I purchased a Midea refrigerator and they sold me a returned refrigerator. The refrigerator stopped working in 6 months. When my husband and I went to get a refund they refused us. I have receipts of the purchase. They said Midea would fix the refrigerator, then Midea refused to. We paid $130.00 for a warranty that the Lowes associate stole from us. I distinctly saw my husband pay her $I30.00 for the warranty. I hate this store and I will never purchase anything from them again. Very poor service. We have to make my life accessible as we go. We build ramps into our friends' houses. We fix our apartment so I can reach things, or not fall out of my wheelchair trying to get over that thing on the floor that separates the kitchen linoleum from the carpet (or the entrance into the bathroom). And we try to fix my 20+year-old accessible van as problems arise. Not to mention we still have all the home and life problems that everyone else has, that would require a trip to the home improvement store. This time we needed charcoal and wood chips so we could smoke a turkey for a gathering of friends to play Cards Against Humanity. I'm pretty sure that we bought our grill from Lowe's, too, just not this location. Yes, we use a regular, cheap black Weber grill to do our smoking. And every turkey we've made (we've done this at least three times) has turned out delicious and moist. Jeremy also needed an extractor kit/set because the arm that holds open the back hatch of our van broke randomly a couple weeks ago, and the screw is stuck in the panel of the van. Being an adult is so much fun, I tell ya. We needed help finding the extractor set, but we didn't even need to ask for help. Our confused conversation caught the attention of one of the employees, and he walked us right to the display. I do love it when I don't have to track down employees. It was a lackluster and uneventful trip. We found everything we needed. Since it's not spring yet, the store seemed sad and boring because there's nothing seasonal on display. While I do love Christmas nonsense, springtime is the best time at Lowe's. I need the outdoor garden area in my life! I need flowers and hope! Would recommend, especially in the spring. read more

I would give them a big fat 0. I brought a washing machine Maytag brand new. They never informed me of the piece that I needed for hookup so that should have been the first sign. I went away right after delivery. Came back to wash vacation clothes and the machine it's always off track and not draining at all. I called to set up an app with warranty and told them my availability, and my schedule was not honored. I am expected to continue payment on a broken machine. read more

The only good thing was loads of parking and no lines but that's probably because everyone goes to one of the Home Depots a couple miles away. Store is badly designed with landscaping materials on one end and asphalt and concrete as far away as possible. I asked where to find asphalt and I was given wrong directions. After loading up my cart with 4 60 lbs bags I checked out at the register. On my way out the door I realized liquid was running out of the cart. I left it to get another cart yo get different bags of asphalt. They were ALL WET with what I assume was soda. I went back to the register and asked for a refund. Even though there was a help desk there with 3 idle employees I was directed to take the cart back to the store entrance. I told them I'd never come back and I got a snarky Have a nice day!" I went to the store to purchase a hand vacuum. I needed some help at the register to retrieve a $5.00 cash reward. I asked the lady for assistance but she was too busy on her phone to help. I go to the customer service register the young lady ask me can she help but proceeds to turn her head and continues to talk to her coworker. I went to Lowe's at Taylor Ave (Baltimore MD) to get a recycling wheeled bin - they had them outside in the garden center, but the ones available on the ground had no lids. There was a container of more bins w/lids way up on a shelf. I went to customer service for help getting one down and they paged for help in the garden center. After waiting for 10 minutes, I went back and asked again - customer service paged for help again. I waited another 10 minutes, then asked again and was told there was no one available to help me! So, after finding the item online, confirming that it was in stock at the store, driving to the store, and all this back-and-forth at the store, to walk away with nothing, knowing I have to start all over again? He was was easy to chat with and he didn't have a smart remark because I was a female like another employee did at another home improvement store. We live around the corner on Pleasant Plains Rd. and frequent this location almost every weekend for anything and everything home related. Some not even home related. The staff here are super pleasant and helpful. It's super rare you'll find someone working that isn't able or willing to help. The building, inside and out, are clean and well organized. Multiple home improvement items purchased here. MDF boards for downstairs renovations, gallons and gallons of paint, siding for shed, grout for bathroom tile, fan for outdoor patio, outdoor summer accessories, holiday lights, decorations... you name it. The only thing we haven't been able to track down and purchase at this location is a battery powered nail gun. We ended up traveling down the road further to Home Depot (super crowded and cluttered), to purchase the nail gun. No biggy. The staff here have always been welcoming and helpful. Those that we have noticed that aren't are several months around from not being seen again when we visit. There have been some check out cashiers that have been less-than-pleasant but have done their job nonetheless. For the service, quality of supplies, and overall hospitality, we happily give 5 stars and will always return as long as we live in the area. read more

I love this Loews. I've been going here for at least five years. I just went today to buy a disc cultivator I saw online. I couldn't find it at the store so I asked an associate who went out if his way to locate the item that was boxed up way up high on the shelf. He came out with his lift machine and brought down the box and unboxed 4 of the items. He was so pleasant and asked if I needed anything else. We checked out outside where the cashier lady was so sweet and commented about our dog who was chaperoning us. It's refreshing to have a place where you can take your dog. I love the selection at this store and all the friendly people who work here. This place has never disappointed. read more

