Believe the reviews when they say that this place is an absolute money grab. They tricked me into doing 8 fillings, through x-rays. My previous dentist never mentioned anything like this. I should of gotten another opinion, but I was naive and trusted her since I've only had nice, kind, good quality dentists. Literally after I did it, I have only experienced pain. Hot/cold food, acidic food, sweet food, and pretty much eating in general hurts. I tried to come back to do a bite adjustment, but literally every time, she basically blamed me and said that it's my fault that I can't tell her the exact location of where it hurts. Ummmm, let me brush off my imaginary dental degree. I've also done basic cleanings here from two different hygienists and let me tell you...the most painful cleanings I've ever had in my life. The last straw was when I tried to schedule a "final" bite adjustment (these are never-ending because I've realized she literally doesn't know how to fix the problem) and they called me to come early because the dentist was finished earlier than expected. I agreed because I was excited to have it done sooner since it was late in the evening and I had a tight appointment after, so I arrived to the office quickly. I ended up waiting in waiting room for 20 minutes....basically close to my original appointment time. I was only seen, when I mentioned it to the front desk receptionist. Literally another 20 minutes later, the doctor was finally available...to see another patient. I just left. And now I'm excited to find a new dentist.

His orthodontist recommended Dr. Ninh and team and they were only 1 of 2 dentists working on Saturday. The other was amazing and but I knew she stopped working emergency denistry on Saturdays. Dr. Ninh's care team squeezed us in so we could get on the road for vacation later that day. They called the day after to check on my son and a few months later M called me just to see how everything was going and in a brief chat, I became a new patient as well. Several years ago I had cancer and rather complicated issues with my health and teeth related to that - now in remission, many doctors didn't want to work with me. Dr. Ninh and his staff worked with me to line up what could be done and what would take more in-depth work or clearances. My (former) primary dentist would not even do a cleaning. The cleaning here was excellent and the hygienist is awesome! H and M in the front office are absolutely amazing. A, his dental surgical assistant is amazing, kind, and has a world of experience with patients and love of dentistry. They work to ensure I am comfortable, numb me thoroughly, worked to save my tooth, and restored function to my bite. Dr. Ninh is very knowledgeable and focuses to ensure a positive outcome that I am happy with. The next day H or M usually call to ensure everything is doing well and ask if I need to pass a message to Dr. Ninh and have him call. They make you feel welcome, ensure that you are comfortable, and work to make a positive experience out of the treatment process.

I needed a tooth pulled however the dentist kept trying to sell me on implants. I came back because I couldn't find another Medicaid provider. My tooth is cracked and throbbing. I had to arrange transportation to get here. When I got to my appointment, they asked me to pull my first negative review. I said I wouldn't. Then the office manager said they wouldn't see me until I got the issues with Medicaid taken care of first. Of course the owner of the practice is on vacation spending all the money. On the day of? They wasted my time and wouldn't see a medical emergency. The issue is over $134 that they charged me for consultation, no cleaning no extraction. I extracted my own tooth with pliers in the restroom at Home Depot. Medicaid would not pay it because they assumed I still had Cigna Dental but I lost it after the divorce. I took care of the issue with Medicaid and texted it to them. See attached photos. But obviously Dr. Gloria didn't resubmit the claim. I did everything they asked me to do. The tooth that didn't get pulled started throbbing unbearably so I went to Urgent Care last week. Because this was an emergency, I decided to go back to Dr. Gloria to have the tooth extracted. This morning I arrive at my scheduled appointment only to be told to pull my negative review. After I said no, they told me that they couldn't treat me for nonpayment. Keep in mind this was a medical emergency. *Added next day* I googled dentist that take Medicaid and found Herndon Dental Arts. They saw me the same day. The office is much bigger, cleaner, longer hours, much more professional front desk staff and the hygienists and doctors were awesome friendly and didn't try to upsell me. They extracted two bad teeth and took x-rays for dentures. I was there until 8 pm on a Friday. Much much better overall experience than Dr. Gloria's "glory hole" dental practice.

I've had nothing but wonderful experiences with this clinic. I've had X-rays, dental exams/cleanings, tooth repair and teeth whitening. All of which were fantastic. I actually drive 1 hour to go here since moving. The hygienist who I usually go to makes the cleaning process painless and even pleasant. Something I never thought I'd say. The reception staff is incredibly kind and helpful. I also had really great results on my teeth whitening ! They often run specials for it and was excited to get a good deal and many shades of lightening! (Due to mine being comprised of surface level stains) One of the dentist's exams the dentist noticed my lymph nodes under my neck were swollen and recommended me to see a doctor regarding the matter. They do online appointments which is great, so I gave them a try. My first appointment was great. The staff is friendly and will make you feel comfortable. The other thing I liked is that they will breakdown and explain the services and make sure that you understand the costs. No pressure when you decline some services. The prophylaxis was quick, easy and actually pain-free. I dread going to the dentist but they changed my outlook. I was satisfied, enough to book my future appointments with them. I highly recommend this clinic to everyone, especially if you dread going to the dentist for regular checkups and cleaning.

Being that I only come for cleanings I decided to keep my appointment and come for my cleaning. Let me share some background of my oral health. I was an Invisalign patient of Dr. Rafatt which made my oral hygiene A+. I had 1 small cavity filled about 4 years ago and when I got that cavity I was not brushing my teeth at night time (guilty). After that, I made sure to brush twice a day and with Invisalign I became a crazy flosser. Since my x-rays are done once a year, I did have anxiety about cavities BECAUSE I had an implant put in for a missing molar and my fabulous prosthodontist warned me about cavities forming in-between the fake tooth and real ones because people don't floss well. I made sure to floss with string, floss with water, and brush with my Phillips sonic care toothbrush twice a day to ensure I keep my teeth as healthy as possible. All of this to say I was SHOCKED when this new woman dentist told me I have 2 cavities. I wish I would have listened to my gut and ran out as soon as I sat in the chair to get them filled. PLEASE LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE, I BEG YOU. I should have known better and I should have WAITED. I am the kind of person that wants to get medical procedures over with so they are not looming over me. When I was walking out of my cleaning with the disbelief that I had 2 cavities in bottom right side molars, I was scheduling my appointment thinking it would be in a couple weeks and they had a following AM available. I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO MY GUT AND SCHEDULED FOR LATER. I came in the following day and sat in the chair, I asked the dentist photograph the cavities because it's really hard for me to believe I have them. I DIDN'T SEE ANYTHING. As soon as she put a bite block in my mouth I got wicked anxiety and wanted to leave so bad but I thought it was just the block, so I had it taken out and she went ahead with the procedure. Finally, when the dentist was done with me, I was trying on my retainers, she walked out of the room and when I was asking about the photos, the assistants couldn't explain it to me so they went to get her and SHE HAD LEFT. The office offered to schedule me to come speak to the dentist. The more I think about it, the more I feel this is fishy. My trusted dentist sold his practice, a new dentist comes in and first day she meets me all of the sudden I have CAVITIES?! you've got to be kidding me. GET A SECOND OPINION. I DID get a second opinion. I sent my x-rays to my prosthodontist PRAYING that he agreed that I had cavities where they were filled so that I would feel better for getting them. I did not tell him that I had them filled, I just gave him the teeth numbers that this dentist said I had cavities and asked him to look and give me his opinion. His opinion, to my detriment, is that he does not see any cavities ON JUST XRAY REVIEW. Granted, he did not have the ability to do a clinical in person review. I am absolutely heart broken about this, it feels like I was violated in a way I have never experienced before. Now, I have to live with these fillings in my mouth that in my hearts of hearts I believe I did not need.
