Ordered a potted plant online. Cancelled my original ordered item and delivered something different and charged me $15 for delivery. The store manager was no help and gave us the wrong number to the delivery company. I would not have ordered it delivery had it been in stock at the local store. Their website is still incorrect, and says 11 available for delivery and there isn't 1 avail in 100 mile radius. After years and $10k+ spent on appliances and remodels-its time to move on. I bought some items from Lowe's off of their Lowes.com website. There were seven items total and I chose to do in-store pickup at their Southaven, MS Store. Four of the items were ready the next day. The other four were delayed. This order was made on March 22, 2025. The items delayed were actually delivered to the store on March 31, 2025. I was not notified of any delivery until Tuesday April 29, 2025 when someone from the store named David called me and left a message that he wanted to verified I received the items at my home. I had received nothing so I called back the next day and someone in receiving looked up by order and noted the items had been delivered to the store as expected and she will contact the fulfillment department to get them to find the items in their inventory and told me that someone would call me back. Since I had not heard from anyone, yet my card was charged, I called back today. The phone rang for over five minutes before anyone answered it and when they did they just sat the phone on the counter. I heard not only the interactions with two customers in their customer service but I hear them laughing at one of the customers and talking about him to another customer after the man left. I hung up because no one was bothering to even speak with me. Called back and their computerized phone answering service again sent me to receiving like it did the day before when I asked for the fulfillment department. After waiting on hold there for a very short amount of time the lady in receiving transferred me elsewhere but the person who answered didn't give a name or a department, but it was customer service. I again asked for the fulfillment department and she said hold on and hung up on me. When I called back again and kept entering zeros until their computer would send me to customer service again the lady told me she put me on hold because Heather who I needed to speak with was pulling an order so she could put me on hold again or get my information and Heather would call me back. I remind that Heather or someone in fulfillment calling me back never happened before and it is why I was on the phone again. This lady was brusque and argumentative and I told her I didn't want to set on hold any longer and I didn't want someone to "call me back" again. I said if she couldn't get someone to help me I was just going to come up there and cancel my order. She asked if I was threatening her. And then asked if I was threatening the Store. All of that because I said I was going to cancel my order that they couldn't competently provide. She then put me on hold. As a resolve I found I could cancel the order on-line and I had the charge for the items they never provided removed from my card. I'm not sure if the customer service is this abysmal at other Lowe's stores but Southaven, MS store needs some help with learning how to deal with people. read more

Before heading to Lowe's we stopped by the Home Depot. The gentleman at the paint counter was not all there... I'd guess a drug issue. So we decided to head to Lowe's. And I'm glad we did. The gentleman at the Lowe's paint counter was knowledgeable, informative, and easy to work with. We explained what our goal was, and he helped us pick out the right paint to meet our desires. We were on a budget and he helped us stay within those confines. Again he was a great representative of Lowe's. He also educated us that a lighter color paint is significantly cheaper than a darker color paint. If you have some flexibility in your color choices, please keep that in mind. The representative at checkout was very friendly and greeted us with a smile. We were promptly checked out and on our way to complete our DIY task. Based on this experience, I will ensure that Lowes is my go-to home improvement store from this point further. read more

Purchased a Harbor Breeze 70" fan that was defective. Found out it was defective after paying a licensed electrician $250 and 4 hours of trying to problem solve. Returned the fan for a refund. The store stated Harbor breeze would work with me on refunding or solving the Electrician fee. Nope. Run around from Harbor breeze to Lowes and back and forth. Harbor breeze is a Lowes brand. The management stated since I did not use Lowes for install, they could not refund the money or help me out. I purchased a defective fan from your store and waste my money but you cannot help me out. I am considering cancelling my pro account. Right now with the economy, I cannot afford a 250 loss. I will have to research a mom and pop store because Lowes was my store and I despise Home depot. BTW, a man in the parking lot saw the fan in my cart and states He had to return his as well. Lowes really let me down. read more

