The rudest customer service counter I've ever experienced. Tuesday evening March 22nd. The associate Brenda behind the counter transferred my call when I was mid sentences to the wrong department. She sighed after one simple question like I made her run a mile. The young lad in the gardening department was polite bright and happy to help, give him a raise and fire ---Brenda. Warning! Lowes won't exchange anything over 90 days....... Wife bought me an attic ladder last year for Christmas $298, and like some guys, I didn't get around to installing until now, only problem was the wrong size, I took back to Lowes unopened to just exchange for the right size. Nope, nada, wouldn't even check with a Mgr. Told me to try sell it on Swip Swap. I spend alot of money at Lowes, since do alot of home repairs myself and live close to store. Not saying it's a bad store but I'm going to shop around for store or online policy for major purchases from now on. read more

In late 2018 Lowes installed 3 new Pella windows on my home. 10 days later, the windows were bulging out from the window frames. They had separated from the exterior walls. This was the beginning of a continuing nightmare trying to get what I thought a simple project done right. I called Lowes and the original salesman who sold me the windows. Rocco, the salesman, didn't even have the time to call me back once. Lowes sent out the installer who said it was the manufacturers fault. Lowes then sent out the manufacturer who said it was the installers fault. Lowes' immediate solution was to try and re-install the very windows that the installer said are defective. I had to demand that they instal new windows and I also wanted a different company to install them. They ordered new windows that didn't get installed until today about 4 months later. During the time I waited, I had to initiate communication continually. Don't think they will keep you updated on material coming in or when it might be installed. You have to keep calling. What sent me over the edge today is that when they came in to re install another set of windows. It was the very same installer that I told I didn't want to come again. This was in part for the half-ass job of skimping on the insulation foam and not using shims. I will never use this Lowes again for anything! read more

Two times I feel attacked by front desk when trying to return items seems to be my problem. I spend 20k to get treated like dirt when returning things I know need for the finishing touches. Thanks for being the girly angry store about to close home depot can teach your people how to act. Garden center review: Until last week, this was a halfhazard area, neglected by staff & customer(because of neglected plants). Dead greenery under pots, plants lacking in water, area without a purpose. Lowes has in the last couple weeks rearrranged this area, cleaned it up a bit. Variety is lacking. There is even a small fake plant area here. I've asked several associates here, no one [ knew] what lecca balls were( until I brought it to their attention-there were lecca balls crushed on the ground that are "brought in by vendors"?) I explained what they were, the purpose, its material..etc. Not a clue. At a garden center. read more

People working here were not friendly or helpful. Was looking for surge protectors. Once I was begrudgingly told where they were, there were boxes of them on the floor. They were misplaced on the shelves as they didn't ring up at the price they were on the shelves above. The woman running the self-checkout begrudgingly removed them from my total. I was the only customer at the checkout and it was a total imposition for her as I disturbed her from leaning on the counter. read more

Service here has always been excellent but today I saw 4 or 5 employees not wearing masks or taking their mask off to talk! I was quite shocked that they were being so lax in the middle of a pandemic. A few customers also were not wearing face masks even though a sign was posted on doors requiring customers to do so. read more

We recently moved and needed to purchase a new washer/dryer. Because my brother is a frequent customer at this location, he put me in touch with Chelsea, an employee at this location, to help me out. I didn't even have to go in the store because Chelsea was so helpful... we spoke on the phone a few times and she emailed me some suggestions (and specials) based on what we were looking for. Needless to say, this saved us a ton of time. Once we decided on what models we wanted (Samsung by the way), Chelsea facilitated my payment by phone and delivery literally happened within 24 hours. We were thankful for this because we'd gone over a week by this time without doing our laundry! We are enjoying our new machines and are thankful to have worked with Chelsea at this Lowe's store. Hopefully we won't be in the market for any more major appliances for awhile, but if you are, I highly recommend calling or visiting Chelsea! read more

Service was ok, the company they use had a few good guys doing installs. Bought 3 new toilet, high end stuff, total bill was $1500. One of the toilet seats was defective after 5 months, just cracked in two. Called the store and they arranged to have it replaced. On the day it was supposed to be replaced the service guy called and said it was not covered under warranty. Told me to go to the store where i bought it to return it and get a new one. At the store they told point blank and very loudly and rudely "we are not taking it back". Needless to say I was a bit livid. I asked to speak with the manager and the man said he was the manager, and that he's not taking it back. So, I went to Home Depot to get the replacement, $1500 dollars for a defective toilet seat that cracked in half. Don't much like Home Depot either but at least they stand behind what they sell. Won't be going back to Lowes anytime soon. read more

