I am going to VS MedSpa for my pigmentation and I truly trust Victoria. She is very responsive via email, FB, or cell. I have never had an issue with appointment times or waiting. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER…read more I went to my first appointment booked for 5:30pm. Since it was the first one, I thought that probably I would have to fill in some forms and I decided to arrive earlier at 5:15pm. When I arrived, the office was closed with a post-it on the door mentioning "I will come back at 5:45pm". I thought it was weird if my appointment was at 5:30pm but I decided to wait. The office is at the second floor on a building with no AC at the hallways and I did have a face mask so it was very annoying due to the hot. Then, at 5:40pm another client came and told me she did have an appointment at 5:45pm. So, when I explained to her than I had been waiting for a while she called the owner and she told her we were both there. This customer told me that she preferred calling her because the first time she went there the same thing happened to her and the owner had completely forgotten about her appointment as well. When the owner came back, she didn't even bother to apologize and she just asked the other lady to go inside instead of me who at that point had been waiting for more than 30 minutes! When I asked her about my appointment, she just told me what I was explaining was "impossible" because she did book my appointment for 6pm and that she went out at 5:30pm (seriously?! When she had done the same to the same other client on her first appointment as well? And when I had been there since 5:15pm?). In few words, after all the wait she just implied I was lying about the time of my appointment, as well as all the time I had been waiting there and she didn't even apologize. Just told me that because I did have to fill in some forms (almost at 6pm), the other customer was going first. I was VERY frustrated so I decided to find another place to go. Just a very AWFUL way to treat a customer on the first appointment!!

She paused than she says I have to PAY a deposit for my next appointment because I cancelled the last one. When I expressed I didn't cancel anything you gave me no indication you had two different locations. she cut me off and said "well that's fine the deposit is 50 dollars". Extremely unprofessional. Since I heard this clinic has a good deal on kenalog injections I paid the deposit . Literally on the day of my appointment she cancels saying I can not get my injections because the nurse is sick. She than gives me the date she initially gave me the first time she called me. Seems pretty clear to me she lied about sooner availability to snatch a deposit out of me.

I have been struggling to find the right RMT who can truly do a deep tissue to the exact pressure I need and Wendy has been the only one that have delivered. Better than my 4 season experience too dare I say. She has excellent control when it comes to consistent pressure or gauging the areas where she needs to concentrate, ease up or work more on. She did warn me that due to the deep pressure I may be sore the next day but you know what? I was not. I was limber, flexible and felt like a million bucks. While this level of deep tissue may not be for everyone, Wendy is the only RMT I have worked with so far that can adjust the pressure and constantly asks for feedback. Conversation was great. If you want to relax you can do that as well and doze off without needing to carry on much of the chit chat. I was extremely surprised to find this level of satisfaction with a random place I completely found by fluke. Really went above and beyond for my customer experience. Apart of that the clinic is clean and they provide slippers for you to change into which I like as a added spa feel. They also do lash extension, facials and laser hair removal (none of which I have tried). Up next, I want to try the Thai Massage which Wendy recommended. I like that she did not up-sell like other clinics but genuinely just recommended her colleague to me based on my complaints and symptoms. I underwent a series of CO2 laser treatments, including fractional laser on my cheeks, for my icepick acne scars between 2022 and 2023. Unfortunately, my experience was highly disappointing. Despite spending over $6,000 on 6 sessions and additional mandatory treatment skincare products, the results did not meet expectations. This was extremely disheartening in the end, as the procedure itself was extremely painful, requiring a full week of downtime after each session. TREATMENT: During my treatments, I noticed inconsistencies in the care provided. While Ina, the technician responsible for most of my sessions, did take her time during less busy appointments, I noticed she would rush through sessions when her schedule was packed. Given that EACH session cost around $1,000 for 50 minutes of treatment time, I expected a more consistent level of care. I understand it's a business, but for the cost, a little more attention and respect to the patient should have been given... I strongly believe there is a chance that I did not get the results I was told by the staff I would get, because of the lack of attention actually given during the treatments. CUSTOMER SERVICE: After 3x initial sessions, I was advised in December 2022 to undergo an additional 3, with the clinic CONFIDENTLY promising me a 60% reduction in the appearance of my scars. Unfortunately, after completing all 6 sessions, I saw little to no improvement (less than 10%). Rather than addressing my concerns with empathy, Ina and the front desk staff attempted to sell me more sessions, which was disheartening, considering the financial and emotional investment I had already made. Overall, this experience gave me the impression that the clinic prioritizes profit over patient care. Considering the pain, time, and significant cost involved, I expected a higher standard of professionalism, bedside manner, and customer service. I strongly do NOT recommend this clinic, as it appears to focus more on profit than truly helping patients.

