The store is what it is and generally has a fair selection of products in it. Some of the people are somewhat helpful. But most of the people they have working in the aisles or generally rude and unhelpful. Maybe they're just rude to women or anybody they perceive may actually need some help but I sent my wife in to pick up some pipe strap and they walked around like a bunch of Keystone cops. I went into the garden section of the Lowe's this morning and was blown away by the great customer service. I was greeted at the door with a smile and hello. I started to the back of the garden center to load up 20 bags of mulch. The person who greeted me followed me asking if he could assist me. I am 61 years old and in pretty good shape. He helped me load my cart and he and another employee helped me load the 20 bags of mulch on my pickup truck. I've never been helped so much in my life. I felt a little guilty, but really appreciated their assistance. Good job Lowe's!! read more

God forbid you have to ask someone a question. The store is stocked, but don't bother asking anyone for help with anything. I brought my old lock to ask the old man in hardware if he knew if they carried a match, and without looking at me or the lock, he told me no. Then stood over me and blocked half of the aisle with his ladder (that he was not using). Every item I picked up, he would say "nope" and "I already told you 'gal'." So. Luckily a knowledgeable customer was able to help me with finding a fitting lock. Good luck. read more

Never never ever order appliances and have them installed by Lowes. I thought it would be simple. I called and ordered an appliance package. I was on the phone for over 3 hours. They asked if I had granite and I said yes. But they didn't tell me I need a special piece for installing the dishwasher. I had to leave the installer alone in my house and run out to Lowes to buy the part, or take another day off work and reschedule. They didn't tell me there are 2 different power cords for the stove. The delivery man attached a 4-prong, then left it in my living room. I have to go back to the store again for the other cord and wait for another driver to come out and change it. Told them I need late delivery, and they scheduled me for 8am. Wish i could give zero stars. Never ending nightmare!​ read more

Lowes delivered one washer and dryer that I realized was broken in the first 48 hours and returned. The second, top of the line Maytag washer and dryer was delivered and it took me a few days to realize something was wrong with it. Lowes will not accept return, replace or repair of any type. Never anyone to help you find products, last week couldn't get anyone to help with a landscape water timer. No one was in plumbing and workers in other departments said it wasn't their department so I went to Home Depot and the guy there answered all my questions and I bought a $275 sprinkler timer from him. Today I come back for a solenoid and no one is in the department to help me again. The website also says that they take Apple Pay but they don't. Someone needs to do something about the help in the store I live across the street and I will drive to Home Depot just to make sure these people don't get my money now. read more

If you've been to one Home Depot or to one Lowe's you've pretty much been to all of them since each of their respective stores are merely cooking cutter replicas of their others. I tend to gravitate towards this particular one, being a Lowe's not just because it is close to where I reside but unlike competing Home Depot I always seem to be able to locate someone to speak with, arrange installations and have generally been able to avoid the horrid hassle of scheduling such installations, putting up with crappy workmanship or no shows. Lowe's has always followed up to be sure that I have been satisfied with any installation that they have arranged for me, and if not have quickly corrected any problems. I confess that I'm not a fan of any of these big box store outlets, but they are really difficult to avoid doing business with in our present commercial environment. read more

The last 2 days I've been dealing with a delivery issue that no store can figure out. I finally got fed up and went to my store of purchase. When I arrived I asked for the Store manager and I was told to hold on that he was walking around. As expected someone else came out and asked if the assistance store manager could assist. I told them "no" since I had already dealt with 2 other ASM. After waiting for a few minutes I was told he was not in the store. Obviously he a a coward and does not talk to his customers when issues arise. I've been in big box retail for 30 years and clearly this is a sign of poor leadership in the store. I went to Lowe's in Pompano Beach last night to see about purchasing a floor lamp. I was told by a sales associate who helped me that the lamp was out of stock in their store. He said I could order it on line and have it delivered to my house. I asked if there was a delivery charge, he responded, no, not when you order on line. I go and order on line and it says there is a delivery charge. I just called the store and the man who answered said they always charge a delivery charge. Very confusing for a customer. The man on the phone tonight said I was upset. I said no, not upset, confused as to why I am getting conflicting answers about a delivery charge. read more

Lowe's Home Improvement Center is located just two blocks from my house and we go there for all our house related needs. The variety of products is great, but they are lacking staff. Last week I came in to get some products for my plants and was told that there is only 1 person available at the whole garden section. Only 1 person was also a manager of that section and she told me that they don't have any other workers at this section. She was helpful and friendly, but the line of people who needed help was huge and many of them left before they could be helped. Advice to Management: Please hire some employees, you are losing business. read more

I'm not sure why this specific Lowe's has such terrible reviews - it's my new "go to" place! I moved to Lighthouse Point; a 5 minute drive from here. Considering we're renovating, 2-3 trips to Lowe's every week is almost necessary. Every time I come here, I receive the best customer service. There are tons of employees walking around asking customers if they need assistance. Many of them are extremely knowledgeable and are always willing to help or provide tips/tricks for our project. this Lowe's is terrible. do not buy major appliances from them. please save yourself and go anywhere else. we bought a brand new Maytag washer dryer. didn't work. bought a second maytag washer and dryer. didn't work again. we paid $1,600 and Lowe's has refused to do anything. won't take them back, won't return or exchange and refuses to fix or repair or credit. in fact they literally hung up on me. I think they are knowingly selling broken appliances and refusing to do anything to help the consumer- because that is their plan. once they stick you with the broken appliances they walk away and tell you it's not their problem it's a warranty issue. shameful. 6 weeks of this run around and taking the family clothing to the laundromat. never been so abused and humiliated and ripped off in my life. read more

