We took it to several other places that didn't really want to deal with it, I found this business via Yelp and as a recommendation from The Gallery Shooting Range. These guys welcomed us in, chatted us up and immediately got to work on the rifle. They even have the ability to test fire weapons right there on site. The problem was diagnosed in five minutes and repaired in ten minutes. In the meantime, we were shown around and given a detailed explanation of the Cera Kote process. The rifle was returned to us and they refused to take a payment from us as the fix was simple. This is our new gun smith as no experience we've ever had in this genre gets anywhere near the positive experience of this place. These guys really love and know their guns. Picked up a Radian Raptor charging handle. I'm a first time AR15 owner and the kind gentleman(sorry I didn't ask his name) at the shop offered to drop it in for me if I had problems after he literally displayed with his own rifle, step by step how to do it. From here on out this will be my go to store for everything I need because of this encounter and because I respect decent human beings who are professional and courteous!

Went in to get it fixed, they kept it for nearly 3 weeks and could not get it fixed. Rob referred me to another shop, which of course I have to pay for to get his mistake fixed, so I asked to refund the $25. He threw a fit, gave me the money and said some sarcastic comments under his breath, e.g "next time don't rack the slide from the optic" which I told him I never did or do. So now I have a slide with a screw in it, have to pay to get it fixed (hopefully). And left with a bunch of unnecessary attitude. Every time id call to check on my slide, I would receive some attitude from Rob, the gunsmith. His work is questionable, and his attitude, inexcusable.

When I entered, I was greeted very warmly and asked if I needed any help. No complaints there. The prices seemed reasonable with a rather limited selection of firearms and/or ammunition. It's a small store, so that's not really an issue. What did bother me is the way the pistols were just thrown into the display cabinets, lying on and against one another. It just feels off to me to see such high dollar weapons just randomly thrown into a case. I've never seen new guns bare metal stacked on one another like this. It gave me the feeling these people didn't care about firearms in the same way I do. I'd be slow to buy from anyone that shows such little regard for their own stock. I've been buying guns for twenty years and I've never seen this, even in low end pawn shops. Your mileage may vary but guns are a lifestyle to me and I deeply care about how they are taken care and how safely they are handled.

He charged me a very fair price w/o any hidden charges. Test fired and cleaned it for me on top of the repair. He was willing to go over any questions or concerns I had right then. They sell so guns, not a huge selection but plenty of options. The firing line itself works great, feels safe and the safety officers are consistent, present but not over bearing. The staff was very nice to me but they were just a tad condescending to me as a female shooter. I'm a vastly experienced gun owner and shooter and I don't need it "mansplained" to me about calibers and recoil. Much less grip size " a woman my size can handle. Aside from that little hiccup, I enjoyed my time at this range. It's on the complete opposite side of town from me, a forty five minute drive, but I'll gladly meet my friend out there to shoot again. The price to shoot is very reasonable but we did have to wait twenty minutes for a lane.