I visited this location only yo find out they changed the rules regarding Lowes credit cards. My sister is a member she did not receive any type of notification email or us postal. We spoke with Dana who made it seem like it was our fault we didn't know rules had changed. Luckily we had a wonderful cashier Carlena that walked us through the process. We were looking to purchase a kitchen faucet and when we scanned it at the register it didn't ring up the price that was posted. He was up front and immediately offered to walk back with us so we could show him. He spoke to management about it and we came to an agreement over the price. His customer service was excellent. I am 62, permanently disabled single female. I purchased a refrigerator, a birthday present to me. The delivery man took my storm door off and put it back on so that now it drags the ground and takes a lot of FORCE to open so in order to let my dogs out, this main entrance door that I have had ZERO problems with in FIVE years since it was first installed, I now cause pain to my neck, shoulder and hip to open. LOW(e's) senior management who I personally emailed (Ronda.harlow@lowes.com, marvin.ellison@lowes.com, vincent.scalese@lowes.com) handed me off to Kirkland at execustservice@lowes.com. NOW I have to wait for an "investigation from their insurance "handler" RXO! OH MY G'D! Customer service is abysmal. Don't try to call because they leave you on hold for 20 minutes and then hang up on you.

Ok! I'm giving them the review based on how they made me feel. I did a online order, pick up at the store. Well you'd think I would have been in and out right? Nope!! That would be too easy. Customer service is backed up with returns. I kindly ask is there anywhere else I can go to get my order? Can you call a manager to help you? The associate never called the manager but just then it clicked let me go to the next register and help the next customer well guess what my order is not complete! Should have been 3 only 2. She explains someone should have called me..... blank stare. I get my order and call the manager while in the store on my cell phone. This Lowes is a newer location, as it was built fresh about 3 years ago. Prior to coming here, I would venture a little further to the Home Depot in Parkville. But my preference is Lowes because it's easier to get to. This review is based on my history of visits and observations. What I Like: - Customer service here is excellent. They emphasize this as a competitive advantage. I've had employees give me free, smaller items when it was appropriate (the weather stripping for my storm door). Everyone is consistently pleasant, greeting you and offering help. - Lowes has these devices to call for service in each aisle. This is a great feature. - I have consistently asked for expertise on a variety of plumbing, painting, and tool advice. They always have experienced employees that aid my search or project. - Clean store with plenty of inventory, I can't recall a time when they were out of something. What I Don't Like: - The garden section is a little weak at times. The variety can be limited, despite the size of the actual department. Really, to improve the rating I gave I would need to experience their contracting business. Until I get more exposure, I feel comfortable saying that this is as good as a hardware store can get. read more

I went to this Lowe's with the intention of finding window screens on a Saturday evening (June 24th). I walked around and found plenty of other items I needed for updates around the house, mostly by walking the store aisle by aisle. (This Lowe's is not set up in a way that makes it easy to navigate. At all). Eventually, I wound up at the customer service/returns desk back at the front of the store to ask (1) if what I needed was in stock and (2) where I should go to look for it. Although none of the three employees had either answer, they directed me to a man - a "huge man that you won't be able to miss" - in a section near the windows and doors. I went back, and sure enough, he was there at his desk, speaking with a middle-aged couple and giving them what appeared to be bad news about delivery times. I patiently (or so I thought?) waited my turn, and when the man eventually threw me a glance and asked what I wanted, I explained that I was looking for window screens. He turned and stared at me as though I was insane for asking the question, and with contempt dripping from his voice, told me the only screens they offered were build-your-own. TL;DR: the employees here appear to be either knowledgeable and straight up mean or sort of friendly and having no knowledge of the store. read more

