I had Home Depot in Muskegon do a refacing of my kitchen cabinets and replace my countertops. My kitchen is huge as a caterer built the home. This was done February, 2024. Ryan Pisciotta replaced my cabinets and built a pantry. He showed up every day when he said he would. He enclosed the kitchen area with plastic, laid down canvas on the floors and cleaned up before going home. He did all of this in four days time! He did a beautiful, precise job. You would never know how he did it. He is an artist and is a very conscious craftsman. Premier Granite and Stone did my countertops in white quartz thru Home Depot. The are gorgeous and easy to clean. There was one seam and no one can find it. I saw them do it, that's the only reason I know where it is. I'm very happy with the job everyone did. NEVER order appliances for delivery from Home Depot. This is the WORST appliance delivery service and customer service I have ever experienced. It does not even deserve a 1-star rating. Seriously, - rude, refusing to complete, leaving appliances in dangerous locations outside when it was paid to go to a room inside, and refusal to haul away when paid for service AT delivery. Did not place appliances or complete installation -- wanted to just leave them in the middle of the house. The WORST. Rude, argumentative lazy installer. read more

Shady return tactics of putting things on store credit and not allowing you a refund of same day purchased items.

Comparatively to other hardware stores in the area and other HD locations in general, this one is decent. The store never seems to be that busy, which is nice, unless you need the Customer Service Desk. Whether it's an online order pickup or for a return, there is always a line and it's always backed up and slow. When you pick up an order they throw it on a cart for you and offer no help. I had a random customer in the parking lot offer to help me load my item into my car because he could see it may be difficult for me alone. read more

this place is a joke, did y'all ever hear of customer service? 2 idiots delivered my refrigerator and other than plugging it in wouldn't touch it. Left all the packing material inside, did not level it, took a chunk out of my doorway, noticed 3 days later the cover for the interior light was missing. Called Home Depot and as other reviewer's described, they could not be bothered. DO NOT support this business! Never had an issue here. Sometimes it can be hard locating an employee, but little bit of looking and they help right away. Not like they can have a worker in every aisle. I did buy a picnic table from them, and it was missing parts and a piece was damaged. Not their fault, it was prepackaged from whoever supplies them. But they were quick to help me return in. It was their last one, but helped me looked at alternatives in-stock and also what the other nearby stores had. Always friendly people when I have to deal with them. read more

On 7-23-22 I was in the Muskegon home depot ,had not been in the the store in a few months.Went to pick up some shopvac filters going to the front cheak out to pay I mentioned that I,.m a military member. The cashier asked --phone app, I said ok and told them my phone number. So the cashier said ,no your phone app,I said what,heres my Army id and phone number. The cashier said take out yourSMARTPHONE -- with the home depot discount app.I SAID NOT EVERYONE -carrys\or owns a smart phone.Asked to see the manager,asked her, hay can you get me my mil discount,manager said i,ll wait here while you get your phone from your car.I said HAY DUMMY---home depot now requires vetreans carry a smart phone to get a discount.She said YES,I SAID some parting comments and the manager did not give me a discount.Got phone number to corprate office, made a complaint got a $30.00 discount card,WILL USE AND NO MORE GOING TO HOME DEPOT. Vetreans LOWES offers the same discount just show your ID and your phone number 15% discount.No smart phone in your BUTT POCKET LIKE A 16 YEAR OLD KID. read more

Waited around 30 minutes to get a piece of plywood cut. "jake from lumber" was nowhere to be seen. He told me the saw wire was misaligned and put no effort into working the saw. i went into Home Depot today to get some cement for a stepping stone project. when I finally found what I was looking for, I was met by a condescending employee that asked if had any intention of buying anything, and asked how on earth I would carry it. He grabbed me a cart/basket & kept insisting he lift it for me. I let him do his thing & walked away with my cement. he then walked the same direction as me & joked about having to help me lift a .5lb bucket too... talk about rude & misogynistic! I was able to easily lift the 60 pound bag - however it was RIPPED from the employee dropping it into a wire cart. I know customer service is exhausting - but this was unacceptable. thankfully my project turned out amazing - and I'll continue shopping at menards instead!!! read more

I can believe the power trip along with the racist undertones I just experienced shopping with my son at your Henry Location in Muskegon Michigan.I understand the panic that the covid 19 epidemic has caused.Upon entering the self check out the lady tells me and my son we have to get behind an older white couple like we weren't in line first. She even went so far as to argue with me about out place in line when we clearly made it to the assigned X on the floor first.I was overlooked as a consumer an looked down upon while shopping with my son.Then after paying for out Items an tryin to walk out the same door we entered in I was told I could not exit an I had to walk back to the same door I was at when my car was on the other side of the parking lot it was to the point that the door lady was being confrontational when I just wanted to leave your store.I started to just return the screws I paid for if this is how my business is appreciated. Not to mention out of the two packs of screws I purchased they were supposed to contain 5 screws each and one of them contained 3 screws. Ive never had such a shit experience dealing with a company. They use their "free carpet install"to lure people in and screw them over. I was promised my multiple employees the carpet I chose was going to be installed in 5 days. I spent 3500 with them then went through a week of hell of trying to even get a install date after they took thousands of my dollars and scheduled me 2 weeks from when I paid. Also happened to be the weekend I'm having a baby. They use classic disgusting bait and switch illegal business practices. I have recordings of promised instal dates and I can't wait to take things further with my lawyer. Save your time and money and never shop at this Home Depot or buy their shitty marked up carpet. Bought a washing machine from the Muskegon, Mi store. It did not work. Mike the manager refused to let me return it. I called Home Depot Corperate office who then contacted Manager Mike and told him to refund my money. I am happy with company response, but not with my local store. You do not own the company Mike, you are employed by Home Depot. I ended up going and getting my washing machine from Lowes . Same price with a better return policy. Earlier at noon time today the curly haired girl greeter purposely ignored me both when I went in and left. I didn't catch her name but she was there greeting people as they came in. For some reason she skipped me and I know for sure it was on purpose because she did see me. If you caught it on video I was the guy wearing a beige The North Face jacket and dark blue jeans.
