I've been here many times for a variety of projects, and always had a great experience. The prices are typically reasonable, and there are plenty of employees happy to help you, walking around the store seeing who needs assistance. There is a great selection of items, and I love that you can pick up samples of most paint colors, vinyl, flooring, etc., this is so helpful! Everything is organized very well, with overhead signs to show you where to get to the supplies you need. This one is for Ted! We always have great luck at Lowe's in finding what we need for our projects. I find staff to be knowledgeable and helpful. Over the weekend I was running around to a couple of different hardware stores to get what we needed for a project. I have grabbed some lumber from another store but then headed to Lowe's because the other store didn't have what we needed. With an already pretty full truck I went back to the lumber and started to grab what I needed. Cue Ted! He came right over to my toddler and I and helped us load our lumber on our cart. He waited for us to check out and came outside to help us get loaded up. Now again, I had other lumber that I purchased elsewhere. Ted worked out how to best load everything so it wouldn't shift too bad during my drive. He helped me unload and reload almost everything! I made it home and almost nothing budged. It may seem small, but I was so thankful for Ted's help and his willingness to make sure all of my things were loaded safely. read more

Ordered a 5-gallon Igloo Beverage Cooler online for shipping, but got a 10-gallon. The 800 number told me I had to take it to the store to get a refund or exchange -- I'm 15 miles away. I spoke with a store manager who said they "might" be able to pick it up, but offered no other way for me to get what I ordered or a refund, so I filed a PayPal Purchase Protection case. I still haven't heard back from anyone so it seems like they're expecting me to cave and take it in. I took a chance and reordered for next day delivery from this store. Seems like they could've scheduled to pick up the other one at the same time, but didn't. Zero follow-through. I shouldn't have to do the legwork to fix their mistake. read more

Terrible customer service , when we finally found an employee to assist us with a bathroom vent that was on clearance he stated he really didn't know the products. He left and 20 minutes later still no assistance...finally as we were leaving I found one more to ask he stated no they didn't have any and no he couldn't sell the display and no he couldn't remove the advertisement for the product even though they have none and won't be receiving anymore. At first I was frustrated because the website told me the where the item was, except it wasn't. There. So I asked someone and she said it was outside. I looked around but still couldn't find it. Then a guy asked if he could help me. Hallelujah! He found it, got me a cart, loaded it on the cart, and then asked if he could help me find anything else. Um...Yes! I followed him to the right area and found what I needed. My delivery was not correct (it happens) but trying to get ahold of the manager to correct the issues has been a nightmare and time consuming. When I call the store, I get placed on hold then disconnected. It's been 10 days and still have not received a call back. I was in this location twice in the last two weeks and both time the customer service was terrible, the first time I was wanting to purchase 2 storm doors and the kid that took me back there was supposed to send someone back to help me I waited about 15 minutes and then left the second time was last night to but some new light fixtures and the guy I asked for help seemed like I was bothering him and when I asked questions he didn't really have any answers and did not bother to get anyone that did. Was there for thirty minutes trying to buy a dewalt dry wall cutter. I was lead on a thirty minute store freak in search of said person with knowledge. I went to customer service and asked - they pointed me to a gentleman and said he is the store manager he can help. After being on hold for 20 minutes, I was told the delivery date was being pushed back a week. At the end of the week, I called Lowe's again to ask why I wasn't getting any communication regarding the refrigerator delivery only to be told it had been back ordered. Spent a long time being transferred to different people in the Lowe's system to find out a week later that the sales person I worked with NEVER EVEN PUT THE ORDER IN! I had made 3 months of payments, waited & waited, for nothing ! Went to Home Depot, ordered same refrigerator. It cost less than Lowe's , sales person was kind and helpful , I was sent emails with exact information on delivery status. got my refrigerator 3 days after purchase. Beware of returns. They will not help on products they sell. Purchased a cordless EGO weed eater at the location. Took it home and attempted charge the battery, thought it was went to use the trimmer would not work. Tried a second time overnight still would not charge. Went back to this store and was told they would not exchange and needed to contact the manufacturer. Never used would not work and told sorry your problem. read more