This is one of the better locations, although it's always pretty busy. Stock is good, plenty of things are out for display, and the store is always clean and tidy. Sometimes it's hard to find someone if you need help, but when you do, they are always very helpful. read more

I am waiting today March 22, 2023 for an electric stove to be delivered between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Needless to say the window has been missed with no communication. When I called Lowes after three attempts to have someone help me, Troy in appliances was defensive and said it's just a delivery window. Not to mention this is the FOURTH delivery date Lowes has provided me. If the stove does not arrive today I will be getting a full refund. I will never purchase a single item from Lowe's again and also recommend you do not do business with them. read more

Paint department is always helpful. My company buys a lot of paint and hardware tools from Lowe's and paint really stands out. They always work hard to help me find what I need. Hardware is often out of common nuts and bolts or tools. A bit frustrating and I usually go online to Harbor Freight. read more

Service at the counter was rude. Couldn't get any customer service to cut wire in electrical. So, going to Home Depot.

So I must say I was so very disappointed with this Lowe's store today! I have spent 1000's of dollars here through the years and probably 2 or 3 thousand this year alone. I had a Porter Cable drill and impact kit given to me as a gift. Of course I have no receipt nor do I have the credit/debit card used for the purchase. Well to say the least, they wouldn't exchange it even though the drill is definitely broken. I'll also add, you can tell it hasn't been used much and it's not years old. Furthermore, they have 16 of the exact kits on the shelf for $129. The model hadn't changed. It wasn't a new upgraded color or design. It was exactly the same as the one I had. I spoke with the store manager, Don Egler, and must say he is the most rude individual. I cannot believe they are willing to lose a loyal customer over $129. I'll close by saying this, that is exactly what happened. I will never spend another red cent at Lowe's. I will gradually work towards replacing anything that I know was purchased from them with a competitors brand. I will also tell every person I meet this story and beg them to spend their money elsewhere. Now I realize this review won't hurt their business much, in the grand scheme of things, but I had to get it off my chest. So if your reading this make you're own decision based on what is best for you but don't expect great customer service because you'll not get it. read more

We love Lowe's. I wish they had one in Flagstaff. We stopped in to take a look at their gas stoves then roamed around before leaving.

This review is to thank Rahab at Lowes Deer Valley....We Purchase two whirlpool appliances from Lowe's about a month and a half ago about four weeks ago they were delivered, one was the refrigerator the other a gas range, the gas range quit working several days ago, I contacted the manufacturer they told me it was gonna be over a month till they could get somebody out to even look at it and then if it needed parts it could be another 12 to 18 weeks to get the parts, this is totally unacceptable so I called Lowe's, at the happy Valley store I talked to Rahab and he was amazing, he is going to exchange the stove for me even though it's outside of their company policy made all the arrangements been extremely helpful, companies need more employees like Rahana, he truly understands what customer care and customer service means, it's nice to have somebody go to bat for you in the corporate world that we live in now and make things right especially when they don't have to thank you so much Rahab read more

This is a very nice Lowe's! From the front entrance, there are many plants for sale and the outside is clean with great curb appeal. On the inside, aisles and departments are clearly marked with large signs. The inside of the store is bright, clean, and very open. My husband and I went in to get a copy of a key made for our car. The associate was very friendly and literally finished making our key within one minute! We also looked for a garage door opener but, unfortunately, they did not have the brand we were looking for. read more

I am getting more and more disappointed with this store's customer service, or lack there of. The first time, I was inquiring about kitchen cabinets. The sales person sent an email to their cabinet person, to order me some samples of wood colors. Several weeks passed by without hearing anything or getting an email response...so I decided to take another route in my kitchen (added door knobs/ handles instead of replacing the cabinets). This next time, I paid $35 to get an estimate to move and hang a ceiling fan in the living room. I was told it would only take 24-48 hours to get a quote. After a week, Lowe's finally called back. Now they're quoting almost $400, when the standard install is $100. This just seems astronomical to me. I have to wonder how much Lowe's is making. This makes me VERY skeptical about having anything done by Lowe's in the future! read more

