Excellent Customer Service. I want to give a huge shout out to Perry in the paint department for keeping me from bawling like a baby at Lowe's. Had the most stressful day. I had been working on my deck all day long and decided to come in to get a paint sprayer. Perry helped me out. I picked up the paint sprayer. Went home, watched YouTube videos and put the thing together prop it and by George, it would not work. So I decided to take the whole thing with the deck paint and the box back to Lowe's and there was Perry. When I tell you he went above and beyond I am not exaggerating. Here I am with this contraption full of paint asking for help and he did with a smile. He worked on it for over 20 minutes and found it was a defective nozzle. He was patient and kind. So as I'm standing there tired, sunburnt and covered in paint I smiled because he took the time to help me out. I have nobody besides google to help me and it was a blessing that he was there to help. I've been places before that don't even acknowledge you and this was amazing. Thank you Perry for helping me. Cheated me out of 900 points on my Lowe's Rewards account. Customer Service blamed a "glitch" and would not give me the points, but offered a small gift card instead. The small purchases are never an issue but a large one has a "glitch". read more

Mass confusion. I was here for a home building project that is small by contractor standards but huge for me. I had a trailer to pick up what I needed. First problem was the lack of prices on the items in the lumber area. Went for help three times then gave up and pulled off one of what I needed and carted to the front for a price. Then I planned to use my app to scan items so I could have them pulled. The app would not work, so we gave them the list to look it all up. Took about 25 min but we got the order in and were thinking we could wait while they bring it out. Nope. They said it would be ready before closing. Ok, so home we go. We get a notification it's ready, but then it is was not where anyone thinks it should be at the store. One of the service guys was visibly frustrated and he was the third service guy we worked with. The two guys that came out next to load us up were great though. Very nice and knowledgeable. We had to go back again due to an error when we were rang up. The woman that helped fix it was also great. read more

DO NOT BUY AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM LOWES- ITS A SCAM! I have had no dryer for 6 weeks. repair man came out twice, once with no parts and 2nd time he said they gave him the wrong parts. My dryer needs a motherboard and it's discontinued. now they say they located a refurb one and they would ship me the part and I was responsible to call and get a serviceman out. 6 weeks and still no part. I paid $260 for a warranty that is useless. Assurant warranty Is as good as their actions. Next time I need an appliance I'll go elsewhere. Right now I want my dryer I paid for!! read more

This store is hit or miss with employees, older ones are great 20 yer olds are snowflakes. Went in on a Thursday to by a toilet and vanity for remodel. Paid for it on cc and I'm an pro-member so shipping is free. First they can't get it to ship free, figure that out. Said they would deliver on Friday. I said great. I tell them from he mobil cart I need them to take them around the back and thru the slider. I'm handicap and can move it. Friday toilet arrives they put it on the front porch next to door. No call ahead or knock on door. Dropped it and ran and text me after the fact. It's raining and will eventually get wet. Call the store they know nothing about it. Ask about Vanity. said it will be delivered on Monday. Again explain the it needs to be pt around back thru slider. Monday nothing call Lowes, CS girl gets mad when I ask for manager as she is a snowflake. Puts me on hold. No one answers. Call back she put on hold with out answering then hangs up on me three times. Call pro desk and talk to Jason the manager who says he'll call me back. Explain to him that I'm disabled and need to have it brought around to the back slider. Says he'll call me back and hangs up on me, no good bye or go to hell. He never calls me back. Next morning Estes trucking a sub contractor of Lowes say they will drop it off. Never happens call Lowes and leave message for Jason. Told him its not my job to track down my delivery thru their contractor. No return call. Weds no vanity or return call. Thursday say it will be there on Friday. My bathroom contractor needed it Weds or Thur. Tell contractor as it had been snowing about the delivery delay, so he doesn't come. Estes sends me a email saying the vanity has been delivered. They put it in the middle of my driveway on a pallet in the snow. I call Lowes to complain as I have no way to bring it inside because I'm disabled!!! They agree to send out an employee to bring dolly and move it into the house the sliding door. What a fiasco!!! the employee was very nice and helpful and apologies. I ordered a dishwasher online for next day pick up. The item was in stock and available at the time of order. The next day Lowe's canceled the order without an updated text about the cancellation. I just happened to look at the order prior to picking it up and noticed it was canceled. They did say they can deliver next day for an extra $29.00, but somehow can't figure out how to get one in the store. This particular Lowe's has been an ongoing problem. I usually drive farther away to avoid it, but they claimed to have what I wanted. Finally, they delivered it a day later than promised and it is damaged. I had to stay home from work today to get it delivered as well. Don't shop at this Lowe's, or any Lowe's. read more

Lowes in Shelbyville, Ky has a the most rudest supervisor named Rhonda. I have no idea how she even got a supervisor position for not knowing the Lowes policy. She lied and was very rude so I had to call Lowes corporate on her. I hope they informed Rhonda that she was wrong. I will avoid this Lowes as long as she is there. read more

It's always great to visit this location. I always find what I need. Especially during the summer. Always pic up all the flowers and plants from this location. They have a large variety and a good selection. The plants always look like they have been taken care of. During the holiday season they have a wonderful large selection of decorations for your home. I always purchase replacement decorations every year. For Christmas and Halloween. Of course I do enjoy decorating my home for both awesome holidays. The only reason for having less than a perfect score. The installation department has their snafu. They don't stay in contact with you. They outsource the installation I believe. I had a storm door installed and it was a bad experience. They eventually took care of getting it installed. I've since sold the house I had the door installed. I may try them again on my new house should I want a storm door. But I haven't decided. read more

