I found what I wanted online and the La Frontera Lowe's was the closes one to carry the product I wanted. I printed out the product just to help me find it. I could not find it and asked for assistance. It took quite a while to find someone to help. The gentleman who did assist me was very nice. He found what I was looking for and reasoned out that my printed item was indeed the same one as in the store for $8 less per piece. He instructed me to take my printout to the register and ask them to price match it. The lady at the register had to go ask a manager if she could price match this item. She said they could not. They could not verify when I printed the page. Yes, they could have looked it up on line themselves. Did they? No. So I went home and ordered the same item online and picked it up in the store, with a complaint to customer service. Lesson learned. Shop elsewhere. read more

We decided to use Lowe's to install double pane windows throughout our house. The job would take one to one and a half days to complete. The job was started in the second week of march and we're still waiting for the job to be finished, today is the 4th of june. One side light window that was installed, was manufactured crooked, i told the contractor to take it out, Lowes ordered another, when it came in, it was 2 inches too wide, the label glued to it even had the correct measurements, posted a few pics of the SNAFU. Just had the last side light installed, the factory actually built this one to the correct dimensions, the contractor that installed it , Joe Morales, did an excellent job. We had 4 different companies quote this job, Lowe's was the only one that wanted all of the money upfront. read more

Very disappointed with this Lowe's. We bought a refrigerator from them and we told the salesperson we would need the door changed to swing from right to left. He assured us the people who would deliver it would take care of it. That didn't happen!!! The deliver guy told us that someone else would change it. Well the guys who were supposed to change the door showed up and ask us where the hardware to change the door was. He said the delivery guy was supposed to have left it here. Well he called who ever to tell them hardware was not here, so he left without changing the door. A few days later two more guys showed and again they didn't bring hardware. All they were told was the needed to change door. So now, the HELL WITH LOWES, we called an independent company which we have to pay, because Lowe's can't get there act together. I waited several weeks before posting this so I could cool down. Lowes in Round Rock is close to my house and has a good selection of appliances for average prices. So, I had gotten into the habit of buying appliances there ever since the store was built. Recently I bought a dishwasher from them. They delivered it and installed it. All very well done. Except the dishwasher died nearly a month ago and although they sent a guy out he was not prepared for a burned out circuit board. Why? He should have at least one of every part that can fail. We are now well into the second week of waiting for him to show up with the circuit board. It only took a couple of days to get the board... But, now we have to wait for as long as we waited for the first visit because of there scheduling problems. Nearly a month and no dishwasher. Maybe next Friday they said today. So, before the dishwasher died I ordered a new stove. Nice stove. It is a gas stove. We tried to buy installation but were told by a nice human that the crew that delivered it would install it. So the stove showed up. The delivery crew refused to install it. They wanted to leave it my driveway. I had them take it back. Lots of telephone calls ensued during which I was repeatedly told that I did not buy installation. I was told I could not buy it, and that I did not need it. A couple of weeks later they sent the same stove to me with a crew who installed it. I talked to three levels of management to get that done. The fellow who installed the stove did not test it. A couple of the burners do not work.l We are now trying to get them to send someone to fix it. No luck so far. When the guy left he left a part that he had not installed. Her said he had never seen such a thing before and had no idea what to do with it. Then he left. It took my wife maybe 3 minutes to look the part up in the instalation manual. I grabbed a screwdriver and installed spacer that is supposed to go between the back of the stove and the wall. The point is that the installer was incompetent. He did not even try to look up the part in the installation manual. He just left. It will be a long time before I go back into any Lowes anywhere. I am done with this store. And, I didn't even spend time talking about their website that behaves like is was built by rabid gerbils. read more

Just moved to Austin a few months ago and I've been to many Lowes stores picking up supplies for our new home. I must say that the Round Rock location is my favorite. Management truly cares about the user experience as items are well-stocked and the place looks orderly, unlike other locations which look like they are in restock mode 24/7 with items scattered all over the aisles. Bad experience with trying to check out and social distancing. They have an area roped off that causes many people to be right next to each other walking through. Then at checkout you can't see what register is next and if you choose one with a big order you are stuck or you can try self checkout where items don't ring up correctly. Plus the self checkout looks dirty. Terrible experience. read more