This Lowe's doesn't answer the phone. I am extremely high risk and can't go inside of buildings at this time per my doctors' orders. I assumed I could get some items as they advertise curbside delivery. They don't answer the phone. I sat for an hour in the dedicated curbside spot calling and calling and calling. I even tried different departments like installations and appliances. My husband assumed it was just a busy day and insisted on trying himself. He had the same results. Oh, no, this Lowe's store deserves LESS than one star. Wanted the 25 quart Miracle grow as on sale in their Father's day circular. There were none available. (Same thing in the Fall when was told TWICE that the soil was due to be delivered the next day - it never arrived, all 865 bags of it) Was told by an older, female employee to go Customer Service when she was asked for a rain check. This was instead of her CALLING customer service (a hundred yard walk). Customer service said no rain checks. I used to work at Lowe's so I know many of the processes for installed sales and generally how Lowe's operates. A lot of the time, if/when you feel like no one is talking to you or asking if you need help, they very well may be en route to customer service for a contract, pulling an order, or completing some other task for someone, so it definitely pays to not be shy and just speak up first for help even if you think the person is "ignoring" you or should ask you first. Also, keep in mind, when a department or the store advertises an installation sale/special, know that there are MANY LAYERS of an install and you HAVE to understand the "fine print" - for example, they may have a special on flooring installation, but that does NOT include ripping up/hauling away the existing floor, dump fees, other MATERIAL costs (quarter-round molding, transition strips) many of which can add up quickly. NO ONE IS TRYING TO DUPE YOU... these are normal add-on costs and any place you go to will have them, period. Just keep this in mind when navigating an install. It's easy to calculate how many boxes of laminate you need, and then be shocked when the cost of your install isn't just the special rate plus the cost of the boxes. There are many other parts to it. So far we've had a good experience here. Lisa from millwork was excellent to work with and gave us many options when deciding which storm door to have installed, as many of them shot up in price due to a custom size. She was knowledgeable and fun to work with and we would work with her again on other door or window orders. Can't remember her name... maybe Wendy? from paint, was also awesome to work with, gave helpful color recommendations, and was willing to make me a few samples even though it was at the end of her shift. She made me want to come back to this paint department over other places. I will say employees do tend to socialize a decent amount here, loudly at times, which was a bit off-putting, but people do work really hard physically and mentally at this place, so I cut some slack for that. My only other gripe is that the flooring samples (laminate/hardwood mini pieces) were totally disorganized and are consistently a mess, making it difficult to find the exact sample without checking each piece's name/SKU on the back to confirm I"m getting the desired sample. That area needs some attention. Hope this helps. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this as a go-to for home improvement needs! read more

After multiple other trips to this Lowes location, the service is really not great. The Lowes in White Marsh, or Home Depot around the corner from this Lowes, both offer much better customer service. This store is newer and prettier, but the staff has ignored me unless I literally ran them to ground, and that includes when I'm standing right in from on them. Heaven forbid they stop their chatting and pay attention to a customer! I've literally had to interrupt on more than one occasion. I'm sorry, aren't you being paid to work and not gossip? I'm not surprised when we as a couple aren't immediately approached, but I have never had worse customer service at a home improvement store as a single woman. I think he's gotten better service than I have. The two stars is only for the huge, well-stocked new store. If you know exactly what you want and where to find it, and don't mind checking yourself out and won't have any issues that might require an employee, go here. Otherwise, save the hassle and drive the extra few minutes to one of the other stores I noted above where the employees care about the customers. I don't know what is up with this one, but the regional manager needs to make some changes. I am really disappointed with Lowes at the moment. I purchased a dryer to be delivered to my home. I was told that I would be given a call as to setting up a delivery time. This call was originally 7-9 pm, I called the store they said 9:15pm, they actually called 9:30pm. I did not speak to a person as to arrange a convenient time for delivery. I received a message telling me they will be there between 9-1. I spoke with an operator and was unable to change the time. They were not concerned that I have to take a day off work and arrange doing so at 9:45pm. I will know lose a day's pay because of this. I always feel like a lazy cretin homeowner when I go to a big box "home building" store. Being surrounded by billions of potential home projects, one can soon get overwhelmed with all the possibilities. Norm Abrams I'm not! But I LOVE this Lowes--the customer service is wonderful! And better yet, from my experience, everything is neatly displayed with the correct price tag in front of the item rows. So like other stores (cough~!...Home Despot), I can easily find what I'm looking for and how much it costs--to me that's the first rung of good customer service. The staff there is friendly and helpful. Sure, you get the occasional misery who thinks their job is beneath them, but it's not the norm. One time in midsummer, I noted several rows of wilting plants while a group of young employees were standing around laughing and farting around on their phones...I simply told the very nice manager about it, and there hasn't been a wilted plant since! First I would like to say that I believe Lowes, in general, is a great store! I have several rental properties and after a long day of repairs on one my property's I went to Lowes to get supplies for the following day. After getting all of needed trim I went to the register and was greated by the register salesman with rolling eyes because he was going to have to scan each piece of trim (about 30 pieces of trim). It was a long day for both of us (8pm) but the salesman continued to "huff-and-puff" and was acting like it was my fault that I was making him work and scan my merchandise.... The customer service desk is a nightmare. I frequently place orders online to pick up in store, and every time I have been to this Lowes for pick up, I have had to wait about an hour to complete the transaction. No one there knows how to process orders or retrieve items from the back, so they are constantly calling different individuals. The customer service staff seem to have a "I don't want to be here" attitude, so this results in me asking for service and explaining my order multiple times. It's always a headache. Other staff in the store are not as incompetent as the customer service department, but they seem to be far less helpful and more disengaged than representatives at other Lowes and Home Depot stores. I recommend ordering from the Lowes in White Marsh (it will be worth the drive) or going with Home Depot. read more

Absolutely love shopping at this location. Before it opened I use to go to Home Depot off of perring pkwy and Joppa rd. I usually shop in the paint and blind areas the most, the lady with the long hair I think her name is Tanya but I'm not really sure, she is always really helpful and knowledgeable and even if I'm looking for something that's not in her department she will help me find it or call someone over to help me locate my items. When I'm looking for some cordless drills and saws that I'll only use 6 - 12 times a year for projects, I want some cheap Ryobi or similar.
