Just had a new refrigerator delivered and they had done it again! Amazing service, friendly delivery crew and it was quick and speedy. The Home Depot app makes it easy to order and reschedule if needed! My appliance delivered on time and they have a tracking feature that lets you see window time and how many are ahead of you. This allowed me to do what I needed to around the house without wasting time sitting with fear of missing them. They gave me a call to inform me they were 15 minutes out which was great! I will use Home Depot again for my appliance. They also have really good sales on appliances all the time! I save over $1k on this Samsung refrigerator and I love it! She so pretty and shiny. If i could rate this place lower I would. After the store sent a 600 lb woman to my house with the promise of delivery between 6 am and 8 pm we stayed home and lost another day of work to have the driver show up in ragged clothes, in a Chevy lumina 2 door, to tell us this is a ghost shipment, I didn't bring you anything. Then send a text saying he is returning the nothing to the store for a return trip because I didn't accept the nothing. The item in question is a 36×34×24 kitchen cabinets that i suppose was to fit in her backseat. First of all Karen and Liz at the customer service desk are ROCK STARS!! I returned to HD this am after having an issue with a purchase. I expected a long process to get the situation resolved. I was wrong! Karen and Liz greeted me as soon as I was near the desk. I asked for a manager. The ladies asked why and if they could help. No manager needed. Issue was solved beyond what I had envisioned. Like Kansas said, " lay your weary head to rest". Bossier City, there are many highly skilled people waiting to solve issues without causing an issue. HD has a huge selection of products for every product I have been faced with. Prices are very affordable also. Stop by and tell Karen & Liz hello. Fantastic customer service and genuine people. Today I had a few sheets of plywood to cut for use at my home, a regular thing I've had them do before... today, was the worst experience Ive ever had here and the manager even argued with me about past employees helping me with this request as per his words "Their trained not to cut that" but in my past ten plus visits this was never the issue. I'm sorry but your retired military guy in lumbar was just like ANY service member who wasn't happy with their retirement plan that y'all just poorly employed, whatever work you would ask an 18-24 year old to do wouldn't be an issue but these guys act like the works beneath them because they spent the last ten years just doing meetings and reports! If you offer curbside for your online order how about honor it!!! I waited 30mins after checking in for someone to come bring the items I ordered out. Never did so I had to go inside. I asked for curbside so I wouldn't spend more than I knew I would if I went inside. Lowe's can have my money from here on out. read more

I don't want to be I accosted by someone with a clip board wanting to "survey" me about filtered water every time I walk in to Home Depot to purchase plumbers putty or roofing nails. For my review of Home Depot, I'll just post my review of Lowe's. The reason for the 2-stars is because we liked the older, retired guy working in the garden center and Home Depot seems to have a better wood selection than Lowe's. I've specifically addressed my problems with a couple different employees at Home Depot (Scott in Paint for example) and was assured that the following events would not occur. But read on- Here- Absolutely, positively without a doubt do we loves Lowe's! They bend over backwards to please their customers. And like the Santa in Miracle on 34th Street, they will be honest if they think something can be had for much cheaper elsewhere. Mind you, that's only happened a couple of times because their prices are great. We flipped a house in San Antonio and spent about $16,000 in Lowe's. At our new home here in Bossier we seem to be opening up our wallets again- what can we say - we love home improvements. What keeps us going back to Lowe's and not Home Depot not only is their customer service and prices, but their military discount program. The advertise it (Home Depot hides it and you have to ask) and they honor it on EVERYTHING. Clearanced or on sale or full price. If you have wood floors installed all through your house or just a wall switch- they honor it. If you have a coupon, they honor the military discount on top. I felt it necessary to write this review because we cheated on Lowe's today, tempted by a Home Depot coupon. We spent about $500 there today. Did Home Depot honor the coupon? Yup. But we couldn't use a military discount. Would they even give us a military discount without the coupon??? No- because 10 bricks we were buying were on sale. Businesses don't need to give these discounts. Heck, we don't even expect them. But when you have two competing stores and you spend THOUSANDS of dollars on their products and one offers easy use of their discount, then of course I'm going to prefer one over the other. read more