This place. Ugh. Every time we go in here it's completely understaffed and it shows! Lowes, you aren't saving any money by employing a skeleton crew, rather you bleed money EVERY DAY because your employees are clearly overworked and grumpy as....(fill in the expletive) and make people not want to purchase anything! One visit...we needed help with custom bathroom cabinets, a grumpy older man straight up rudely says he can't help us, claims he called for help, we waited about 15 min and no one ever came. We left. Another visit we were looking at vanities for the downstairs bathroom. Again couldn't find help. We left without purchasing a thing, again. Every visit you either get no help, or have to beg for it. Case in point, on our most recent visit we had the 'luxury' of a manager checking us out, and he was the worst of them all! Total miserable individual - no smile...huffing and puffing like the big bad wolf from LRR. Relax dude. The fact that we needed to be rung up, and assistance locating a ceiling fan that they were out of was apparently an extreme annoyance to his life, and he did not even attempt to hide it! We were only going here because it's very near our current home, but after all these experiences, we started driving further to go to Home Depot. Three strikes and you're out Lowes! It's taking them for ever to finish re-arranging the store. Appliances and flooring are still in a bit of disarray. Other than that, I like the cleanliness of the store and the layout is pretty easy to follow and find what you're looking for. There's a large private parking lot so never an issue finding a spot. There's separate entrances for the lawn and garden departments and also a covered loading zone on the north end of the store near the lumber and commercial counter to help load those larger orders. Checkout is a breeze with plenty of open registers with friendly cashiers waiting to assist you. They also have self checkout option if that's your thing. 5% off everyday for using your Lowe's card and 10% off certain days for active military members or veterans. read more

This Home Depot-clone is a decent place to go if you need anything construction or home related. I'm not often in need of such things ... but I had to hit up this location for some storage containers for my office. Staff was really helpful - got me a flatbed cart to carry all my boxes away. No one at the front offered to help me to my car ... but granted, I didn't ask either. I'm really not a fan of these massive stores, especially given that almost nothing they sell interests me. But I appreciate that they have EVERYTHING you could ever want. I think the prices are somewhat better than Home Depot (which I generally consider a ripoff). read more

We needed to update the kitchen in a new tiny holiday condo we just aquired. That was far easier to say than I could have believed, considering the contractor I employed. Well, I needed to go to Lowe's every day for something. Not being familiar with the place...and speaking with a funny accent...and being unfamiliar with the difference between American terminology for tools, and Australian terms, I was literally challenged...literally. The people at Lowe's were unfailingly pleasant and helpful. Even when I asked for things in proper measurements (ie meters and centimeters), they were patient and reminded me of earlier times in my life, when other parts of the world also used imperial measures. Anyway, Lowe's impressed me. They have a wide selection, seem to be well priced and tried to make an Aussie DIY'er's life just a little bit easier. Well done. read more

I went to Lowe's to return about a couple hundred dollars worth of extra items that I no longer needed... The system was able to scan in everything that I had purchased. They would not issue me a store credit because something with my drivers license had blocked it. When I simply asked to understand the policy, they treated me very poorly as if I was trying to steal from them or something... they directed me to a phone number, which I called and all it was was a voicemail that I had to leave my drivers license number and the phone number... What a weird way to do business. I have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars here. I have chosen no longer to shop here or any other Lowe's. I ordered my new vinyl flooring online at Lowe's. Had to wait two weeks for the material become available for delivery. Received a call from Lowe's confirming the delivery on the day before. Until that everything was fine. On the day of the supposed delivery I received three texts with the order status, went to receive the material and it never showed up. Spent 2+ hours on the phone trying to get a hold on somebody that would be able to figure out where was my material. On the website it showed as delivered but I never got it. It's being four days and every time I try to call I'm putting on hold and never answered. Whenever somebody finally picks up the phone they can't tell me where my material is. The only answer that I get is that the customer care is looking into it, but that's it. No call, no e-mail, no answer at all. Almost 3k in material that was supposed to be installed this weekend and nothing. Now I have a schedule problem, a charge for something that I didn't received and no solution... customer care from Lowe's is worthless. I don't now why they bother to have a phone number if no one ever picks up. The message even says that there is 0 (zero) customer waiting and even so no one ever answer my calls. Horrible customer service! We went here to buy a dishwasher, we were told it was in stock and that we could pick it up at 8pm the same day. We called to confirm pickup and was transferred to the appliance department just to be hung up on. This happened 3 times. Finally a manager answers and says he will look into the issue, only problem is he never called us back. We wound up getting a refund and went to BrandSmart where we purchased a better dishwasher for a lower price. I highly recommend going anywhere but here! Situation: New fridge went kabluee yesterday. Frigidaire gave me a local repair shop to come check my icemaker situation (making water instead of ice). R&R Appliance came out to check the problem. Jesus was super nice & explained everything to me, but, the repair shop could not fix it that day (Wednesday). Jesus said they can't come back 'til Monday with parts to try and repair, so I called Frigidaire. Frigidaire said, 'sorry, we must try to repair it before we can replace it.' I said, 'I've had the fridge for 10 days and your gonna leave me without one for 5 or more?! That's awesome customer service, not!' Not sure why the low scores but I've never had an issue here. I placed my order online & was in & out in 20 minutes. Returns have never been an issue & they treat you much better than Home Depot. I actually started going here after walking away from a cart with over $400 in it at Home Depot because their customer service chick was quite racist.