I went in this evening to purchase some refurbishing supplies. I was really excited to find the paint color I wanted on sale for a quarter of the original price. We drove 25 min out of the way by passing 3 other hardware and home improvement shops just to shop there. Unfortunately, all 6 associates I interacted with were extremely rude. One of the female associates started an altercation with my boyfriend and I at self checkout as she claimed she tried yelling out at us to get our attention. Neither of us heard her, so she had attitude with us and I tried apologizing to her after we realized we didn't hear her and she yelled over me while I was calmly talking to her. I tried to diffuse her frustration with us over ringing up returned paint (which I had never done at Lowe's). She didn't resolve the issue like she said she would and walked away from helping us without completing the task nor taking any accountability or apologizing for the way she behaved. So, we picked up our things after a few min later and walked back to the register in the lumber section. The female helping us there was at first friendly. I tried making conversation with her about projects she likes to do and she called for help to override the paint purchase as it was a return and ringing up around $48. Two other associates came by to help and seemed very annoyed to help out. Once the transaction was complete and they were done talking amongst each other, I had a second to provide feedback on the interactions I experienced with other workers and how I ended up at that counter. I tried explaining the details as she was asking for them. Instead, she handed me my receipt, cut me off in the middle of speaking, and turned her back on me. Nobody once apologized or asked how to make it better. The man at the paint counter cut me off and would only communicate with my boyfriend even though the items were for my business. The female I completed my transaction with in the lumber yard also assumed the purchase was for him even though he was behind me and I was paying for the items...I felt discriminated as a woman. I understand times are hard and worked as a Cashier at Lowe's myself back in the day. However, I never treated a customer like that in my entire life. Offering to at least hear about a customer's experience, ask for feedback, apologize, find another way to "make it right," or a small discount would've really helped resolve the conflicts they caused. As an interior designer, shopping for business project supplies is one of my favorite things to do. After tonight, I feel my experience really rubbed me the wrong way and I hope someone from management reaches out with a resolution. read more

As far as home improvement stores go, it's Lowes. If you haven't been inside of one of these or at least seen one, you must have not lived in America long! They're a national chain, serving you for your DIY or home and garden needs. It's the same to me as Home Depot, I'll admit I am not very handy with tools, and can't tell any differences between these home improvement corporate conglomerates. However, I do love plants and the garden center is perfect for planning out a yard or some curb appeal. Ever since I found out Home Depot and Lowes (most locations anyway) are dog friendly, I have been finding excuses to come here and shop, even if I leave empty handed. It's amazing to see the smiles on people's faces when they see your dog- it's a instant mood booster for staff and other customers. I certainly feel the difference when I go with and without him. Thankful for dog friendly stores in Omaha and beyond. You're awesome. read more

I went to this Lowe's because I was told at the Papillon site that they had nine trimmers and one last EGO mower(on display). When I arrived I asked the return merchandise clerk and was told that there were all sold with no options. He didn't relay to me that they can order it online and have it delivered to my house for free. I didn't find this out till I asked another staff, which I believe happens to be manager moving items around. He had stopped what he was doing and became engaged with my questions. He literally took time to look again and explained the process. Then to find out that the there was the last EGO mower available for purchase. He lifted the heavy box on the platform truck and thank me for visiting Lowe's. Now that's excellent customer service. read more

