If you purchase anything from Lowe's that would qualify under the "free assembly and delivery" category....or any large enough item that you would need to use their 3rd party delivery they supply...you better be 100% sure you want what you're buying. Because if you don't...and you have to return it...and it's such a large item that you have to have the same delivery service pick it up to return it to the store....theyll do that. Heck, sometimes even just the very next day. But will you actually get your MONEY returned to you?! Nope you won't. Then they'll tell you it can take up to 10 business days and to wait. It still won't come. We have done business with Lowe's for many years. I recently ordered a new stove from them, we paid extra for delivery and installation. They were scheduled to deliver TWICE. They rescheduled the first time because it was raining. They called to reschedule again because the dirt road we live on still had puddles on it. They said it would be another 2 days before they could deliver it again. I have company arriving and now have nothing to use to cook for them. Our stove quit which is why we ordered a new one. We and others in our neighborhood have driven down that road multiple times today. We have cancelled our order and will now go elsewhere to buy a stove. We will also be canceling our credit card with them. They have really let us down. So please, if you live on a dirt road in Florida where it rains at 3pm every day, do not order anything to be delivered from Lowe's. read more

Came here to find plants for my mom for Mother's Day. Her favorite are the oriental Lilly's and Lowe's is the only place so far that I can ever find them. If you've never smelled oriental Lilly's, they smell soooooo good! It's like perfume. They had a lot of really nice plants it was so hard to choose. I even saw a soursop plant! One of my favorite fruits! My only issue was there were no carts around. I had to walk back outside to find one. But, I'll be back for sure to add to our garden this summer! read more

Came here to buy a couple new toilets. Boy was this a mistake. Should have gone to Home Depot. First picking out the toilet wasn't so bad but when we tried to find a cart to put them on that became a headache. The employees in the department were no help. Then we found a cart and the employees watched us struggle to put the toilets on the cart and said "yeah they're pretty heavy". We pay for the product and walk outside but before we walk outside we ask if somebody could help us load them. After a 10 minute wait patrons from out in the parking lot offered to help us. This Lowes is the absolutely worst around. i have been a longtime lowes customer and highly infuriated. over the summer i bought a window ac unit a ge clearview. A lowes pro installer put it in and it did not work and would not cool the small space it was installed. I called the proinstaller and the store spoke with customer service and assisted to order a new unit on lowes.com and it was suppose to arrive prior to the date of the original item return date. Well to my dismay the new ac was delayed and the store and proinstaller were informed. (no store associate actually documenting anything as they assured me they were) then the delivery was delayed and then finally I got a delivered notification! so i proceed to go outside and my stomach sank because no delivery was here. I called the store and after discussing with the customer service and manger , the result was that fed ex had delivered my unit to someone else's house. So i called lowes.com and fed ex my refund for that item took over 12 days. The proinstaller came back and i had to pay again to have the original broken unit removed from the window and had to take it in his truck back to the store as it would not fit in my car and i am unable to pick it up. Only to be told by the customer service associates and the manager that no documentation was done and they would not take the item back. Then they gave me the 800 customer service number for lowes knowing that they can only manage the online orders and not the instore purchase returns sending me into a rabbit hole. since they have tried to ruin my credit with the card i used to purchase and have been no help whatsoever to support a lifelong customer. so please be wary of the Lowe's or at least this one. Completely unprofessional and poor customer service. They had all of the documentation from the fed ex delay and wrong delivery and did not own any accountability with their store , products. I placed my order online and within the hour I received the confirmation email that my item was ready for pickup. When we got there I decided to do the curbside pickup. Pulled up the app, selected the parking # and within 10 or so minutes the employee was out with my item. Not bad and much better than some of the other brick and mortar curbside process. read more