I went into this Lowe's yesterday because I just recently bought a new home. And can I just say the customer service at this location was amazing! I have never had so many associates genuinely offer help and truly wanted to assist! It was so refreshing and I will definitely be back to this location! Well, walking into this Lowes.. much cleaner then other Home Improvement stores. More employes around to assist, which was a nice change. We spent almost 3 hours in the home decor department, which made me hate life. Upon arrival, there was a guy around who tried to assist us, however, he clearly was not trained for that particular department. Good try my friend. We had to wait about 30 minutes or so until the guy that normally works the home decor department came back from lunch. We were told that he was going to page us over the intercom when he was back. That never happened. 2 life fails in one moment. Well, short angry story later... 3 hours wasted, 3 life fails. We finally walked out making the purchase for the project after the department manager came to help. read more

I want to give a shout-out to David over at appliances. Someone in that department resold my appliance because they didn't bother to see that it was already sold. Not only that, but instead of getting all my appliances July 10th, I was going to get them August 14th. I went to the store, spoke to David, and he had everything ready for pickup two days later. Because of him, Lowe's will continue having my business. This is what true customer service is all about. I have observed him in action, and customers patiently wait for him because they know he'll take care of them. His peers should take notes from him instead of sitting around looking like they don't want to be there. David, you have a customer for life. read more

Kudos to the two gentleman who helped me out today. I did not catch their names but one worked in hardware and the other in the door section area. An item was listed online and in store for purchase. All three of us spent about half an hour looking for the item but could not find. One of the gentlemen even called another store to see if they can locate it, and hold it for me but they could not find it on the shelves either. I had left, but had stopped outside the store to look up other hardware stores on my phone. Just as I started walking back to my car, one of the gentlemen ran out of the store with the item. He had gone to look again after I had left and even tried to chase me down. Again, kudos to the excellent service. Such customer dedication is very hard to find these days. Thank you. read more

I have received service here that is so outstanding I am sooo sold on Lowe's! They are extremely customer service oriented, and if you buy a defective product from them they will actually make good on it by either fixing it or giving you another. If I was offered a title for my review, I would write "Well that's an hour and and half I'll never get back in my life"! I received $160 in Lowe's gift cards and wanted to purchase 3 items over $300 w/o tax. So I opened a Lowe's CC account to receive 20% discount. (I wasn't sure if I would receive to 20% discount on the entire purchase ((using gift cards and the newly applied CC)), as it turns out I could only receive the discount on the amount I purchased on the CC). Okay, (even though I didn't agree that I did not receive the 20% discount) but moving on.... While checking out at the register, the lady didn't know anything about the 20% (even though I should her the copy of the email) and couldn't figure out how to ring up the order with the discount. So after many different conversations with her supervisor, she was able to ring up the order with the 20% discount. But then unable to use the gift cards, she processed the purchase "without me signing". Again called her supervisor (this time she came over). I was told since the order was processed on the CC, they would need me to go to customer service and (basically return all for credit). I suggested we just do this at the register, as I didn't want to start all over again and how could the sales lady process the order if I didn't even sign for it? I was told there was nothing she could do and if I wanted to use the gift cards I had to move the their customer service. Well that was about an hour I lost and was left with no option. Off to CS, waited about 5-10 in that line. Then explained the story to the CS person (I could tell she was fairly new to this position, but was willing to correct the problem). She first returned all, then I used the gift cards to purchase one item (that worked OK, but no 20% discount). Then scanned the remaining items (using their CC) but the 20% discount would take (I had to keep telling her the discount was showing). After three tries, the 20% discount finally showed up. Again there's an 1.5 hours of my life I'll never get back. To me it just seemed like the Lowe's people were not trained, just placed on the registers and told to do their best. I can't wait to see the CC statement, I'm keeping all receipts just in-case.... Personally I think I'll return/close the CC account with Lowe's. There was just too many issues to continue doing business there. read more

