I purchased a generic generator back in June of this year. I did get the generator approximately when it was schedule. problem is it is sitting between my gate in a box. without anyone to hook it up. Do not EVER by an appliance here. We bought a very expensive washing machine, which was defective when they installed it so they brought a new one. We purchased the extended Loew's protection plan. The washer broke down well within the warranty time period. To make a long story short, after 5 weeks and 4 visits by technician who replaced two parts, the machine broke down again IN EXACTLY THE SAME WAY (SAME ERROR MESSAGE). Supposedly after 3 visits you can get it replaced, But they refuse to do it. Thjey are ordering THE VERY SAME PARTS and making us wait another week. I have been on the phone for over 20 hours to Lowe's, to the protection plan people, to the manufacturer, all to no avail. Lowe's Protection plan is bogus. read more

This place is the worst. I want to use Lowe's because I just have an aversion to Home Depot. Customer service is just abysmal in this store. Good luck finding anyone who is nice or doesn't have an attitude. Here's a conversation I heard while in the checkout line. "He is so lazy." "Ya think?" "He's got me doing most of his work." I think the employees at this store just hate each other. The person helping us with the tile. "Did you pay for that yet." "No but I'm going to." "Our saw might not cut that." "Your saw will cut it." Ya know. This person was just a bitch. We were in there last week and I got attitude from another one. "Can you tell me where the air conditioners are?" "Right over there in front of you." Complete incompetence. Ordered a couple of vanities to be delivered via truck. Understanding the Covid situation have been very understanding. I had 3 attempts for delivery. Product was delivered to the store. Vendor was able to deliver. However, Lowe's associated can't seem to figure out how to put the request in for the outside company to make the delivery. After many attempts and a call to me personally telling me they would be delivered on Wednesday, I called the delivery company and no delivery was scheduled. I called the next day, finally got it delivered. This has nothing to do with the current situation we are facing, it's just complete incompetence from Lowe's. Management should be ashamed. I have never been so disappointed in a Loews. Staff in the appliance on Sunday 11/1 around 3pm were more focused on why they were going to do when they got out of work than their customers. What I found even more disturbing was a stainless fridge that was a return / repaired that when u opened it was dirty with mold and stunk of rotten food. A stove with a scratch on the glass top that the oven was dirty you could see the crust on the floor of the oven. Don't waste your time going it's not worth it read more

I hate Lowes as much as I hate Home Depot. I hate how large the store is, because you can never find anything you need. I hate how useless the employees are because they can never find anything. Today I went to pick up a special order. They couldn't find it, even though they had called to confirm the pick up earlier in the day. Finally they listened and we got the order, barely, but we got it. The customer service desk always has a ridiculous line of stupid people asking stupid questions. The stupid CS desk person was checking people out rather than directing them to the actual cash registers. The only thing I enjoyed was reading the signs in russian (!? I think of these big box stores as "vanilla" variations on one another (Lowes and HomeDepot), and have typically shopped at HomeDepot because it appears first when I head into Seabook. Recently went into HomeDepot looking for a small sink faucet and some advice; absent the advice (no one was visible after wandering around the store), I bought what I thought would work. Returned home with my new faucet, and my plumber smiled and said" Nah, you don't want an escutcheon plate".....which delayed finishing the job and required his returning to me. At Lowes, I seem to always find someone and the customer service desk is both knowledgeable and helpful. Lowes has earned my business. Customer service does it again. read more