We are in a pandemic, asked to stay away from each other, I needed wood to fix a structure on my property that I couldn't wait for delivery as the weather was coming again, so I online ordered for store pick up. With social distancing being so necessary when I saw that I had to go into customer service to pick up I was nervous but thought I'll go right in, grab my order and leave, but no! The door person refused to let me out by my car to drive down to the lumber door to pick up my order, she FORCED me to walk all the way through the store to retrieve my online prepaid order, I did this online to prevent in store shopping, but the employees made me stay in the store and then walk ALL THE WAY TO THE OTHER SIDE TO EXIT!! Their excuse was that HD corporate insisted they do that, what sense does it make to force people to expose each other when I could have easily gone right back out that door, driven to the lumber loading area and only been near maybe 2 people instead of 25!!! Then I had to push a very heavy cart with a lot of lumber all the way back across the parking lot and load it, I have gone out of my way to follow this quarantine order, but Home Depot is FORCING people to expose each other, they even had the garden center register and gates closed, so that every customer got counted, those that only need plants need not expose others by walking into a store!! These people running this show have no common sense nor do they care for the welfare of their employees or patrons! read more

My wife & I bought a dishwasher from the Home Depot in Bossier City, LA.. Home Depot delivered it but they said we had to call the plumbing company they use to set an appointment to have it installed. Ten days later the plumbers installed it, my wife was there but I was out of town. They did not turn the dishwasher on to see if it worked and my wife assumed a new, just out of the box, dishwasher from GE would work. I got home that night, turned it on, but it would not function. I tried everything, according to the manufacturer's instructions, to make it work but it wouldn't. My wife and I go back to the Home Depot in Bossier City, LA., where we purchased it, and after going through several personnel there, we received a refund. This took about 45 minutes! We were told that we would receive a call from their department that handles pick ups but we didn't receive a call. I called Home Depot back and was told again that someone would call us to arrange a pick up. We didn't. After two weeks I went back to their appliance department and a lady there set up the pick up, in her computer, while I was there and was told, again, that we would receive a call from them, to arrange a pick up. One week later we received a call to arrange this. They sent two guys to my home, on a Saturday morning, and they said they would be at my home within 30 minutes. Two and a half hours later they showed up. They came in, saw that my dishwasher was installed and told me that their company had "messed up" by not informing them that the dishwasher was installed because they were expecting it to be uninstalled and ready to pick up and that they were not authorized to uninstall it! What? I was livid to say the least! They told me I needed to call Home Depot back to send someone back out to disconnect it and pick it up! I called Home Depot Monday morning and had to leave a voicemail for a return call so I left a brief message about what my call concerned. Whenever I didn't receive a call back by Wednesday mid day I went back to the store and met with the lady that I had dealt with previously. I asked her why she had not returned my call from Monday and she told me that she had been off Monday and Tuesday. She was very apologetic and she made some calls to their pick up department and assured me that I would receive a call within two days to arrange a pick up. I did and arranged the pick up. It took 6 weeks from the time we first instigated a pick up request, for the same two guys, that had previously came out on Saturday, to arrive to pick up our dishwasher...finally! We will never buy another appliance from Home Depot nor will we EVER recommend anyone else do so either. This was a total "nightmare" dealing with this company! They are horrible and obviously do not really care about the customer! read more

I would give them zero stars if I could. When you spend thousands of dollars at a store you'd think the employees would be more polite and actually want to help you. I would not recommend getting your floor and installment with Home Depot...not even when they're running a "special deal" on it. It'll still cost you over $3,000, a lot of wasted time, and probably a couple of migraines. Tomorrow I will be taking my floor back and getting a refund...I'll probably use Lowe's or maybe a smaller business that might be more polite and can get the job done when they say they're going to. I could write all day about how rude/ignorant some people that work there are...I did however find Eric to be very intelligent and sweet. This is really not regarding this particular store but their credit card company. I have a no interest for 2 years purchase I am now trying to pay off. I went into the store to pay it to make sure it was applied to no interest portion. They took my payment and called the credit card people to tell them I wanted $1000.00 applied to promotional amt. They said was done. The next day I just called myself to make sure it was applied and was told it was not. I went back to store and again they talked with someone on the phone and let me talk to her and she said it was \ now applied and I could see it on my next statement. Just got said statement and it was not appled.. Called number on bill and the girl said it just took 2 statement to show up on statement thats just the way the system is..Made no sense so I asked for supv. Just got another agent but he said she was wrong it would have shown on my statement but was not applied to promotional amt..He said he would apply it and I could see it on my next statement as he couldnt send out another statement. I said since he was the fourth person there who told me it was applied I did not want to wait a month I wanted something in writing. He said it would take a couple of days to apply then he would send me an email. So we will see what happens. My advice if you want to use a credit card use Lowes. Thats what I plan to do. read more
