My review is for the Lowe's KitchenAid KMMF330PPS microwave and Lowes Protection Plus. The warranty company is Assurant. This is the email I sent them after they told me that they would not repair my microwave and sent me a voucher for what I paid for it plus tax. They also stated that my current extended warranty for the microwave, which was 5 yrs is now void because they fulfilled the contract. If I purchase another microwave and I want another extended warranty, I will need to purchase one.. I am reaching out about my KitchenAid microwave and the recent decision on my warranty claim. The microwave is now just over 2 years old. During the manufacturer's warranty period, the microwave developed a problem and was repaired. Unfortunately, the microwave has now developed the same problem again. A service technician recently came out and diagnosed the same issue that was previously repaired under the manufacturer's warranty. I was then informed the repair would not be covered, and I am being offered a $491.14 electronic gift card toward a replacement microwave. I appreciate that Assurant has offered assistance. I respectfully ask that the decision be reconsidered. The microwave is only slightly over 2 years old, and the failure is the same problem that previously required repair under the manufacturer's warranty. It is disappointing that the same issue has now returned so soon after the original repair. The replacement cost for the same KitchenAid microwave is currently approximately $699. This means that even with the voucher, I will have to pay over $200 for a replacement of a relatively new appliance that has experienced the same failure twice. I purchased a KitchenAid dishwasher, stove, and refrigerator at the same time and wish for the same color, profile, and brand. I understand that warranty terms and coverage limitations exist. However, given the circumstances, I do not feel it is entirely fair to me to bear the additional $200 cost for a replacement of the same appliance since the same problem occurred again. I am respectfully asking whether Assurant would consider increasing the voucher amount to cover the full replacement cost, or otherwise provide additional assistance as a goodwill resolution? I have been a customer who purchased extended warranty protection with the expectation that it would provide meaningful assistance if the appliance experienced a significant failure. It is my hope that Assurant will consider the history of this particular appliance and stand behind the resolution in a way that is fair to the customer. Thank you for taking the time to review my situation. I sincerely appreciate your consideration and hope that you will reconsider the amount of the assistance being offered. We bought an outdoor patio set that was a return as is. It was boxed up and had never been opened. When we got home we leaned the cushions colors didn't match. There were 2 different colors. Lowe's said we had to work with the manufacturer rather than helping us with a same day return. Manufacturer has been less than helpful. Customer service is poor at this location. read more

I've been to this Lowe's many times already since moving to this area. No one here has ever been that helpful, but I still go because Lowe's has always been my preference for Home Improvement stores. Their Garden Center is pretty nice. My most recent trip definitely takes the cake. I placed an order online over a busy weekend for a sale item. I did wait a few days to go pick it up. So Again I was at Lowes and a fifteen minute trip cost me close to an hour. I just received a Lowes credit card with a 20% incentive for first purchase. Didn't work, so off to "customer service" so to speak. fifteen to twenty minutes waiting for customer service. Then trying their best another ten to fifteen minutes. I'm not sure if I received 20% or not but I was reassured just check your card on line. I did get a discount after checking online because they couldn't give me a receipt. I think someone needs to tell Lowes that other stores sell all the same stuff. read more

Lowe's cannot get people to work so the store is running with a skeleton crew. I stopped today to pick up vegetable plants for my garden. Beautiful plants that are dry as a bone from lack of water. I waited to check out for a good 45 minutes to an hour. I called the manager and made my complaint known. The busiest time of the year and they have one checkout! The manager said that he is hiring on the spot 35 new workers. The problem is no one wants to work when they can collect unemployment and make more. Definitely a problem here. read more

Disappointing trip to the Muskegon Lowe's. We needed help but no one could be found. Five of the employees were working on a project in the back of the store and not available for customers. There were only two registers open for check out with both lines really long. Poor service and overall poorly managed store. read more

I wanted to buy a google Chromecast with google tv. Every store I checked out online had no stock, but surprisingly the Muskegon Lowe's showed they had 4 in stock. I drove 40 miles one way to get it and they only had 1. I bought it and got it home only to find that someone must have purchased it an took out the Chromecast unit and the remote And left only the cord and adapter. No one checked it and just put it back on the display. Needless to say I was pretty disappointe. Another 80 miles to return it. read more

Their greeters selectively choose who to greet. I went in there today around 1:30 p.m. and the curly haired lady wearing glasses looked at me but did not greet me like she did to the person who walked in behind me, whom she said hello to. I don't know what the reason is for that but it isn't good. If you caught it closely on video you'll see what I'm talking about. I was wearing a grey adidas t-shirt. This is a great lowes, on top of all the stuff every lowes carries, the staff are friendly and helpful, albeit some should not work in paint(or just need better training) every time ive been here has been nice. Summer is great with the flowers and plants outside, and i might be biased but kobalt tools are nice and some of them are pretty ingenious. Over all if i need something id rather go here then walmart anyday. read more

Bought a refrigerator and had it delivered. The delivery team was first rate. They managed to wheel it through the front door without needing to remove the door. Then around several corners and into a tight space. Then some light assembly and balancing. All with great attitudes and putting up with a nosy dog who likes to get in the way. And they wouldn't accept a gratuity. Great job Lowe's! read more
