From navigating the permit process (including the road closure permit) to securing the crane (yes CRANE) needed to get the job done, Hudson's team were the absolute best. And in spite of the size of the job they never made me feel like it wasn't something they couldn't handle. Our initial contact with Hudson was very informative. He is very knowledgeable of his trade. He came up with a plan to hopefully save our Willow. His crew came out for the trim decided upon. Each of the crew was very professional and courteous. They ended up not having to remove as much of the tree. A good thing for us, we really wanted to save as much as possible. A beautiful avocado tree bore fruit finally after 5 years. Due to rain, wind, and weight it broke in two at the main trunk. Hoping a tree service would aid in keeping it alive I called Bridgewood Tree Care. The service person cut the jagged top off horizontally (approx.6 inches) and disposed of it in my landscape waste container (30 seconds). That was the full extent of the service provided. I was billed $60.00 for labor, $3.75 fuel surcharge, and $4.95 "disposal" fee! Any business may charge what they wish but I'd be a fool to call them again or recommend them to friends, family, or neighbors. No Stars!!! read more
