The day before he let me know the approximate time of his arrival, and he was on time. This is so important, because it is frustrating to be staying home for an appointment, and then people don't show up. He arrived when he said he would. I needed a peach tree removed, landlord requested the whole tree be removed because it was damaging the fence and possibly the neighbors roof. Lighting fast work! Received a quick response on Yelp for a quote. After sending pictures of the tree/overgrown gnarly weed we agreed on a price, and scheduled to do the job one week later. However, two days later he said he could come by and do the job. Even though I was at work and couldn't go pay him immediately he allowed me to pay him the next day when it was convenient. Talk about service! This thing I've been putting off for years was done in a couple hours, everything left clean. So pleased. Very nice guy. Not sure if the price was reasonable since I didn't shop around like I normally do, but it sounded very fair to me and I jumped on the quote given. When I hired LS I specifically asked for experience with fruit trees. Once the pruning and trimming was done I was surprised how long most of the limbs were left on our 2 apricot trees. I was assured this is how fruit trees in orchards are trimmed. All that was back in November and the fruit has come in and branches are starting to break. I contacted LS and asked for help and was told that heavy fruit breaking the branches was not their fault. This is very disappointing to me. There was not even an offer to come out and look at the trees. Let alone any discussion about fixing the problem. Couldn't be more disappointed! I won't use this company again. read more

Luis and his team of professional landscapers did an outstanding job cutting down our aging backyard Zelkova tree. The tree was showing signs of stress compression's in critical areas so it became a major safety concern. The L&S team quickly came up with a plan of attack and safely removed the tree away from power lines and completely removed it without safety incident or damage to property. Most tree trimmers stated it was a 2-3 day job and Luis and his team completed in 2 visits including grinding another stump for free. His price was a little lower than the other estimates and he was able to complete it in a timely manner, where as other trimmers couldn't get to it for 3-4 weeks and some even stated it was too big of job for them.
