This is a great local home improvement, store, hardware store, appliance store, lumberyard, etc. It's a do it yourself oasis. They always keep a base supply of gardening supplies, but especially in the spring time. They have a huge selection of plants and gardening supplies and landscaping materials. The service is friendly and quick and the prices are reasonable. It's very conveniently located next to the interstate and on the main affair in the area. read more

Bought two rose bushes, spent over $50 and neither match the labels! Supposed to be yellow and pink but I have red and white. Called the customer service number and they said oh sorry.. well now I have two roses that aren't what I purchased. It took months for them to bloom before we knew that the labels are wrong at that store. read more

I currently work at Lowe's and at first I can say that I enjoyed working here because of the epic employees. But after a year working at Lowe's as a cashier going back and forth between customer service desk and sales floor then hearing all the nice employees left due to bad pay and irregular hours I decided to look else where for a job where I feel at home and cared about. What hurts me the most is I've worked with them for longer than a year starting pay 12.00 an hour only to move to sales floor getting paid .54 cents more when they pay new employees that started 3 days ago 13.00 starting pay. If anything they're manipulative and gossip behind your back. But on special occasions they would buy food for the break room for the employees. read more

My mother had a terrible experience here yesterday. She was in the store around noon on 11/26/17. She is very recently widowed so she was hoping to get some assistance since this was her first time here alone without her husband. She came with a detailed list of what she needed. Unfortunately, none of the employees helped her out. She repeatedly asked for help and was just shuffled around with excuses like "this isn't my department" "I'll find someone else to help", and sadly "I'm not clocked in yet but when I do get clocked in I have other stuff to do." Just one young lady tried her best to help. She didn't catch her name but she was mixing the paint in the paint section . By the time my mother found her, she literally broke down crying while explaining why she was so upset with the lack of helpfulness from the other employees. I am so disappointed that my mother could not get the help she needed when plenty of employees could have stepped up! Do better! read more

I went in to do it over the phone order I'm buying merchandise over the phone to my company everyday and every Lowe's except the one in Van Buren of Crawford County this girl was so rude told me I had to make a phone call cuz she don't have authorization no but she put my foot because Summer and the owner are the ones that have to do the call to keep it secure I asked for a manager she told me there was only one and they were busy I almost had to argue with her to get the manager to the desk I finally gave up and never seen a manager so if you have a choice do not ever go to the Lowe's in Van Buren. read more

I love going to Lowe's; could spend a day in the store just walking around, browsing. This Van Buren location is almost always helpful & knowledgeable. My only complaint is the rudeness & lack of store knowledge of personnel, when calling the store. Get it together Lowe's! read more

I took my 84 year old mother to this store a few days ago. She needed some supplies for her garden. In the garden department we met an employee named Brent Meyers. Mr. Meyers made my mom's shopping a great experience for her! He helped her get the things she needed and treated her so well it made me smile!
