Staff was excellent and gave great help with everything we needed. Mike was the first to help us by making us keys and he laughed and joked with us about the shape of my mom's keys but made sure that he would make it work even though it was bent and in bad shape. Sarah also helped and joined in on helping make the keys and also directed us to exactly where the screwdriver set was that we were overlooking and gave us excellent advise. They both went above and behind and were very helpful and considerate. I think they make the staff as a whole look fantastic and deserve reward and praise as it is hard to find good customer service these days. I always though Lowe's was good, but I will never buy anything large at this location again. $2,000 order for tile, made in person, was supposed to come in last Friday. It did not. I called in 4 times yesterday, and never got anyone in the flooring department. I kept getting transferred back to customer service, who then kept transferring me back to flooring, but no one ever picked up. Finally I went into the store, waited in person for a good 30 minutes. Kept asking associates for help, even went to the customer service a few times. Kept being told the would find someone, or page someone. Even heard them page a couple times. Oh, and I was waiting in the flooring department with other customers. Finally a manager in customer service informed me there was no one in flooring that evening. There would be the next morning. So, I start the circus over again at about 9 am the next morning. Again, keep calling flooring, no one picks up, keep getting transferred to customer service, who keeps transferring me to flooring. Then I tell the customer service person I don't mean to be rude, but I keep getting the run around again after what happened to me the previous evening, so she transfers me to flooring saying there is someone there, and it rings and rings and rings, it transfers me back to customer service who then transfers me back without saying a word. This goes on maybe a dozen times, taking up what felt like 5 minutes, but I'm not hanging up because I need to know where my tile is. I have people coming to start installing it today, I mean I know they have some demo to do first, but I know they will need the tile very soon. Eventually it get put on hold and I sit on hold for another 5 minutes (the complete time of the call was close to 15 minutes). At that point I break and I hang up. I called back again, and finally got someone. I'm sorry, but you should not have to go thru this much BS to find out what happened to an order you place in person, in the store, and they have you pay upfront to place it. When I called in yesterday, a simple "there is no one in flooring right now, they will be back in in the morning would have saved me over an hour or two of my time, and I likely would not have been so pissed to write this stupid review. Yes, I would have still wasted probably 30 minutes this morning in their phone circus to get hold of someone to get my answer, and to that end they need a better way of answering phones, but it would not have been so bad. I get it, they have other customers, and thanks to the idiots running the country good help is hard to find, but come on. I run a business, and if we treated a customer who paid upfront for a service that we did not provide on time, and then I gave that customer the run around like this, I would lose that customer. read more

My mom & I came to get a few flowers, some garden edging fences, & mulch. Paid for it all & the cashier rudely says, "We won't have anybody to help you." Thinking the mulch stacks were readily accessible(no plastic shrink wrap, I said "okay, I can manage." I load my mom's car & take the cart to the mulch loading area, & everything is wrapped! I walked to the customer service desk because, WHO CARRIES A BOX CUTTER WITH THEM?! I told the customer service desk what happened & they said they'd send somebody. I purchased a drink for my mom, who was waiting in a HOT car on an 80 degree day with the dog. Low and behold, NOBODY came out after they were called to assist. I finally got annoyed & cut it with my SC State ID. We loaded the mulch & drove through the parking lot & saw 3 employees standing there doing NOTHING! This review is for Stacy in appliances. She is a rockstar. I ordered a refrigerator back in May and it was in sock and was supposed to here May 31 well it was sold out from under me and I was told it would be in June then was told it was back ordered. I was told this each and every time. I even spoke to one of the store managers who told me September 12th. The time b4 last I called and they said it would be November 28th so i drove back to the store for the 10th+time and a guy told me they had 2 in stock in Wilmington and told me I could rent a truck and go get it if they really have it and gave me the number to that store. I Finally get in touch with somebody and they said that they had just sold it to someone online. Meanwhile I have been waiting for a while. So I drove back to get a refund because a local company could have me one in 3 days to 2 weeks. Guy who was back there said he would call someone so I waited and Stacy came and off the bat she said well the reason your not getting it is because they have it in stock in store for delivery so that is why the warhorse has not sent one to us because we have them in stock. She said I would have never gotten one and that they should have changed the stock status the first time they told me is was on back order. I was frustrated and super thankful at the same time. Frustrated that no a single person at that store and the many trips and hours I spent in there not one other person caught that mistake and I could of had a refrigerator. We bought $3000 worth of hardwood floor and rugs for out condo with FREE installation. The hardwood floor installers found some water damage that needed repair. We had it fixed in one day but then were told that we wouldn't be able to get the installers back for 2 weeks. So we now have a plywood floor to walk on for two weeks because the rugs had been removed. Everything might have gone better but one glitch and then the customer suffers. When the parts came in a new contracting company Rock Solid came out to put them on. They replaced the parts and said the door still is not working properly. Spent $500 on a dishwasher from this Lowes with installation and they couldn't install until the next week which I understood, however, when they came to install the dishwasher it was broken, so the driver said he would put me first on his deliveries for the next day with a new dishwasher, well the next day comes around and they call me and say they don't even have the dishwasher in stock. We bought a Washing Machine and 3 weeks later it died and we called to have it replaced. They sent someone out a week later who told us to call Lowe's to have it replaced. We called and we're told we had to wait for the estimator. We called 5 days later and we were told they would be fixing it. 2 weeks later we called and we're told that now that it was more than 30 days since purchase they could not replace it. Here we sit 44 days later washing cloths in the sink still waiting. Customer service for this company in Myrtle Beach is all about the company dollar and nothing about the customer. We purchased a Kitchen Aide Refrigerator from Sheila in April, 2019 and she was awesome!! We didn't have much time and she suggested we purchase the Kitchen Aide fridge to match our other appliances. It was a toss up between the LG and the KA. So glad we followed her advice, as it is the perfect one for us and our new kitchen. Thank you to Sheila. Also, the delivery men: Marquis and Jeremiah were very professional and experienced. Marquis took charge and they began the delivery process. Both treated us as if we were their parents and took special care to ensure the heavy appliance didn't cause damage and was hooked up perfectly. Also, they explained a few things that made our use of it easier. Yes, refrigerators today are a technological advancement from our last, purchased 12 years ago. ordered 6 appliances from lowes in Conway. Out of 6 appliances delivered, 3 were damaged. Trying to exchange for new ones was so ridiculous. We spoke with manager, assistant manager, appliance manager and the delivery department at lowes. At one point, delivery person told us refrigerator and dishwasher were on the delivery truck that broke down and when we called and spoke to lowes, there wasn't even an orders to pick up damaged appliances and give us new ones. Assistant manager told us yesterday we would get new refrigerator today and even got a confirmation email it was coming today and spoke to delivery department after we received email. Delivery person told us they only had a damaged refrigerator from something else and had to reorder one and it would be 7-10 days more till we received refrigerator. So, if we get refrigerator in 7-10 days, that will be almost a month since we ordered and paid almost $7.000 in appliances from lowes. The 3rd party delivery service was great. If I go into the store to look for a specific product, it is almost impossible to get assistance. Associates walk past you and don't speak, or much less ask how they might help you!
