. I suppose when you deal with chains and not locals, this is all you can expect. The guy I spoke with both times was Tony. His excuse was typical. It has been crazy around here all day. read more

I hate this place. They took a month and a half to put a new belt on a lawnmower, and brought it back with out keys, or headlights, and they busted a tire when they dropped it off the truck. Youd think that in six weeks they could change the oil like they were asked to do, but no. And to top it all off they ran over a tree in the yard! When I called to complain they can't help me until monday. Every time I go into the store, I'm always told, by them, "we don't have anything like that go to Tractor Supply". So you should too. *Update* After they charged me for a key and a tire, I was able to cut grass for less than ten minutes before the belt snapped and shredded. Visual inspection revealed missing bolts and pins that the Pros at Lowes forgot to reinstall. read more

Beware! Ordered a new fridge last Monday. Got an email thanking me for order and stating I would get another email with delivery info. The following day at noon I called to inquire about delivery. Was told that it was on truck on the way to my home. Zero notification. Anyway got old fridge quickly cleaned out and truck arrived. Guys literally wrestled new fridge into my home. It was scratched and dented in the process. To make matters much worse I noticed a rug on the opposite side of my kitchen was soaking wet two mornings later. The guys did not hook up ice maker properly and it had leaked on my bamboo floor for two days. Called Lowe's and of course they passed the blame to the delivery company. Now I can get nobody to return my calls. Not happy. read more

I was having an issue with the warranty company and my washing machine. I called the store and they were fantastic. They went above and beyond. I have bought appliances for 2 homes from this store and it always goes great. Everyone is super nice. I can also say I see one employee year after year and he always greets me and offers assistance. read more

I visit Lowe's a lot for glass and the emoloyees are always professional and smart. Good location.

Probably the worst lowes I've ever gone to. Huge Disorganization, limited selection, and employees that literally will go out of their way to avoid a customer. It's a shame that this has to be the only crappy home improvement store we have. read more

The folks at Lowe's in Madison -- especially Patsy and Skye-- know what customer service is all about. They were both efficient, courteous and knowledgeable, and made my purchases fast and easy. I drive right past the Home Depot in Covington to go to this Lowe's. It's worth the extra time and effort to find someone who actually helps me, and knows what they're talking about. At Home Depot I get employees who either ignore me completely or zoom past asking 'How are you' on their way to find a good hiding spot. Hey, that's fine, keep on being useless jerks.
