Not worthy of even one star - Absolutely useless and unhelpful service at this location. Unable to answer any. specific. question. about color or undertones. Refused to even LOOK at pictures to offer suggestions. Obviously colors look different on the phone than in real life - say your disclaimer if needed but still LOOK and guide us to some potential options and swatches. Give us the opportunity to ask questions so you can provide input. This dude has no idea about cool or warm paint, undertones, what some new builds are using that are in the colors we are looking for, what are some popular ones nowadays. This is a paint store that doesn't know anything about paint. Lol. Received the absolute opposite service at Rooster's Paint Center in Round Rock and highly recommend them over this 'paint store'. read more

This location is brain-dead. I was standing out in a storm and they locked their automatic doors. They had three employees there and one was directly across from the door on the phone. I knocked on the glass and called the location to let them know the door was locked but got ignored. Took 10 mins for one of them to come turn the doors on and then they didn't even say anything, like the doors weren't even locked. Weird place. read more

Guy behind the counter eating grapes and then this store is out of $25 quarts of flat latex today so I have to buy a $35 gallon (this math makes perfect sense - I guess 1/4 of $35 would have been too hard to calculate. But wait - not just out of quarts of flat latex today. They are also out of $35 gallons so the only choice is a $45 gallon or drive around to other stores. Yet again great service. Went in to have some older paint matched as well as get white paint for trim boards. I took a trim board in and let them know I didn't want oil based. The many who helped me positioned it would take an hour or so to match, that's fine. Got a call about 1.5 hours later that it was ready for pickup. The match is spot on. After it dried I can't even tell the difference, the associate was also knowledgeable about how to apply it and prep the surface. Always search their website for coupons as they usually have some. read more

Stevie was VERY helpful and went out of his way to ensure that I left satisfied with my color match and that I paid a good price. He was very friendly and fast. After today, completely understand why this place has such a bad review. Should have trusted that and just gone to Lowe's. Went today since they had what seemed like a great Labor Day Sale going on. (I actually went twice. First time their system was down so they told me to come back a few hours later. Then when I went back the system was still down and they just needed to reboot it.) What they didn't tell me at all until they had already made the paint was that the sale was on list price, which is a tiny print price that they don't and didn't point out. So ended up with $70 a gallon paint, which was then on sale to be the more expensive that the most expensive brand at Lowe's. When I asked why it was so expensive and no one told me it was off tiny print list price - Michael decided to be extremely condescending and rude about it. Also as a Covid tip, none of them are wearing their masks properly. I will not be returning here again and I recommend you go to Lowe's instead, they have better pricing and better customer service by FAR. read more

Thorny moral dilemma, how do you review a place where you have had the worst and the best experiences? I will review this location, which should get 5 stars, and knock off one star for the company as a whole, mkay? As a long-time fan of Sherwin Williams and someone unable to make up my mind, I spend an inordinate amount of time buying paint. I went to the Burnet location when we bought our house to buy many gallons of paint. The guy behind the counter basically ignored me while he chatted with his co-workers and actually said, right in front of me, "I fucking hate this job, I can't wait til I get off. (turns to me) Can I help you?" Probably not. I decided to try my luck at the Braker location, where I met Justin. Not only was Justin helpful, knowledgeable and insightful, but he also understands the relationship between colors and how they can define your home. He helped me pick out 8 colors (and mixed many samples of "what-was-I-thinking") that make me happy every time I walk in the door. I can't say much about the other employees, I will wait until Justin is available to help me, but I believe he is a manager of some sort, so if he trained or hired them, I'm sure they're good. It's so rare these days to find someone who enjoys what they do and has the skills to match, so if you're in need of some paint, skip Home Depot and come see Justin. read more

They always do a good job when I go in knowing what I'm looking for. I went today to match some paint from the exterior from my home. The guy told me it would be an hour, so I left, came back in an hour and it was done. It was done, it was the price I was told, and the color he mixed matched the chip that I brought it. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because of the hour wait with no explanation. There were only 3 of us within the store. The sales person made sure to ask if I needed a brush, bucket, stirrer, etc. They had some wood putty in stock so I didn't have to make another stop on the way home. It was an easy trip and I appreciate that. read more

They lied to my face today. I was told that the paint, color and finish I wanted was not an available combination. It clearly states that the combined selections ARE valid on their website and another store confirmed the same. I can only assume they steered me towards what they had in stock rather than what I wanted. Not cool. Since paint with added pigment is not returnable today's purchase will be going straight to hazardous material disposal. Update : I was able to find the paint I originally wanted at another SW location. The assistant manager at Tech Ridge contacted me shortly afterwards and offered me a refund for my original purchase. The issue was resolved to my satisfaction. read more

On the 26 of January 2017. I had returned to SHERWIN-WILLIAMS for an order I placed a day earlier. The baseboard and drywall paint was not an exact match, but I was pleased. Not Cesar! (Employee@ Store #7211) This young man Cesar went beyond all measures of Professional Customer Service, He went into the system, then to the mixing station and "Presto"! It was an exact Match! {Noting this Info; The original paint color was more than 10 years old and no longer existed] Would like to give credit to the Store Manager[Bryan Roach}, he was on-site and just as involved and present as his employees,you Do NOT see this anymore {i.e; Walmart,etc.}.Outstanding!!
