To the woman named Helena you deserve better your work ethic and motivation is more than the manager deserves and I really hope corporate office find out about the poorly managed store. I admit -- I was pulled in by social media. So my mother-in-law and I made the short sojourn to Shelbyville to check this out. And what we found were indeed some great prices if you took it all in. For example, you can find knickknacks for $12-$20. Rugs for $50-$500. Furniture pieces for $150+. And mixed in are some definite higher-priced pieces. One of the associates told us that the owner works directly with furniture manufacturers, and many of the pieces are from high-end brands -- you just wouldn't know it because the branding has been stripped. And the quality seemed to bear this out. There are several pieces that I'd love to have in my home and that look like they would last for decades. I ended up buying some ceramic peaches for my mantle and some orange dried pampas grass for a floral arrangement. I would definitely go back if I had a certain furniture need in mind. In the meantime, it's definitely a fun place to browse. Plus it's easy to get to right off I-64. Oh, and one more thing: It's right next to Jeptha Creed Distillery and Talon Winery. Make an afternoon of shopping and imbibing!