Tool Rental; Lowe's doesn't have one. Engineering maps: Extremely common for blueprints to not work or cabinets to arrive with slightly different dimmensions. Rarely take in account Windows doors etc. Its just not professionally done Tools; The majority of their exclusive brands IME are inferior to exclusives at other hardware stores. Employees; I edited out the rant. But they are consistently below average and offer little help. If you come in the evening, good luck even finding somebody trained and willing to operate the various tools about the store. I think every associate that works the floor should at least be able at the minimun to cut keys. I consistently come here with the intention of trying to get in and out and it becomes a frustrating 30-60 minute venture of me not trying to anger employees. If Lowe's is necessary, I highly suggest Epping. Far more professional, I notice they also tend to keep a LOT of their employees. Do not order from Lowes online for in store pick up in Seabrook, NH. I ordered a Ring Video Doorbell 2 which came with a free Echo Show 5 for in store pick up at the Seabrook, NH Lowes for a Christmas present. The Ring Video Doorbell 2 was in stock but the Echo Show 5 was out of stock and would be available for pick up a week later. I received an e-mail a week later that my Echo Show 5 was in stock and my complete order was ready for pick up. I then received a phone call from Seabrook Lowes letting me know that they had my Echo Show 5 but had sold their last two Ring Video Doorbell 2's that day and were out of stock rather then putting one aside for my in store pick up. They were not sure when they would receive a new shipment of Ring Video Doorbell 2's and all surrounding Lowes stores where out of stock as well. So now I do not have the big Christmas present I purchased for my pregnant wife. I will no longer be shopping at Lowes after this experience. read more

On 08/29 I bought a Bosch refrigerator and dishwasher. Fridge delivery was scheduled for 08/31 and dishwasher for either 09/08 or 09/10 depending on when the store got it because it was at the "DC" (distribution center). I was told I would get a call the night before that would provide the delivery time. I did not get the call and they showed up at 8:30am on 08/31 when I was on the phone with the store asking when I should expect my delivery. It took them 10 minutes to find my order and then told me that the wrong phone number was entered. Obviously this was annoying since I literally wrote all my information down for the sales rep. We ended scrambling to remove all the food from the fridge so they could deliver the new fridge. They scratched my 4 month old LVT floor, the fridge sticks out to far and since the delivery the water dispenser has not worked properly. They apologized for me not receiving a call for the delivery and blamed it on the wrong phone number in the system, so I obviously gave them the new phone number so I would not have an issue with the next delivery schedule a little over a week away. Of course I did not get a call for that delivery the night before either date so I had to call on both days. On the 8th I could not get anyone for hours and called at least a dozen times so I just figured I would wait until the 11th because I had far to many things to do. On the 10th I finally got someone and they told me the delivery would probably be sometime after October because the dishwasher was not in stock. We went back and forth on how it could be in stock and not in stock and it felt like a Seinfeld episode and he explained that there must have been a "miscommunication with the girl who sold me the item". I would have possibly agreed except the gentlemen (who I believe ran the Appliance Dept) was actually the person who helped my wife and I and then turned it over to the "girl" when I told him we wanted to apply for a Lowes card and get the extended warranty. I assume this is because of some internal Lowes metric, but it did not matter to me who gets credit or commissions as long as I get what I want. I then informed the man he was the one that helped us. That we walked with him over to the exact Bosch Dishwasher we wanted and he wrote down the part number and went to the back to check if there was stock for the dishwasher there. This was the same thing he had done for the refrigerator and he found they had 2 refrigerators in stock (which is how we were able to get delivery so quickly on the fridge). He told us that they had no floor stock but that there were over 40 dishwashers at the DC. When he checked again he told me that the DC had nothing in stock but they had plenty of the cheaper version of the dishwasher I wanted at the DC and he could change the order and get me the cheaper one ASAP. Talk about BAIT AND SWITCH. I wonder how many times they have pulled this one over on people. I explained I wanted the one that we ordered and he explained he couldn't help, but there was stock in Amherst and told me to call them. I called Amherst and they told me that they had one in stock but it was already sold and if you looked in the system you could tell that. I called Lowes in Seabrook back on the 10th and 11th and cannot get through to a person and left my name and phone number (on multiple occasions) for them to call me back. I called again today (09/12) and the same thing no one answering and no one calling me back. But wait, there is more! The interior light and the water dispenser stopped working completely. I called the number they told me to call when they sold me the extended warranty and I cannot get anyone there. There is an automated service that tells you what number to push for service depending on the brand of your appliance, and of course for Bosch it tells me to contact Bosch directly. This is how you are treated buying appliances at Lowes. Learn from my mistake. Go to a local store and buy them there because incompetence and terrible customer service are running rampant at Lowes. read more