Bought a refrigerator, the employees that loaded it on our truck stepped on the 3 pronged plug. So we called the Manager, what a waist of time!!! Told us he would call us back. No phone call EVER!!! Costed us an extra $60 to replace the damage. We mistakenly went again today 7/27 to purchase a stand alone A.C. unit... not Lowe's fault, but it was missing parts, so now we have to go back to this horrible store, with horrible customer service to return it. Whenever I'm traveling I like to stop in and see what they have and if there's anything i need, such as tools or just something to fix up the house. They have sales too. I know where ever I live whether it's in Tennessee or Mississippi or Alabama, I always get advertisements in the mail or in the local newspapers. You can also find clearance items where you can save even more money. Customer Service: I can always find somebody to help me at Lowes. Bought our refrigerator through them. It stopped working after a month. We bought the warranty and called the manager to get a replacement since no one would come out to fix it. Manager was very rude over the phone and offered no help in getting our fridge fixed. Basically "call back in a year". I would not recommend ordering anything through them. My husband and I went into Lowe's to purchase a microwave oven. The individual in the appliance department had an attitude. They did not have the microwave in stock so we were told to order online. I went out to my car to order it online and discovered there was a $79 delivery fee and no option to pick it up in the store. I went back into the store and asked the Customer service person if we could purchase the floor model. The manager said the floor model microwaves were non operational. We went to Home Depot and purchased the Microwave oven they ordered the Microwave and their charge for delivery is $29. The manager waived the delivery fee without being asked. They were also willing to sell the Microwaves on display. Apparently all their display models of the same brand as Lowe's are all operational models. FYI the sales person in Home Depot was so accommodating and helpful. She called the manager on her own violation to verify price matching of the microwave and then the manager offered to wave the delivery fee. Home Depot went out of there way to give us great customer service. It is noteworthy that there is a $50 dollar difference in delivery fees because these 2 home improvement stores. I have noticed since the change in CEO's at Lowe's the customer service has declined significantly. The new CEO has taken away most of the benefits they use to offer to the military. It is very sad they no longer offer many of the discounts to the military. As a retired military family serving our country for 33 years it is disappointing that this CEO doesn't support our retired military members. read more

Don't order carpet from Lowe's. If nothing goes wrong everything is great. However, if something does go wrong they put no urgency in getting the problem resolved. We ordered about 1600 SQ/ft of carpet. Installer quit during the middle of the job due to a defective batch of carpet. Lowe's said it wasn't their problem. The installers said it wasn't their problem. The carpet manufacturer said it wasn't their problem. Meanwhile, some defective carpet got put down, some was left laying on the floor but not tucked into baseboards, some left hanging over the edge of the stairs as a tripping hazard and some rooms not touched. We thought it would be resolved quickly, but after 66 days of living in rooms still tore apart awaiting new carpet the job was finally finished. I could go into more detail, but just don't put your family through their lack of customer service. They say that "Lowe's Cares", but don't believe it. They only care to make the sale. This location is the worst. I ordered a Samsung refrigerator November 16, 2021. The first delivery was scheduled for Dec 4, 2021 of course no delivery was made no one contacted me to notify me. I called Lowes to be told oh your delivery was canceled your new delivery is December 8, 2022 again no delivery finally the store called your new delivery is now Jan 15,2022. As of today no delivery no one has called yet. Disappointing experience here yesterday...unfortunate bcuz this had become my " go to" place since i moved here ...here is my story...was on a quest for a small deck size grill on the 4th...where else would i go first but Lowes??? found one.... bought the grill utinsels, propane, etc...along with a rather large, new live plat...to replace the one i chronically keep killing....lol Enter check out...not self serve but rather one with a live Lowes representative...she could have cared less about me OR my business...scolded me when i took a few plastic bags to wrap the pot of my plant to protect clothes....i was dressed up...and my car floor, literally took the bags back!... this has "never" been an issue here...and i assure you over the past months...i have made plant purchases a lot....I returned the grill today, unopened...the entire experience just rubbed me the wrong way...well the kicker is today while standing in the return line...i notice a cryptic charge for $9.98... i went through the items i purchased yesterday...all were accounted for xcept this one....i inquired yo find it is a warranty you can opt to purchase...i never opted for it, was asked about it...zero...it just "appears" when the checker ads it to your cart....Hmmmmm something wrong about that...which means she charged me unknowingly for it....wonder how many people THAT happened to yesterday...or any day for that matter??? CHECK YOUR TICKET/RECEIPTS FOLKS...and if i could find this persons name on the receipt, i would tell you....avoid at all costs...returned everything and will buy my new grill somewhere else this weekend, sad but true! read more

Lack of a sense of urgency. Returns line is absurd and people moving at a snails pace. Also it is incredibly rude to be standing in front of the representative and they answer calls. Also after standing in line forever i am told items cant be returned after 30 days. Nothing on the receipt indicates this. The representative became indignant when i asked to read the policy because the receipt said a copy of the policy would be available at the desk. She refused and said something about corporate and said she didnt have one its only on the computer. I will go to another store, not present my receipt, and get store credit. Sad. read more