Both associates were at the desk staring at a computer screen helping a pair of ladies with some issue. Standing a few feet away did not get their attention any more for me than it did the guy who had waited even longer than we did. NFM here we come! Maybe they should put the sales staff on commission. Beware of Any Floor Install! First, we have used Lowe's for 2 major room remodels: kitchen and master bathroom. They did not do the floors either time, but did a wonderful job with cabinets and countertops. Nancy, at the Lowe's in midtown Omaha, is wonderful to work with on design options. This time, we needed a new floor in our guest bathroom. Lowe's had the tile I really wanted so we went with them. All went well with the measurement, ordering of tile, etc... Lowe's evidently works exclusively with a sham of a company called Keller Interiors. It appears to be national and offers franchises throughout the country. Two days prior to the install, Keller called to say they had a cancellation and could move up our install date. That is the ONLY time I ever was able to speak with someone from Keller. I told them the materials were to be delivered on the day they wanted to start and was told their crew would pick up the products from Lowe's and bring them. They would arrive on Thursday between 9:00 and 11:00. I had a text from one of the installers at 10:30 saying they were on their way. They arrived at 12:15. They were in two very small cars - not a company vehicle - and needed both cars to transport the tile and accompanying materials. They were to remove the toilet and carry it away since we purchased a new one. There were two young workers. They could barely get the toilet into the trunk of one of the cars. My husband gave them a bungie cord so they could get the trunk partially closed. They did not finish on Thursday (it was a 40 square foot bathroom). They said they would be back on Friday between 8:30 and 9:00. They arrived at approximently 9:40. They spent all day, finishing the install around 5:00. They were to come back Saturday morning to grout. I explained that we had company coming for dinner, so it was imperative they arrive early. They arrived at 9:45 AM. They finished around noon. It appears that the floor just outside the bathroom has been been damaged. I don't know if it's because of the schluter track or what, but the floor now gives when it is stepped on. I tried to call Keller; no answer. I submitted a review to Lowe's; no answer. It is impossible to talk with anyone at Keller. I text them and get the same response, no matter what I say. Here's their response: "Thank you for your response! If you requested a call, we will be in touch as soon as we can. For more information, please visit our website at: www. kellerinteriors.com." I have 8 of those responses and have requested a call and get nothing. The bathroom floor looks nice and the workers seemed very careful. It took 16 1/2 hours for this tiny space to be finished. The workers were using their own tiny cars - why wouldn't they have a Lowe's vehicle that could actually hold the toilet and the tile and the baseboard? We did complain at a Lowe's store and the woman nodded her head and said, "we hear that a lot" in terms of complaints about Keller Interiors. Why, then, does Lowe's use this sham of a company? We will never again work with Lowe's on a flooring project. Lowe's asked how the project went and we were honest and said we wanted someone to come and look at the floor outside the bathroom. No response. I like Lowe's - I don't think Keller is a reputable company! read more

I went to this Lowe's this past weekend to purchase a snow blower and it was a decent experience. I walked in and asked the first associate I saw where the snow blowers were, he answered and said that he'll just show me where they are. I couldn't tell if he was truly being rude or if that's just how he was. Either way, not a good impression for the customers. I think he was a manager as well. Anyway, I got to the snow blowers and had to push the button for assistance. About 5 minutes later, someone showed up. And of course for the snow blower that I wanted, the only one they had left was the floor model. With the agreement that they would provide a couple guys to load it for us, I snagged it and purchased it at Customer Service, which seemed liked it inconvenienced the employee to check me out at the Customer Service area. We also purchased some stuff that my wife needed to make a clothing rack in our laundry room and Lowe's is expensive on a lot of items. Menards was at least 50% cheaper on some of the flanges and pipe elbows that we bought. But I just bought them at Lowe's as I didn't want to make an extra trip to Menards on that cold, blustery day. After purchasing it, they gave us one guy to help load it. My bro-in-law and I actually did most of the lifting into the truck. After it was loaded, the employee took off. Overall, it was an okay experience and I will be going back if I need that one item that Menards doesn't have. read more

