Needed a windowcreplaced. They sent out contractor to "measure". Submitted meadurement, ordered OEM window not replacement. Installer discovered after max delay in scheduling install. Expedited order for correct window.. Told 4 was eta. 7 weeks later window arrived on Friday, not received until following Monday as no one in store to receive and notify installer. BS from Lowe's. Installer closed 2 days early for July 4 holiday. Assigned to hew Installer. No contact within 48 hr time frame in contract. More bs from Lowe's. Still waiting for Installer to schedule install. Lowe's Won't talk about compensation for their errors until after install complete. More BS from Lowe's. They are a joke!!!!! Don't give a crap about customer or service. warning GO ELSEWHERE!! tried to exchange water today for my water cooler and a woman named TAMMY went to scan and I explained I had trade in bottles and how to scan code in store book. she told me water had gone up and it was double. I showed her sign on price and she wanted to get smart with me for trying to help her. I asked for a manager which she said she was the manager I been in here almost daily for the past 15 years. I asked for the main manager but he wasn't around so the next who didn't have time and was gonna get me to talk to somebody else so I left and went up the street to Home Depot and paid the right price and they was so much more friendly. a little out of my way but now I'll just go there!!!!! they will over charge you if you are not careful. read more

I went into the Madison store cause I live very close. I was needing as piece of romax wire. I found it 35.00 but it was locked in a cage. i went up front to get help finally a guy came over I showed him what I wanted i also had a lot of other things to do this electrical job in my hand. The employee says oh I can't get in because there was another lock with a cable on it. I wait he comes back with one of those think that is long u use to pickup stuff you can't reach and was going to attempt to pull it out of the locked cage. beside me was a ladder and I said why don't you just push the ladder over and reach down with you had and get the wire. the guy say that is against policy. I was at the checkout with a broken piece of drywall asking for a discount. The woke employee called manager to See what they could do. I heard the conversation and it was obvious he went out of his way to assure that there would be no discount. The conversation was as if I were a criminal. Funny thing is that I have a large account there and will be buying our home lumber packages down the street. I'll pay more to be treated with respect. I purchased a new backsplash and I made the mistake of trusting them and their partner,Service Pro's, to do the install. This was in December '22. First, I'd just like to say that I get that they subcontract different contractors to come out to do the job but they need to own up to the mistakes made and correct them. They sent out a guy who seemed to be on some sort drug. He had a lot of energy and was very jittery. He did the job and then quickly left. While he was trying to leave the job I went to review his work. There were multiple cracked tiles and gaps in the backsplash. Very disappointing to say the least. I called Service Pros to get this fixed. They apologized and said yes we'll have someone come fix this. Well they've cancelled and rescheduled with me 4 times now! Each time with a new excuse. It's Feb. 15, 2023 and they are supposed to show up today and haven't. They are continuously wasting my time. They claim that they cannot give me a refund until the job is done. So I'm stuck going back and forth with these people. I just want this job done, I want my money back and don't want to deal with them anymore. I ordered a new dryer (my current one gave all it could) from Lowe's Madison, TN on Wednesday 9/14/2022 with delivery set for Thursday 9/15/2022. I received a notification from Lowe's my delivery was on its way that morning. I received a call about an hour later from the driver/delivery contact that he missed my turn and on his way to another delivery out in a neighboring city; but would come back by in the afternoon. I received a call that afternoon that he was out in Murfreesboro and "Would it be ok if he delivered it first thing in the morning?"(Friday 9/16/2022). I didn't receive any update this morning. So, I called around 9:05AM to check in. He said he had it loaded up and would be heading my way. No further updates throughout the day. I texted the number in the off-chance I may get a reply there, nope, nothing. Cut to me on hold with the Lowe's Madison store directly late this afternoon (9/16/2022), some disconnects, line off-the-hook, hold music later and I finally spoke to a very pleasant person. He was helpful as much as he could be helpful but let me know he'd let his manager Britlynn (sp?) know. Britlynn did call me back as quickly as they could as they were assisting a customer with a forklift at the time of my earlier call. I appreciated the quick call back and following up with me. Yes, it's their job but sadly, we have to praise someone do their job correctly it seems like it's a surprise for all. I can't rate Lowe's Madison, TN a 0/0 on here , so they'll get that 1 but only going to Britlynn for calling me back and the nice person I spoke with on the phone before her, well done. They confirmed that the delivery company did not have me on the schedule for today and she said she has it set up for Sunday 9/18/2022 between 8AM-12PM, why not Saturday?- no clue. Imagine trying to adjust your schedule to be around when told your delivery would be completed, two days in a row. Let's see what happens Sunday... Being offered nothing for my time and their mistakes is an extra nail in the coffin for being a returning costumer. Unfortunately, we as the customer, are offered nothing for our time, energy, and effort. They're being paid for theirs. I went to Lowe's specifically because they have a Nashville warehouse/distribution center and offer fast delivery after purchase. What I got was: -notification that they would not deliver as scheduled because my dryer unit had been broken, there was no more in stock, and they didn't know when they would get more. -Then I was told I would get a matching set in Friday instead of Wednesday. -Then, after calling Lowe's three times to ensure my delivery window would account for when I'm at work, they scheduled my delivery during work hours and the driver told me he "couldn't guarantee that he would swing back around" at the end of the day. -Then the washer/dryer set they delivered DID NOT MATCH: different load sizes (!) And different color schemes. -Then they told me I had to wait a day for them to pick