As others have noted, repeatedly and consistently, this place is a customer service cesspool. Folks working here are about as disengaged as you can get, and many of them genuinely don't give a shit. Not one but two recent experiences have made this 100% clear to me. First, on a recent trip to pick up soil, I wanted to pay in the garden center (which I had parked not far from, purposely). Nope, the new girl doesn't have a clue how to run the terminal, so she is unable to take my money. She tries to act like there's a problem with my card or with paying by debit, and asks if she can run it credit instead. If I wanted to pay credit, I would have taken out a credit card, not a debit card, right? And seeing as how credit costs the store many times more than debit, one would think that the last thing you'd do is dissuade a customer who -wants- to pay debit. I ended up having to go instead the store, pushing my cart 200 yards down to the one and only open register in there, on the complete other end of the store, of course. I get to the register, and there are not one, not two, not three, but FOUR employees with their backs collectively turned, including the woman at the check out. Just standing around like the useless sacks of shit that they are. One of them (the manager) finally notices I'm standing there and motions to the cashier that there's a customer behind her, at her register. No apology, just the half-hearted "hey turn around, some asshole customer behind you actually expects service today" gesture. When I finish paying the cashier, who I'm sure desperately just wants to get back to her conversation (I know this, because the manager is still there waiting to resume it), I tell her I tried to pay back in the garden center, but no dice because they can't operate their register back there. She waves Mr. manager over, and I give him the same spiel, including the fact that I now have to walk 200 yards back through the parking lot instead of walking out the garden center directly, all because this nitwhit can't do her mindless job. He says he'll look into it and heads off that way while I begin my trek through the parking lot. No apology of course, because that would have made too much God damn sense. Second experience, more recently, I'm down there just looking to buy a handful of housekeeping items, only expect to be in the store a few minutes while I make the rounds and grab everything I need. I make it to our first item and then, out of the blue, you hear on the PA system, 'Ding Dong! Special assistance needed in spray paint." I thought nothing of it and continued shopping. Every minute or so, it goes off again. "Ding Dong! Special assistance needed in spray paint." After about 5 iterations, given that the store is empty (8:30 pm), I start asking myself how hard it could be to get someone over there. By the time I got to the register, I shit you not, that damn thing had gone off at least 10 times. Besides that, check out itself was another example of lackluster service. I get to the register, smile at the cashier, put my four items on the counter for her. You know what the first words out of her mouth were to me? "That'll be $xx.xx". No, I'm not joking, that was the first time she spoke, after scanning everything and totaling it up. Had a serious case of resting bitch face the whole time too. The store closes within 30 minutes, so you think maybe, just maybe, you could fake some small modicum of enthusiasm? Wow. Icing on the cake, I told her as I grabbed my stuff, while the PA went off for probably the 15th time by this point, "Ding Dong! Special assistance needed in spray paint," that I felt sorry for whomever was waiting in spray paint. She just gives me this indignant look, as if she was offended that I was suggesting people weren't getting helped. I think she muttered something as I walked off, possibly about the PA being broken, but I was half way out the door at that point and just ignored her. Bottom line, you would really have to work hard to be less helpful and less engaged than the people working here. Considering that none of them know shit about anything, much less have to do any actual work, you'd think they'd at least pretend to give a fuck, but no dice. To be honest, I can't even remember the last time one of those red-vested muppets even asked me if I needed help. Employees here don't know their shit, because they're shit, and while you'd think that would concern them, the only thing that seems to be a bother is having to provide service to a customer. read more

I usually have a good experience at this location. This morning at 7AM. We shopped and needed twine to tie down what we bought. The customer service girl sent me to the South exit where they had a do it yourself cart with bags on it. Once you exit you cannot re-enter. I went back in to customer service. She told me that "I was wrong because we swears she just saw some there this morning". The other girl got on the phone. Then she told me to go to the Garden Department do it yourself cart. It's a long time coming. Just about Every time I go to this Lowes there's something that tics me off. Time is everything waiting for employees to stock things while I wait for an answer is the biggest complaint. I should have helped them stock to get my answers quicker. I go to Lowe's for most lighting fixtures sin e they have a better selection than other box stores and they have a better cabinet selection with better prices and sales. This location is the best for having cabinets and pieces in stock. read more

The worst customer service and sales experience possible. Sadly I had high expectations since the other hardware store chain is allegiant to the corrupt president. I walked out of this store both frustrated and without purchasing the items I wanted/ordered. I went in to pick up my items I had reserved online the night before. The cashier could not process my credit card and indicated it was declined. When I checked with my bank the card was declined due to the wrong expiration date being entered. The card was valid and I had plenty of credit... So, I returned to this same store at 245pm. I was greeted by a customer service representative who knew nothing about online orders and another customer service rep had to assist him with locating the order and then processing it again. Once again the order took a long time to process and resulted in them deciding to do an in store purchase instead. That did not work either! Then they decided to just sell me my two items from the store directly. The male associate had to ring up my purchases yet AGAIN. When my card was read as a debit instead of a credit and would not go through TWICE I decided then that Lowes is not in the hardware business nor do they wish to make money based on their staffs incompetence and their lack of functioning technology. The amount of time that it took to go through all this shenanigans and to be declined, not authorized wait for incompetent staff to not know how to ring up a purchase was 1. FRUSTRATING and 2. INTOLERABLE and a WASTE OF MY TIME!!!! read more