Turned into such a joke of a store. I had stopped in the store 4 days ago to make sure the mulch was still going to be on sale, the gentleman said "yes it was, it will be on sale through the weekend". I show up today (Sunday) to find out that was not the case anymore and they refused to help us out at all, despite us buying 50+ bags. The woman Pam, behind the register was a complete Bitch and the manager was useless. Explained I have been a loyal Lowes customers for years, always buy things from them for my house and the two businesses I own and that this would be my last visit if they refuse to fix it for me. Just wanted to compliment the two gentlemen who helped us out tremendously last night at Lowes in Seabrook. Greg in flooring was helpful, honest and even when we needed help in another department was all about getting us what we needed. Very impressed. Then, when we needed help in paint, a very nice and knowledgeable man helped us pick out just what we needed and he also helped us save a lot of money. Very disappointed with the customer service and lack of follow through. I have been waiting for my dishwasher to be installed since June 10. Now the installer tells me he won't do it on Tuesday as planned because of the electrical needs to be up and running for more than a day, even though the electrician will be there that morning prior to installation. I went to this location to get a propane dryer because my old one died on us. I explained to the staff that it was just the way my house was set up, and I didn't want to get electric because I'd have to pay to get a new three prong outlet installed. They had one available for at the store, and after I told them multiple times that I needed the conversion kit for the propane hook up, they sold me the dryer without the kit. The worst part is that they didn't even have it in stock, I would never have bought it if I had known that. After getting shuffled around on the phone for about a half hour, the manager never answered their phone and all I got was a random sales associate who actually sounded sorry for me. I had to cancel my appointment with my power company while Lowe's sent me the conversion kit via mail, which took two weeks and I still had to pay for it. Now my power company can't hook it up for another two weeks due to them being busy. Because of the incompetence of the people in this store location, from the time I bought the dryer to the time I can get it hooked up will be a month. It sucks not being able to do laundry for your family of five in your own home for that amount of time, all because they didn't include a part they knew I needed and they didn't even have. I don't care if I need something as simple as a drill bit, I'm going to make sure I go anywhere but here. read more

I had Lowe's install a dishwasher. It took the installer many weeks, iif not a month, to actually come to my house. Eating off of paper plates for that long was no fun! The installer, although a pleasant guy, took it upon himself to install a shutoff valve. At the end of the install, he told me that I owed him $40---He never told me that it was necessary or part of code, he just did it without my permission. read more

After a long 14 days road trip our family arrived at home with a stinky broken refrigerator. The next morning we bought the only one counter depth side by side, that fits our kitchen , they had. We live on the 3rd floor and it needed to be delivered. With 2 little kids it was hard , but the worst was at the delivery day (3 days later) they called and said there is a dent on the front door. (We asked for pics, and there was a big dent on the stainless steel). And give me 2 options , change the door for the display one OR give a 10% discount , wich is nothing . The warehouse manager does not want to give his name . He was talking as we had to take one of the option and without discussion. Put the pressure on us . We told him we would call back in 5 min so my husband and I could decide , but he said we have nothing to talk about. Never been treated like that in any Store. He is not making a favor to us , we have already paid $1200 plus tax (the full price ) at the day we order. Horrible ! Awful! Worst manager or whatever he is for the store. Bought a Husqvarna snow blower there for 999.00. When I got it home I couldn't get it to go in reverse. I called the store and was told that because I didn't purchase the extended warranty there would be a 200.00 charge to pick it up. So...being a long time competitor customer I saw an attic ladder stair kit for a reasonable price. I got the item and model number and saw Seabrook had three in stock. I found it and got a few other items. The price on the display and model numbers matched. I cashed out got to my truck and loaded everything up. I look at my receipt and I was charged 10.00 more for the ladder then the price listed online. I go back in and am told by the cashier to got o customer service. I go there and am told I bough the wrong one. The item number was off by one number. But it's the same kit. I can load it back onto a dolly and bring it in and exchange it. I take it home and call to complain about feeling like I was taken for 10 bucks. I checked the display price and model number but not the item number. I am told to take it back and switch it out. I wont waste anymore of my time with them. I will for sure not go back, Glad they only got me for 10 bucks! read more