I would give them a negative one if I could. We had a good in store experience (previous review: Sheletta and David were SO patient, so helpful and so kind when we couldn't make a decision. David was very knowledgeable. They had our selection in stock and offer free delivery and installation within Desoto county.) Both of the salesman mentioned told us they would deliver to us on 7/7, which is today. I specially remember because standing right there we repeated the 7/7 and noted it was easy to remember and arranged for me to be the one at the house. We tried to call the store last night when we didn't receive a confirmation email, and no one was there that could do anything with delivery. We called two more times this morning and couldn't get help at the local store so we called the 800 number who told us it was scheduled for TOMORROW and there was nothing we can do. In store service means nothing if you don't receive the product. Receipt says Ryan Wright is the store manager, but evidently isn't managing well and doesn't care about customer satisfaction. When we finally got help the lady was rude and straight to the point. Bad customer service. After paying for it on Tuesday and told it would be here by Sunday morning. It never came and I never received a call saying they wasn't coming. I took off from work . I called them took them 30 plus minutes to answer the phone and when they did the lady put me on hold for another 30 minutes then came back and hung up on me. Their 3rd party vendor is absolutely non professional and the worse experience I've ever received. I paid for countertops after I told them not to install and they were not anything as pictured. This location has the worst service I have ever experience in a long time. I purchased a security door from Lowes off of Germantown Pkwy, about 28 miles from this location. .. After opening the box, and hanging the door, I discovered the hardware was missing. I also let David knew it was already hung. I decided to go to Lowes on Goodman Road, what a mistake. Not only did the supervisor David, tell me I would need to return the door back to the Lowes I purchased it from, or call a 1-800 number to get the hardware because they are in another region and couldn't help me.The young lady that waited on me earlier stated they were out of the door. Can I get a zero please!!!! One one person so far answers the phone after calling 20 times, They either answer and set it on the counter and laugh!!!! Or they don't answer at all. We ordered 2,800 dollars worth of appliances. And after waiting a month after thier sale we got our freezer, we got it home opened it up and it had been dropped on its top. After an hour of both my husband and I calling from different phones someone answers. She says she's going to get the manager. And he answers and hangs up. We are done with Lowes I recorded it and I am calling corporate. over a month of this unprofessional behavior we are done. Half the time we had to drive to the store for answers about are orders, with covid its not safe to be going out 3 times a week 45 min drive to get answers when they can just pick up the phone. HOME DEPOT TAKE OUR BUISSNESS. As for the bathrooms they are filthy and unkept as well. And over all experience in the store is poor.with rude unhelpful employees. Also waited in the sweltering heat in customer service line that went outside the door with masks on. and only one person helping people. Ordered windows for my house in early December. Estimated completion, per the contract, was 2 months. The salesman calls me 2 months later to inform me that he was ORDERING the windows from the manufacturer. Also, he informs me that the contractor would not be available until April. I told him that was not going to work per our deadline. Enter new contractor. Windows will arrive in March and he said he'd get started then. Windows never arrived, no one called and I haven't heard from the contractor. They finally call me tell say that the arrival of my windows was bumped to April 2nd. That date comes......no windows, no call from lowes......no contractor. I called, again, to find out what was going on. Bumped again until April 16th....Horrible experience! read more

The only thing that was good about my experience was the price of my refrigerator which deems the two stars. However my customer service experience leaves much to be desired. No one asked to assist me and when I went asked for assistance I had to wait over 30m before being assisted. If it was not for the price I would have left. On top of that they could not give me an estimated delivery time. The day prior to my delivery, a sales associate could only tell me it would be in the "morning" the next day. Well it is now 11:00am, I still haven't heard from the driver and can't get a live person on the phone at the store. This is ridiculous, they need to do better!! And I opened a card to save 10% on my refrigerator but after this experience I never want to return there. It shouldn't be this frustrating to buy new appliances. This location is ALWAYS understaffed. No matter which department you are trying to shop in it is near impossible to get any help. Every time I've ever gone to the garden center there is a line all the way to the back of the store. The employees are very nice but the store has got to hire more employees to help make the store function properly. No one should have to stand in line waiting for over 30 minutes. Just today I waited in line at the garden center for over 30 minutes and then the woman at the register told everyone that she was waiting on a manager to come override a transaction. It would of been nice to have that announcement 5 minutes into the manager not showing up to help. Not 30 minutes later. read more

We went through self check out, scanned all my items and went to check out. Some on a gift card and the rest on my Lowe's card with the app. The Lowe's card wasn't scanning so we asked to cancel it because we didn't have the physical card on us. A woman said since a gift card was used one of the employees would need to call the tech line to get the money returned back onto the gift card or if we just canceled without calling we would not get our money back. She said she would get someone over to call for us Because she was about to clock out. We waited over an HOUR at self checkout for someone to come and help. No one ended up coming. We had to call my husbands brother to drive from Hernando to bring our card because we were tired of waiting. Multiple employees saw how long we were waiting for help and not one stoped to ask us why or if they could help But several people around us needed overrides and they were helped in seconds. read more