Shoutout to Regina, Alyssa and Christabelle for being lovely and accommodating to my questions. I have very sensitive skin and I have been traumatized by going to Markham spas with questionable hygiene and standards...so going to New Dermamed was definitely a game changer. The staff I've spoken to are mostly nurses with a certification specializing in doing laser, facials, etc. Definitely helps provide reassurance that I was in good hands! Overall I would recommend checking out New DermaMed for the superior quality, care and customer service received. Looking forward to my next facial!

Turn back the clock! I've been getting skin treatments for 20 years and this is the best place ever! The owner is so well-informed & educated on the best skincare treatments/practices. The place is very clean & the staff is very friendly. They answered all my questions & don't oversell. I've seen a huge difference following the photofacial treatment. My pigmentation is significantly reduced & that was my major concern. She was also able to get rid of some spider veins that photofacials done elsewhere couldn't remove. Yay! Thank you, Redwood. Let me tell you why.. When I had my first P&S experience, I was dealing with really bad cystic acne. I've always had acne and hit a very rough patch (no pun intended) as an adult.. it was really bad for me. Most of my adult acne would be around my jaw and chin line, and would often leaving scarring and significant discoloration. I was living in Seattle and had started seeing a dermatologist who recommended a oral medication that would totally dry out my skin, along with bringing a host of other serious side effects. I didn't really feel good about taking such a heavy duty medication, but I was also at my wits end with my skin. That's when I found P&S. My very first P&S facial was a basic version plus an add on of the sea salt microdermabrasion. I was also introduced to the power of face oils. I cannot tell you how amazing my skin looked and felt after that first visit. Plus my facialist taught me so much.. like how drying out my skin actually intensified my acne by making my skin go into overdrive with oil production that ended up clogging my pores and hence contributing to cystic acne. Ugh!! P&S also introduced me to a number of amazing skin care products that have become part of my routine.. some of my favorites are the face oils for skin challenges with rosacea and acne, the black mud and propolis creams, the vitamin C and algae serums, a pumpkin exfoliating mask, and the rosehip oil. I LOVE all these!! And since that very first P&S visit all those years ago, I've been a faithful customer. Every time I'm home (I still live in Seattle and get home a few times a year to visit my folks), a visit to P&S is a must!! I typically go to the King Street spa - the ladies there have been awesome! But just a few months ago they opened a Mississauga location and I'm in heaven!! My folks live in Lorne Park (community in Mississauga) and this newest P&S location is literally 10-12 minutes away. No more fighting traffic to get downtown and then having to figure out parking and the traffic on the return trip - yaayyy!!! The ladies in the Mississauga location are wonderful!! Friendly, informative and very down to earth. Both of my two services since they opened have been amazing, and I've been really happy with my product purchases! TOTAL $230 I took my daughter there for a consult for a gentle chemical peel for acne and oily skin. The esthetician (NOT Dr. Jenn) with 20 years experience gave her a gentle peel with no salicylic acid which is necessary, it did nothing; it was basically a moisturizer and I wasted about $110. In addition I was sold a $98 acne product that expired 15 months ago. They did refund with no issue and apologies. There was pressure to buy their line of products. I will get her another peel but I will not go here. 2. TOTAL $2300 I was on the wait list for a surgical procedure which they did also support and recommend for me. In the meantime, while waiting to surgically get rid of my puffy under eye I decided to try a dermal filler. I REALLY wanted something to help me out. They did not do my eyes because of the pending surgery but other areas of my face to help smooth it out - the results were minimal, the Total cost was $2300. I ended up getting the under-eye surgery and they dissolved all the filler anyway so the money was a complete waste anyway. Dissolved! I didn't know enough about all of this stuff but I certainly have learnt my lesson! Sharing if you are in the same position. Dr Jenn, did follow me through the journey of getting the surgery and I appreciate that but it doesn't get me the money back which was a small vacation's worth! 3. The receptionist who dealt with this issue also told me that multiple people paid a promotional price that didn't include HST. I'm disappointed that the business didn't try to make things right, instead shifting the blame when it clearly wasn't my fault, and other customers were also affected.
