I wish I had read the negative reviews thoroughly before ever setting foot in this office. Please don't fall for the high ratings here, if you look closely at the positive reviews, almost all of them come from accounts that have only posted 1 review total, which is a huge red flag for fake accounts. My real experience here was a nightmare. On July 23, 2026, Dr. Bursich double-booked my appointment and left me completely in the hands of his assistant, Karla, who removed and replaced my implant healing caps and took impressions without direct dentist supervision. The procedure was excruciatingly painful, caused heavy bleeding, and left me in agony. By July 27, the throbbing pain and swelling were so severe that I had to rush to an emergency periodontist. The specialist found that an unseated healing cap had been left actively pinching my gum tissue alongside a soft-tissue ulceration from the impression mold, requiring him to remove the hardware, treat the tissue, and reseat everything properly. To make matters worse, when my permanent crowns were placed in August, they were so improperly fitted that food gets trapped underneath every time I eat, causing constant inflammation. When I asked for my lab records, they handed me a slip with the RX Data left completely blank. When I brought the specialist's medical report and my terrible pain to the office, manager Sarah was incredibly cold, arrogant, RUDE, and dismissive, claiming everything went "smoothly" and refusing to fix or remake the defective crowns. Dr. Bursich, Karla, and Sarah showed zero empathy or accountability for the damage done to my mouth. They never even offered an apology. Please save yourself the pain, trauma, and money, stay far away from this practice!!! Trust the negative reviews!!!

Despite good dental health, I was fearful and hesitant find another dentist after transitioning to a new insurance plan and new work location (from Washington DC to Northern Virginia). I had been at my previous dentist for nearly 12 years. It turns out, change is good! I've found that those areas that were frequently listed as "watch and monitor" did in fact require action by way of filling. Listen, bad news doesn't get better with time when it comes to a weak spot in your tooth enamel. I found the staff to be very professional and incredibly personable! I saw Dr. Jenny Cheung. Dr. Cheung took the time to listen to my concerns (some aesthetic and some functional) and provided great advice and recommendations. I feel my smile is improved and I have a renewed interest in wearing my night guard each night (she found the right words to motivate me to form a new habit.) I loved how she used distraction techniques to minimize my thought of having a Novocain needle "pinch" or sting before getting a filling. The whole experience (from parking to payment was first rate.) The highlights: - Dr. Cheung has been on-time for both appointments (I was in the dental chair within 5 minutes of my appointment time). - The waiting area has current magazines to read (nobody likes to read magazines from 2013!) - The bathroom has toothbrushes and toothpaste for a quick freshen (for those post work/school appointments). - The front desk staff let me know an estimate of "patient responsibility" based on my insurance prior to making my follow-on appointment. This is huge to me as if I know I have a $2200 responsibility, I may choose to schedule a month or two out to avoid putting dental work on a credit card if at all possible. My situation wasn't bad at all, but I could certainly see where having the information up front could help a person plan for the necessary work. - Appointments can be made on ZocDoc (often times I work in cubicle land which doesn't allow for privacy at work, so having the ability to quietly schedule online is a bonus). - Free parking (my previous dentist was nearly $21 to park each time) I look forward to having a new 12 year relationship with a dentist! See you in 6 months!

I was sitting in my 10am lecture when I got 4 calls in a row from them. You'd think someone was dying but no, just an appointment reminder, something that could've been sent in a text or email. Then, during said appointment, the white dental hygienist girl decided it was a good idea to puncture & scrape all of my gums. Simultaneously, she continued to fill up my mouth with water while I choked. I had faith in the so called professional working inside my mouth while she continued to do this on my bottom/top set of the front teeth and the back of my bottom set of teeth but once this behavior continued for the back of my top set of teeth- the pain was unbearable. When I asked her to stop her service, she said "open your mouth" I then covered my mouth and said "But I asked you a question? Is it possible to stop this appointment?" she continued to tell me "I need to finish my cleaning open your mouth". She did not once question as to why I would want to stop because obviously she knows she's hurting another persons teeth on purpose. When I again refused and said I had never felt this pain during an appointment before she laughed in my face then got up and left without a word. 0 explanation, 0 apology, because this staff enjoys to hurt others for their own entertainment. Never have I ever been in so much pain from a routine dentist appointment. This is not the first time they've taken pride in being wrong either, only this time they didn't have a superior present to clean up after their disgusting attitudes. Avoid this place if you don't want your teeth to be sore after a regular cleaning.

I first went to Dr. Zacko after moving to the area and needing a routine clean. That appointment went well, and at check-out I scheduled another appointment to have a mouth-guard molded. The tech applying the mold turned her back while it was setting and got distracted, resulting it the mold firming up and becoming stuck in my mouth. I eventually had to pry it out myself, resulting in bleeding gums. While the Dentist may be a well-accomplished man, his hiring standards resulted in a panic-inducing day.

His orthodontist recommended Dr. Ninh and team and they were only 1 of 2 dentists working on Saturday. The other was amazing and but I knew she stopped working emergency denistry on Saturdays. Dr. Ninh's care team squeezed us in so we could get on the road for vacation later that day. They called the day after to check on my son and a few months later M called me just to see how everything was going and in a brief chat, I became a new patient as well. Several years ago I had cancer and rather complicated issues with my health and teeth related to that - now in remission, many doctors didn't want to work with me. Dr. Ninh and his staff worked with me to line up what could be done and what would take more in-depth work or clearances. My (former) primary dentist would not even do a cleaning.