up the washer, and then it is a mandatory 48-hour wait period before they can deliver my new washer (after another round of their terrible delivery route scheduling protocols). At no point in this terrible journey has anyone offered me some discount or anything to acknowledge that THIS HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE and they've messed things up at every turn. It's been the most stressful week in recent memory, just waiting for the next random phone call to inform me that they've screwed up, or some mandatory policy they have is going to further ruin my day and prevent me from cleaning my clothes that much longer. LOWE'S APPLIANCE AND DELIVERY IN THE NASHVILLE AREA IS A COMPLETELY DYSFUNCTIONAL CLOWN SHOW. I had a couple of items I needed to pick up, and really didn't want to go on my own, as my husband wasn't able to go with me. I work in the area of this Lowes, drove over on my lunch. The employee's I spoke with were very helpful, and courteous. BUT, the lady Tammy at the checkout....let me just say, if I could have taken her home with me I would. What a true blessing she was! She was so kind, and patient with me as I couldn't find my bank card in my wallet...which ended up being in what I like to call the scary bag called the purse. I don't live in this area and generally go to Gallatin Lowes, well not anymore I won't be. When you are treated great, and courteous that's were you want to spend your hard earned money. I shop at this lowes a lot. Spend alot of money and use the same card there alot. Went to shop there today. Wasted an hour picking out my items went to check out system kept declining card. Made no sense tried another card from same company didn't work. I said something had to be wrong with the system. The like 19 year old kid who looks like he doesnt have enough energy to hole himself up says "no its on ur end bro" didnt bother to check anything to verify. So drove all the way to the next lowes bought the same items, same card with no problem. So therefore it was something going on on his machine with my card. I feel bad sometimes yelping the chains. I mean how many times do you have to go to get a good opinion about how it really is? I purchased the Showcase sherwin Williams paint at Lowe's - Guaranteed 1 coat coverage. False advertising! I hired professional painters, highly recommend. Labor estimate will now be 2.5 times because paint does not cover in even 2 coats!!! I went to store where purchased, sales person called the sherwin rep who said call the toll free number on the back. Called the number, sending pictures of every can, walls with different coats, original wall ( just covering a builder beige) and receipts. Bottom line their guarantees are worthless! The labor will cost me 2.5 because of their false advertising and they don't cover that expense. Suggestion from rep use a different product you like!!!! We will see if they cover any of the additional costs. Furious- never should have trusted Lowe's, HOME DEPOT Marque paint covers in one coat. Don't think because Sherwin Williams is on the can that it is quality paint and Lowe's staff could care less. read more

Went to Lowe's today to pickup a programmable light switch. The Lowe's App showed it in one place, but not there. Finally found a store representative after 10 minutes that also had trouble finding it as well. Still needed some door insulation, but Jared the store representative must have missed his coffee break with 10 people being in the store. He told me which isle they were on and what they were close too. But never took the time to show me. You push the assistance buttons and the don't work. I will never go back to this store. I cannot say this about the entire store, but do not try to get blinds from Lowe's, as it is not worth whatever deal they are offering. The contractor they use who measures blinds failed to contact us for 10 days (not the 24-48 hour guarantee) was a no-show the first time, late the second, failed to properly file our measurements to Lowe's, and made errors on the measurements. I understand this is a contractor, but the fun doesn't stop there. With Lowe's, the staff consistently gave different numbers for prices, their computer system was continually "down," the blinds specialist seemed to always be "at lunch," and several other factors existed evidencing an indifference toward providing customer service. For example, I waited 30min just to be told they could not pull up my order on the computer because the system wasn't working because it was raining, and I'd have to come back later. I was told these computer problems were normal. However you want to fit it, that's really not acceptable for a business. I will say there was one individual that was competent and friendly, but she still couldn't solve the cluster of a mess this was. It took 3 weeks to simply get a price quote on the blinds we wanted. I gave up, went to the Home Depot near Briley and Gallatin, had an appointment to measure set up the next day, and a final quote the day after for a 30% cheaper price for the same blinds. This is for future consumers! I went to the Lowe's store in Hendersonville, TN on 6/13/21 and found a lamp(806923) on clearance which I purchased. I needed another one and my sister wanted two and the young lady helping me told me she could have it put on hold at the Madison, TN store because they had 6. She was suppose to call me and let me know it was on hold and did not. I called the Madison store explained the situation and was told my lamps would be on hold and waiting. I drove all the way over there to be told by the store manager ( lady working on 6/15/21 around 4:15 p.m.) we can not honor the price given to you at the Hendersonville store because they are not in our district and we do not have this item on clearance. I would a consumer know this when an employee did not! I called the Hendersonville store and asked for the manager waited for them for 20 minutes and got hung up on. Called back asked for a manager again spoke to Grace and Annie. I explain to the manager what happened and she responded by saying she did not understand why they would not honor the price when they do it all of the time and that I should call customer service. I have tried on 6/14/21 and 6/15/21 to speak with someone at Lowe's customer service department waited on hold both days for over 30 minutes. If you are contemplating becoming an investor or consumer with this company this is how they treat their customers. I even have a Lowe's credit card that I use often ( not anymore) and my purchase, time, and money does not matter. PLEASE reconsider and shop somewhere where they know consumer laws and follow them as well as know the true meaning of customer service. read more
