I paid almost $1,600 for Dermamelan treatment on my back, chest, and stomach. I had no allergic reaction during the in‑clinic portion and confirmed my at‑home instructions carefully. A week later, my skin became painful, raw, and the top layer was visibly peeling. I sent photos to the clinic and was told this was "normal" and to continue my post care. It wasn't. My skin barrier was broken, and following their advice meant applying an acid product to open wounds. Within two days, I developed severe chemical burns across my back, chest, and neck. My skin is now scarred and significantly worse than before I ever contacted Bellair. It didn't end there. My in‑person assessment with Dr. Pugen was switched to virtual while I was already on my way, making it useless. As I cried through the appointment, he suggested laser treatment even though both my dermatologist and Bellair's own coordinator said it would be high‑risk for my skin type. Two follow‑up calls were scheduled; nobody called me either time and I had to call the clinic to make the appointments happen. The clinic also took very personal "before" photos of my bare chest and back, then later claimed they COULDN'T FIND THEM and they were never uploaded due to "wifi issues." They use iPads with internal storage, so this makes no sense. The violation of patient privacy is truly baffling. When I requested a refund from the director, Oscar Amar, he dragged it out for 19 days, insisted they "did nothing wrong," and eventually offered a partial refund of no specified amount. After everything, it was like a slap in the face. What happened to me here was NOT OKAY. Period. It was dangerous, negligent, and deeply unethical. Proceed with extreme caution. Went in with super chapped hands and untrimmed nails from a whole month of traveling and neglect; came out with soft hands, neat trims, and shiny happy new nail colors. The nail trimming / cuticle shaping / hand care / etc are done with so much attention to detail and her polish application skills are top-notch :) I'm a perfectionist and you can imagine how happy I get when my nail colors always come out smooth and pretty. Thank you!!! EDIT: The pink shellac manicure stayed flawless for 3 weeks before I had to remove them out of necessity for work. FLAWLESS.

When you enter, one of the first things they do is promote their membership pricing and ask if you're interested. I had a bad feeling about the place when I got there because the decor was just a shell. The nurse was kind when I met her for my Botox injections though. A guy (the manager?) who was trying to hardcore promote the membership to me, was standing by the doorway of my treatment room and wreaked of cigarettes. The nurse did the injections. One thing I thought was interesting was that she injected really high up on my forehead but I didn't think much about it. When I went to pay, I was again told about the membership and how it's actually cheaper to pay for a seasonal membership and today's service together than just the service alone (I was thinking, "I only need Botox once a season anyway, that promo is silly). So I did that instead of paying for an annual membership because like I told them a few times, "I just want to try it out today." Yes, I paid less than my usual Botox place. But I'm pretty sure they watered the Dysport down because I'm seeing wrinkles already a month in. If something seems too good to be true, it's my lesson that once again, it's too good to be true. And oh, I looked into their Danforth location today, it's completely empty with no indication of where they currently are. If they're really relocating to a Broadview location, please don't go to this clinic.