I tried to like Lowe's, but shopping here is always extremely frustrating for me. I like to tinker around a bit and fix things up around the house as much as the next guy, but I always begrudgingly find myself going to Lowe's for a socket for this, some paint for that, etc., etc. And we all know how massive of a space Lowe's consumes. So finding what you're looking for in a timely manner is always a tall order. And how about finding a little help from the staff? I know they're around the store somewhere, but they're never nearby when I have a question or need a little help. It's a shame the mom-and-pop hardware store is a dying breed. The Lowe's beast is one monster I'd like to avoid if at all possible. read more

Tons of lawn care items here including: Weed b Gon, Bug b Gon, Roundup, they've got that too! They have a nice variety of annual and perennial flowers when late spring rolls around. Blinds, windows, doors, washing machines, shower doors, I could go on and on. If it's a few small things I need and it's warm out, I will leave the car at home and bike instead. If you bike there, you can lock up at the bike rack. Yep, Lowe's has a bike rack right out front. I will zip in for some light bulbs, batteries, etc. and put them in my backpack. Driving or biking to Lowe's, chances are they have what you need. read more

My mom went through Lowe's to redo her kitchen last summer (2018) She purchased everything from them and they provided design and contractor. Here we are this summer, 2019, and the kitchen is still not finished. The work that was done is shoddy at best. She has called bob blaha, Lowe's production office person, several times and we still don't have a completed kitchen. He is now out of the office when she calls. They ripped off an elderly woman who spent her hard earned savings on this project. Despicable! read more

I normally would give a higher rating, but what my aim is, is to help them improve their bank of contractors that can measure a shower for door installation. We remodeled our bathroom to take out the tub for easier access. Lowe's told us to call to get somebody (that they recommended) to measure for the project. We set it up, but when the person they recommended (Do All Handy tech) got to the house, he talked to the remodel contractor that was in the driveway cutting tile. He immediately became irritated (with my contractor) that the tile wasn't in place already. We were not previously told that the tile had to be in place prior to measurement. He then came into the house to tell me (property owner) the same thing - and brought his attitude with him. I told him that it would have been better if somebody had informed me of this requirement so that neither of us would have wasted our time. He (according to his wife, on the phone) subsequently refused service to me in the future because of MY attitude (even accused me of being intoxicated). My suggestion to Lowe's; have more than 1 subcontractor that can measure a rectangle (and has better customer service attitude) and alert the homeowner of the tiling/measurement procedure. This would save me from going elsewhere and Lowe's wouldn't lose approximately a $1,000 sale. read more

I have always had a positive experience in the store so I made my first large purchase - a fridge - yesterday. I was thrilled when I was notified via email that it would be delivered today between 3:30 and 7:30. Today is my birthday and was happy to cancel plans so I could be here to receive my present to myself. We cleaned out the old one and by 3:30 were ready to go. At 5:10 I received a vm from a California number telling me that due to "severe weather" they would not be coming and the earliest they could get it to me is Wednesday. I called the store, as directed to if that date doesn't work for me, and was bounced around to different people and on hold for 8 1/2 minutes before finally speaking to a manager. Because there's apparently nobody in deliveries after 4:00. He stuck with the severe weather line even though the city hosted a parade today attended by thousands and the severe thunderstorm warning expired at 3 pm. That 15 minute cloudburst must be a dealbreaker because even though I've got a good two hours left in my delivery window my fridge is already back at the store. No I'm sorry. No we're going to fix this. Not even happy birthday. So now I sit, waiting for a call from the delivery manager (which will come tomorrow I guess since it's after 4), staring at a counter full of perishables which will now make up my birthday dinner. Not feeling super valued as a customer right now, Lowe's but at least the delivery crew apparently got an early start to their Saturday night. Maybe they'll have a cold one for me. read more

Amazing Staff - just as I walked in I had someone asking if they could help. Then as I was just browsing I had two more employees ask if they could help me find anything. Prices are good. I'm from out of town and we stop every time we are in Omaha which is at least 2-3 times a month. Costumer Service is great!! Wished we could see that more in several other retail stores!!