I have been coming here for 6 years & always had a good experience. Staff is always friendly & willing to help when I want it. Seems like some people on here don't utilize the call buttons throughout the store that pages employees. Usually they practically come running to shut it off. Haha For some reason I like Lowes a little bit better than Depot. Maybe it's just the blue color that lures me in. I am so angry with Lowe's home delivery. I'm a property manager and I've purchased multiple appliances from them over the years. Mainly because their delivery service is awesome. So today they deliver my brand new stainless steel refrigerator and I leave them VERY SPECIFIC instructions where to put my old refrigerator along with a $40 tip. I purchased a refrigerator there and was scheduled for delivery. They never delivered the day it was suppose to be delivered. Then they scheduled for a day I would not be home. I cancelled the ordered and they put it back on my credit card. So I agreed one more attempt to deliver the refrigerator. No calls before to say it was coming. Ever since I became a home owner Lowe's has become my go to place for all my home needs, I have come here several times and recently purchased a great lawn mower that was on sale, a weed eater, fans, light fixtures, cleaners, basically everything you need for a brand new home. They recently had a paint sale and I took advantage of that and saved lots of money. I would of given them 5 stars but I don't feel the customer service is all that great, could definitely be better. I find it hard to get help in the store and when you do they typically have an attitude. Overall they do have a better selection from Home Depot. read more

Nice service and garden is in a very good condition. I liked plants arrangements in garden and Halloween decor displays a lot. Looks like a clean store. Horrible experience. Purchased 4200.00 (cash) worth of bath tub and refrigerator from this location on 5/26/2017. Waited an hour for them to find the tub after they received it, now I get a call that fridge will arrive in August "maybe". Delivery was early this week. Oh, and I was waiting at home for delivery when "I" called them to find out when to expect the fridge. Turns out they waited till 4 days before my delivery to actually order it. Never again! Just had a terrible experience at this Lowe's (Round Rock) I just went in there to purchase two appliances. After 30 minutes of looking no one came to help. I decided to take item numbers and went to resister , the lady rand me up and I asked her "how long will it take them to bring me my appliances" (mini fridge and dish washer ) she noted her head and said I don't know, I did not wan to pay until I know someone could go and get them. After 30 minutes at register I got very frustrated watching how Lazy most all the employees are , they kept calling each other PASSING THE BUCK TO EACH OTHER, Finally I want and fluid a dolly from The employee area and went and got the fridge my self in less that 5 minutes. She had to ring me up and no one , no one not even the coward manager came to help or do something about it . I did not purchase the dishwasher as I just wanted to get out of there. (My kid was frustrated) On of the employees that was too lazy help before, offered to help with mini fridge and I said NO YOU HAD 30 minutes to help and you did not. It is a shame that the managers would hire people like This , There are good employees out there you just have to work hard to find them, apparently this store in only good at making bad hires. I wrote review to help future customers and maybe help a manager at making better hiring decisions . This was my second visit out of 3 at this store having a bad experience. There was a foreign old woman who was very rude and disrespectful. I spoke with management and they assured me that they would speak with her, but when I called back she had the same exact behavior. When you order a kitchen full of cabinets from Lowes this is what you get! A pile of cabinets, stacked on a pallet, wrapped in plastic. Check your order because you might be 1, 2, or like me, 3 cabinets short. That's not counting the two completely destroyed, unusable cabinets (those beautys in the pictures). I can't believe that Lowes thought this would be "ok" to send KNOWING that I was going to be home to accept the delivery. This is mind boggling, Lowes! Tried using their online order pick up today. When you get there there are two online order pickup sections. One in front of the Lumbar exit (which is where I parked because I had approached the store from that side) and one by the entrance. (I didn't see that there where two sections until I checked after my bizarre experience) I park, call the number and tell the guy answering what spot I'm in. He proceeds to tell me I'm lying, no ones in that spot. I assure him I'm there and even read the sign that I'm parked at to him it said "Lowe's.com online order pick up" he insists I'm lying and hangs up on me! Perhaps if Lowe's is going to have two sections in the parking lot devoted to pick ups their employees should be aware of that. And how about not calling customers liars? read more