I used to shop at this Lowe's when I first bought my house (a fixer-upper project) two and a half years ago. After several disappointments with customer service, I decided to go to another home improvement store with orange letters. However, that one has run low on supplies so back to this Lowe's I went. WHAT A MISTAKE. I went to buy an oven and they only had a few to choose from in stock. No biggie--I'm not that picky. So I had it scheduled to be delivered to my home. Took a day off work, canceled a date with the girlfriend, skipped a workout. Not only were the delivery drivers three and a half hours late (and smelling rather suspicious if you know what I mean), but the oven was damaged IN THREE PLACES. So I'm sitting here in my house with the old oven on the curb, no way to make dinner for the next few days. I call the warehouse and they can't even make an exception for me to ensure my house is the first one in the route for delivery in two days. God, I wish I could just not do my job like Lowe's employees and their contract delivery drivers and get paid. I spend about $10,000 a year fixing up homes and I promise I will never spend another dollar of that at a Lowe's. *UPDATE* So not only did the delivery service Lowe's uses (Spirit Logistics) fail to note my house as the first drop off like they said they would do, the delivery driver never showed up. No call, no email. Just didn't show up. So I'm on day four without an oven, and will have to take another day off work so these idiots can once again attempt the simplest task known to man. *UPDATE #2* Third time's a charm? Not in this case. I am still without an oven even after being promised it would be delivered earlier in the day. I just left this store. I will never, EVER return. They have a young lady in the front who works customer service and could not multi-task to save her life. She got flustered when I asked if the had a certain patio set in stock. After about 10 minutes standing there, she finally answered "all we have is the chairs." Cool. So I asked if I can get the chairs with a different table, which COMPLETELY confused her and she started hanging up on people that were on hold. So she told another rep that she was "freaking out" because people were asking her questions. Really? You work at the customer service desk. So the second rep said to wait by the patio furniture and she would get someone to help us, after 45 minutes we just had them put our return on a gift card and left. Lowes in Middleburg, Florida has horrible customer service. This store is completely inept. I made an online order part shipped and the other for pick=up. The store sent thhe email that the order was readt for pick up. Arrived at the store, called in for order to be brought out to vehicle. Order is not processed. Store cannot handle the process. they say it has not been paid the bank says it has been paid. Bank records show it has been paid. Store will not release order. After four hours of waiting at the store and after several calls to customer service, the store and the bank. No one has resolved the order. After all thi the person who says he is a store manager still could not resolve the matter. While on the phone he actually hung up! read more

Made the mistake of purchasing exterior doors from this store ( worst decision ever!!!!) My wife and I ordered the doors in July of 2019 did not get the door in until September 23 strike number one. We payed for the upgrade stain on our fiberglass doors and they needed some touch up paint on they( we ordered 3 doors), called there install department and spook with Jessica which turn out to be the rudest person I have ever talked to. Strike 2. Fast forward to today March 21 ,2020 I'm still fighting with them to back up there product and fix the problems we have strike 3 what ever you do run from this store customer service stinks and the rudest person I have ever dealt with in Jessica being in charge of a department is ridiculous!!! Went to Lowe's in this area today for the first time. I did like the Veterans parking but, what I did not like was the poor customer service. I walked over to an employee because I needed assistance and the assistance that I got was not at all helpful. I had a flat metal sheet in my hand I could tell if it was steel but, I could not tell if it was stainless steel and I also told him I was looking for a stainless steel sheet and was not able to tell if it was or not. What irritated me was he was not trying to assist me in finding what I was looking for to buy. So, I placed the sheet back where I got it and Decided not to purchase anything else from the store. If a customer tells you they're looking for something and can't find it you don't just tell them that whatever is in there hand is not it, you help them find what they are looking for. Especially after the customer tell him you can't find what you're looking for. This store needs to do better!!! I do not spend my money in places that treats me that way. No one should!!!! read more

Worse shopping experience from any store ever! Everyone needs to be educated at this store on the placement of the order and delivery details. This store does not have employee interaction with each other and consequently they are unable to execute a proper sale or delivery of a sale. I spend hours choosing the four major kitchen appliances and having the employees charge the cost to my new Lowe's credit card. Thinking I would have everything processed and delivered as promised I later discovered they had not charged my account for all four items, only two for installation! That began over 15 different calls each way concerning what I needed to do and what they wouldn't do! The interaction between different departments and management was NOT professional to say the very least. One did not know what the other one was doing or seemed to care! I canceled the entire order and my new credit card! Never would I consider shopping at this chain store again...but then I see the company is spiraling downward and the CEO is leaving. This particular Lowe's store is the worst that I have ever encountered. I live 26 miles from this store and traveled there yesterday to purchase flooring and installation of same. There was no associate in the area to take our order or schedule installation. I found someone that said that he would find the person that I needed. I saw and heard him ask a lady if she could help me and she stated that she was too busy to help. At that point my wife and I left. This store has always been a disappointment to me because they never have enough experienced associates on the floor and the one's they have don't seem to care. Will travel 32 miles to the Gainesville store to purchase what I need and would not even do that except for the fact that Lowe's carries the product that I need at the price point that I am looking for. Bought a TroyBilt Mower that went out after 2 mowings. Tried to return it but was told it had bee sent out because we purchased the extended warranty, After about 2 months and a lot of haggling, the mower was returned to me unfixed because the warranty company wanted to charge me $394 to fix a $200 mower and the store refused to honor their store warranty because I didn't have it for a year. This is absolute nonsense because the mower never worked from the beginning. The arrogant assistant manager tried to tell us the opinion of the warranty idiots is a "legal document." Maybe he thought we were idiots because that statement didn't sit well and he was informed that he was not correct. He then offered to refund our warranty of all of $25.00 but no exchange for the mower and no money back so Better Business Bureau and Consumer Protection here we come. DO not patronize this dump on Blanding, go to Home Depot where they are more customer friendly and have better products. We will NEVER shop there AGAIN! read more