I will never do business with Lowe's again. We had them put up a privacy up. It had a year warranty on things but when I had an issue we contacted Jamie the manager and she won't return our calls, texts, nor emails. The sad thing is a manager from Corporate called us and for last month she has been trying to get this Jamie person to get back in touch with us and after almost 2 months she still hasn't contacted us. It has been a while since I written an update to my review. We stopped in today to look at dishwashers as ours is ready to replace. they have a pretty good sale going on now with the dishwashers reduced and the installation is 50% off. They have a good selection and the staff is very helpful in the department. We got all the information we needed and now we just have to check a few more places. The staff here continues to be very friendly and everyone that we passed said hello and asked if we needed help. That's why we'll keep coming back here. read more

I needed 8 nails 8inches long, they cost $.38 each and the box I found them in was marked nails galvanized 8". the useless girl at the self checkout had to send for help as she only found 6" nails on the APP. if an app must be used you've forgotten about customer service. less than impressed the full service checkout staff always knows how to look up prices. since you can't believe the customer. especially the honest ones. read more

This Lowe's location is a delight to shop. Whether you have a home repair project, craft project, need seasonal decorations, lumber, or gardening supplies this is the store to shop. The employees are helpful to even the most novice handyman or woman. If you don't know the correct name for what you are looking for just describe it or its use and they will steer you in the right direction. If you are being creative and searching the store for an item that will meet your needs but is not necessarily the intended purpose they will assist you in the search for alternatives.(I made net Xmas trees on dowels and searched the store for a base, the employee steered me to the sample squares of cork board flooring to hot glue the dowel to.) Now I find myself shopping the gardening center filled with tons of healthy plants for additional blueberry plants. I bought several last year and they did so well that I'm back for more to pot and grow on my deck. Hint: Use a Lowe's credit card and save 5% If you are purchasing a big ticket item use the Lowe's coupon found in the moving packet from the United States Post Office and get 10% off. In November we moved to KY from SC and first order of business was to order new flooring for the new house we just bought, thinking that the laying of the flooring can be done before our furniture will be delivered . That order was placed on December, 1st 2021. Lowe's guarantees ordered materials to arrive within seven days; correct? Correct! Well. Twice our material - that we had already payed for- got lost aka delivered to a different store aka to different customers. Than, when we were finally getting somewhere and flooring got installed and we were in the home stretch, the installation came to a screeching hold (that was last week of February) because come to find out that Lowes -according to the floor installation company- never even ordered the pieces that are necessary to complete the thresholds. Today is March 26th and we are still waiting for our floors to be completed. Now ... granted Lowe's gave us discounts for the fuck up's BUT after this last one where materials didn't even got ordered from their side (which my husband had to go to the store, make them look through our orders, only to discover they in fact had not ordered those parts); they had the nerve to say -and also expecting us to sign papers- that Lowes doesn't owe us any more discounts and that we cannot declare any other defects due to them. Which is a slap in the face for us as customers. For almost 25 years we bought what we needed from Lowes. And now this. WE the customers did our part by ordering and paying for those materials. WE the customers also payed a pretty penny for appliances from Lowes. Despite this flooring mess. WE as customers where also going to buy even more materials (kitchen countertops, new kitchen sink, kitchen backsplash, faucets, a induction oven, etc) from Lowes. Lowes as a company is the one that screwed this up and is at fault that this installation has taken 4 months! We now rather shop else where for the rest of our home improvement needs. read more

I love me a hardware store and being near a Lowe's has me tickled pink. Having recently moved into a fixer-upper in a new state/town, it's nice to have a large, reliable chain around for all things home improvement. Now, I live smack dab in between 2 Lowe's, and have been to a 3rd location nearby, and this one is, by far, my favorite. While I prefer the layout of the Frankfort store this one in Shelbyville has, by far, the nicest, most helpful staff. All of them seem cheerful, friendly, and eager to assist even outside of their department. Given a choice, the Shelbyville Lowe's is my go-to location! read more

As with most hardware stores, the helpfulness of the staff can be a little hit or miss, but in general I have had good results here. The store isn't so overwhelmingly large as to be inefficient for shorter trips, nor is it too small to accomplish most general tasks one might expect to accomplish in a hardware store. Horrible experience with the store so I ordered a dryer from this Lowe's and not only did the dryer Not come the day it was supposed to arrive the delivery people pretty much showed up were never and then while they were here they decided to bust a hole in the drywall of the house. So naturally I call the store and the store said that they would refund 20% of the purchase price back to my bank account. Waited patiently for two months and never received the money to repair my home. Finally I called the store to find out what happened and they told me that I would actually have to come into the store in order to get the money refunded but they initially had told me that my refund was on the way so now I'm having to go out of my way in order to go to the store to get the refund if they had initially already told me they were going to do!!!! read more

I purchased a lawn tractor from Lowe's, that they were supposed to deliver to my home. A date and time was set up for delivery of the tractor, so I cleared my schedule to be home for it. The morning of I called the store to verify delivery time. I wait from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm with no delivery, at 1:47 pm I called to to find out where my tractor was and was told that it may be delivered later that night or the next day. I asked to speak to a manager upon calling again at 2:14 pm, who was rude and very disrespectful. No one ever even offered an apology for their mix up. So just be warned that they don't follow delivery times, if you must take off work to meet them. read more