This Lowe's and the delivery service need to learn how to say the words "I'm sorry". We spent a LOT of money on trim and made sure that it was going to be delivered on a certain day. When that day arrived, we waited for it for 5 hours and it was delivered at the end of the delivery period and it was the WRONG product that got delivered. There's nothing like spending over $1000 with a company, waiting for it for 5 hours and then having them deliver the wrong thing. Seems to me that they need people that actually care about the customer. Then, when we went to the actual store and talked to Diego, the manager, he really didn't seem to care much about our problem. He even said he could just refund us if we were unhappy, but that would have left us high and dry without the product that we needed. He didn't even offer an apology for our trouble or experience and didn't seem to care at all. We are going to go to Home Depot for the rest of the items in this project. We bought french doors through Lowe's and paid to have them installed. It took their contractor 3 weeks from the time we bought the doors to installation. A little ridiculous honestly. The contractor was late to appointments and did not return phone calls when he said he would. One of the guys who works in the door department at Lowe's told us there have been at least 5 other people that have had similar complaints. When in the store to pick up a chainsaw, Huskvarna Lowes brand Spent $369 and $40 for the protection agreement. Use a chainsaw to cut down one tree, Change was very loose tried to tighten it Couldn't tighten enough. So I take the cover off and notice the clutch for the chain is mounted on the cover. If you know anything about chainsaws this is a terrible idea and design. Struggled for 2 hours to get the clutch back on and finally gave up. 2 and a 1/2 hours to cut down one tree. Call Spoke with the manager at lowes, Ask if I could get some different replacement or Store Credit. I was told no And he chalked it up to I bought a shitty I saw. They said it was never scheduled to be delivered today because it was out of stock. What the hell?! Well now that spring has sprung and my time is off due to daylight savings time I discovered I needed to swap out my BBQ gas tank because the one I have was empty and the wife wanted to grill steaks. Since I like home cooked grilled steaks I ran over there to exchange my tank, actually the Batmobile drove me over. I was able to swap the tank out with no problems. I like Lowes they have lot of stuff for the do it yourself person and stuff for your yard and garden as well. For some reason I like their HDTV/video (etc.) cables section and I tend to buy mine here when I need them. OK now for the big story, garb a beer or coffee and settle in for it. Way back and a long time ago in the spring of the year 2010 we bought a very nice large BBQ grill, Lowes assembled it for us and a friend with a truck helped me get it home. The wife fired it up and cooked some large Ribeye steaks, yes they were a perfect medium rare and we ate them all up. Yum, Yum. At this point I noticed that the grease drain did not seem right and I was wondering how they were going to keep the grease off the ground. Hum as I was wondering over the next week or so we received a letter in the mail form Lowes. The basic content of the letter was: Yikes, the manufacture of this BBQ grill is recalling due to the chance of a grease fire burning the BBQ grill up. I knew it; I just knew something was wrong, I am glad we only used it once. Now with help from my friend again we took the BBQ grill back to Lowes, we had no problem returning it for a full refund. The Lowes employee that unloaded in from the truck told us about the one that was returned the day before that was completely burned up and solid back. (My grill was silver.) DOH! Some of you now may asked did we buy another grill, or maybe not, actually most of you don't care one way or the other. The answer is no not at this time. That will be another story time for another review way back in the fall of 2010. Story time is over boys and girls hope you enjoyed your coffee or beer. I visited this Lowe's location today while looking at the outdoor furniture I noticed rat poop all over the tops of the sun covers through more personal investigation I realized there's most likely a rat nest in the air conditioning system blowing rat feces and urine dust through the air on tops of all these items all over the store when confronting the manager about this he was very nice to me and listened while i told him about the toxic air quality issue. And then one of their employees popped up and said they did have a huge rat problem and the Lowe's Corp knew about it and refused to close the store to address the problem. I only go to Lowes Garden Center. I mean I have gone into the store and bought other things but its all about the Garden Center for me. Pros: Their plant and trees are always in excellent condition The plant clearance section is always a steal. (25 to 50 cents for half dead plant and are very easily revived. Tons of planter choices including plastic. Cons: Sometimes it can be hard to track some down to help. read more

This location is unprofessional and has terrible service! I went in to purchase an outdoor fan and several employees were just standing around. When I asked for help it seemed like an inconvenience. Today on 6/17/16 I called the Round Rock Texas location for a status on my order. Customer care came online and asked what I needed, then put me on hold for 14 minutes. When she came back on line she then told me she had to transfer me. I waited 14 minutes just to be transferred? I was transferred, the phone rang and rang then disconnected me. Lowe's has some of the rudest and least customer service oriented people in town. Over our decade near this store we have spent thousands of dollars here (building and renovating our homes) and only rarely have we ever been thanked for doing business with them. It is as if employee rudeness is trained INTO them when they start there, and sadly over the last couple of years it has gotten worse and worse. Employees are bothered when they actually have to work, especially Carlos in the plumbing dept. and the store manager, who we contacted personally about the issue. Firstly, I am a huge fan of any place where I can walk in, ask for help, and not get looked at like an idiot. I am a first-time home owner/buyer and I need tons of advice and help. Lowe's always offers helpful advice and they always are willing to help me. Most of the time, I am only looking for a product and can't seem to navigate the place. Darn my sense of direction. This, I shall too overcome. The prices are competitive on most things. I found two area rugs here for $20 each. Not bad. The only thing that cost a star was the garden area. I went at the beginning of spring and was mortified...Lowe's had a large variety of plants and flowers....that were dead and wilted. SHAME on you!! The nerve of trying to sell these false hopes. They did redeem themselves a little when I went back a few months later and they had beautiful calla lily plants. My favorite! Keep up the good work, Lowe's...but lay off the dead plants. read more
