It's way more "manageable" than bigger H-E-Bs, & while they might not have the obscure organics or artisanal offerings of a Central Market or other H-E-B's, this store is a hidden gem. The shelves are always stocked, the aisles are always clear, & the associates are always happy & quick to help. I pretty much know where everything is, but the few times I've wandered aimlessly looking for something, fellow shoppers -- mostly older & wiser -- have helped me find whatever it is I'm hunting down. I've always preferred small grocery stores to large ones, & I really have a soft spot for this one. Maybe because I grew up in the area, or maybe I just like how leisurely a shopping trip here is; I enjoy my time spent here, & I think it's a nice change of pace from the Walmarts & Targets of the world. A pro-tip: the H-E-B app is a great help for a store as condensed as this one (& any H-E-B in general). It tells you aisle by aisle if they have something you want in stock, so you can save time, gas, & energy if you need something in a pinch.

One of them is prescribed by one doctor for one issue, and the other by another doctor for a seperate issue. Both doctors are aware of the others prescription. Recently, HEB would not fill one of them because they called the wrong doctors office and were told that they didn't prescribe it. The prescription bottle has the name an number of the prescribing doctor on it. Is it that hard to read? So I start making phone calls and am trying to get it sorted out AGAIN. I get that there may be interactions between medications, but when you look at my history you can see that I have been on the 2 meds for wuite some time, yet here I am sorting out the confusion of the pharmacy.

After more than 10 minutes, someone finally came out only to say they were closed and I'd have to come back in the morning. No apology, no attempt to fix the situation, and the manager Jonathan handled it with zero urgency or professionalism. If your team wants to close early, stop accepting pickup orders you clearly don't plan on fulfilling.

The bakers are always so nice and patient on the phone with all my wants. They can have it ready as early as the next day. The sweets always come out better than expected. Took my car to Walmart service dept in Seguin Tx to get an oil change, new wiper blades and…read morepossibly buy new tires. Car was there for 3 hours only to find out they didnt do anything. They canceled everything because supposedly there was no threads on the drain plug. Took it to Take 5 in New Braunfels Oil quickly changed. Tires still going down so I now feel that they just added air and didn't actually check the tires for leaks. Be wary if they tell you something is wrong with your vehicle. Very unprofessional and will never take my car back there. Disgusted and disgruntled. Update: after I got the oil changed I went to discount tire down the road. They found (and i saw it with my own two eyes) a bubble on the front tire. So the employees did not check the tires like they said. Both front tires needed to be replaced. Do better Walmart!! And for the record this happened on 5/25/26.

Corey in the meat market is kind , friendly and approachable. All in all I strongly feel that HEB corporate allows bad service towards its customers. It's a most degrading feeling to be treated so rudely. Corporate does not answer complaints as they refer the customer back to the store employees. MS Butt would most likely be very disappointed to see how customers are treated nowadays. Service was always great in the last 50 years. Now, degrading!!! I came in here to get stocked up for a camping trip, and found all the goods I needed! I was surprised to see the size of their beer selection here. There wasn't much to it. They had the national brands and a very small selection of local beers. Shiner is a local beer here! The clerk seemed befuddled by the bar codes and it took an incredibly long time to get checked out. A manager was called over to help press the buttons repeatedly to get an item to ring up. It made me regret getting the meat from the butcher if it was going to take so long to get properly rang up. I did manage to get everything that I needed. They even have a small clearance section in the rear corner of the store. I found some pretty great stuff in there. Parking was easy.
